Let's be honest.
...
Why can't online casinos allows their customers to pass KYC verification before they start gambling?
It looks like a perfect excuse for them to restrict you from withdrawal.
It's the best way to accumulate user personal information as well. If you're personal information is a throw away already, that's good for you, usually people who doesnt care their privacy are okay with this setup.

If your concern is the kyc after withdrawal request, then you should already know it will happen based on the casino terms so it shouldnt be a problem in anyway. Unless you use a casino who has lots withdrawal issues, or selective scamming.

I would only view it via the realm of revenue as you restrict the flow of anything you will receive less of it.  Revenue is vital to growth in a casino model, also there is a bias where most players will not require verify eventually compared to performing it on everyone through the gate.

That's right, not all gamblers that make out time to read through the terms and conditions of a casino. Some folks venture into casinos without even going through the terms and conditions of the casino and it's very risky, but in other hand I won't blame them because some happens as a result of ignorant. there are gamblers who doesn't know how to read and write that is why I would suggest that all casinos should make everything visible even though gamblers want to do something due to ignorant they should give them warning in a red sign I'm sure they may have the ability to know what that means.
How is someone supposed to understand what is written in a red sign if they can't read and write? And how the hell is a person even able to use the internet or an electronic device, reach a platform for gambling and create an account while they can't even read and write? That thing you said didn't make any sense at all, because someone who can't read and write would not be using an electronic device, and even if they do, they won't know enough to use an online gambling platform, have an email address for signing up and everything.

The reason why most people don't read the terms and conditions before signing up in any platform not just casinos is that they are too lazy to do it, and they will only look through them when they are told by the support that they have violated them, or maybe when they want to look for something specific, like whether their country is supported or not, whether they can use VPN or not, and some other stuff like that. Besides, a casino can't make everything visible on the front page of their website.

It should either be mandatory before you even deposit or not at all. I’ve seen too many predatory casinos/sportsbooks deny people who win from withdrawing or make it very difficult to. You only have to look at the Scam Accusation board on the forum to see many such examples.

Most casinos allow KYC to be done by yourself. Most gamblers don't do it until it becomes necessary.
I agree that it could be the best choice – KYC during registration. But casinos will never do it, and all of us understand why.

P.S. Even if you go through KYC, it only increases your chances of getting your big win. A casino can ban your account, can set withdrawal limits, etc. That's why I always withdraw my wins as fast as possible. And after that, you mostly get a bet limit small enough to make you leave this casino.

Casinos do allow their customers to pass KYC verification immediately your account has been created. In fact, in most casinos they make the Verify your credentials so big that whenever you open your account profile it's the first flashy thing that you see. In most cases it's even the gamblers that refuses to pass the KYC verification probably because they don't like to pass through the stress of biometrics and giving their personal details out to a random casino.
I feel the right question is: why do casinos not impose the no KYC no gaming policy, since it's something they care about after a gambler must have made a huge win?

Here is my take on this topic, even if you manage to pass KYC verification before your first deposit don't rely on it, this doesn't mean that casinos can't freeze your funds if they feel like doing so, many things can make them do this, not illegally but legal, some gamblers are not clean as we all think.

Some have bad intentions in mind and they shall be treated with such manner in return, so just because you passed KYC doesn't mean you are now holy, you still need to respect the terms and conditions of the online casino

I am familiar with several casino sites that entice gamblers to register as KYC free. The campaign they run is also correct but you have to go through KYC verification when withdrawing money. This is basically a condition of the agreement between the casino developers and the approvers because each casino platform locally has to be approved by multiple authorities.
There is also the question of credibility in the case of gamblers because most gamblers do not trust casinos that offer the facility of not doing KYC verification. You will see that casinos that run KYC free promotions will ask you for the necessary documents to verify your personal information later. If the casino does not ask for the necessary documents, you should understand that you may face fraud in the future.

Let's be honest.

Casinos are getting away with people not been able to pass their KYC information after they won some money.
It's like some of them are intentionally using this against gamblers.

You won't know how friendly your favourite online casino is until you won some good amount of money.
Someone I knew had the same experience recently and it got me wondering why..

Why can't online casinos allows their customers to pass KYC verification before they start gambling?
It looks like a perfect excuse for them to restrict you from withdrawal.

If you are telling us that casinos don't allow their players to pass KYC registration or verification before they start gambling is actually wrong because I'm aware that some of us gamblers don't like properly registering before they proceed to start gambling and when we have won a huge amount and have been restricted by casinos from withdrawals we begin to cry fowl when ordinary we would have done our KYC verification during the time we open the casino account, it's not their fault and they are not using it to scam anyone, we are just too stubborn to follow instructions.

Many people has being restricted from withdrawing when they win big money because they will ask the owner for KYC verification and that a problem. We just need to verify our accounts before going ahead to start gambling, some bettors don't trust casinos and that's why  most of them don't  give out their personal informations and it's haunting them at last.
