I even doubt if there's any part of the world where barbers are earning more than engineers, although it depends on Field. But as for this fields they listed in that box. There is no way a job can last you for decades, even skills may not last you for decades. Take for instance, graphic design used to be one of the best skills you can have, it will make you get Jobs and gigs from client but today, most of them are complaining because the simple task jobs people bring to them to get paid for small money are not coming again, they have given their jobs to AI which they can can get for free even better than what they can do for them.

If you want to survive for long time, get skill that even if AI will replace, human will be needed. HVAC technicians? The ones who works on refrigeration system? Many of them in my country but those people aren't doing so well with their lives probably because they are doing this jobs out of school, I mean no degrees involved.

I believe it's more of an attitude rather than a job. The ability to change along the way. There are numerous careers that were once thought to be permanent that have been transformed due to technological. Regulatory or economic changes. Even if you do trade. Money flows where a permanent problem exists. The market can exist till end of capitalism. 80% 0r 90% loose money cause trading is not just the market existing. Its about you working ahead of millions of smart people in the same field. The market can survive for ever, traders doesn't most times.

Food business; money will always be present. one can sell cooked meals or raw food because that's everyday necessity as none can survive without it. It's always going to be.
Health; people will go for check ups, will get sick. That's where nurses, doctors, pharmacist etc comes in they'll care for you and you in return one pays for services.
Infrastructure/electricity/maintenance; now when I talk about infrastructure. One works and the owner pays there's an income. You rent it out tenant pays, things gets spoiled and people pays to fix it always, that's something that can never stop. All these maintenance are done by people with different skills for every problem. Electricity is everyday necessity too. Electricity given to us by PHED generates income to them. There are lots more that can survive always, not just stock market(trading) alone.

If you’re looking for a job or skill that will never fade away then you need to learn a skill or study a course you will practice for the rest of your life.The healthcare sector is a field that would never fade away because people fall ill and definitely they would run to a physician for treatment or checkup.They’re lots of physicians that are too excellent in their profession,even after retirement the hospital wouldn’t let go of them.This topic reminds me of our family doctor when I was still young,the man grew old to a retirement age but the public hospital still retained him so he was retired but he wasn’t tired of practicing he’s field because of the passion he has for the profession.There are lot of profession and skills to elaborate on but I decided to make more emphasis on the medical field since I am a healthcare practitioner.

Barber shops and mechanic shops can both be seen as service businesses.
And once we're talking about business, revenue or income depends on the location, customer base, service prices, shop size, management skills and..a whole bunch of other factors. You can't really judge which one generates more income just based on what the job itself is.

I agree with you. Relying on a specific job or limited skills for the future can be really risky. The requirements of the work we are doing in the future and the demands of the workplace may change. Also, the nature of work may change due to recession or technology. In this case, if I have the habit of learning, real work experience and the ability to adapt to changing situations, then it will be relatively easy for me to find new opportunities. So stability does not mean working in the same organization or position for the rest of my life or limiting my skills. The importance of some basic needs and services will always remain the same and will not easily disappear with time. Transportation is a good example of this, because there will always be a need to move people, food, raw materials, and goods from one place to another. Even though today's technology such as Covered van, trucks, buses, ships, and airplanes changes one by one, the basic need will remain the same. Similarly, agriculture is an area where even though technology is modern, the need for food for people will never decrease. The production method is gradually changing due to the use of irrigation systems, agricultural machinery, and improved seeds, but the fundamental role of the farmer is still important.

I would like to add two more areas to your examples of transportation and agriculture, healthcare and construction work. Just like food, people always need a good doctor, nurse, and pharmacist to stay healthy. Many professions related to healthcare will be in demand for a long time, although their work style may change due to technology. Construction work, people are increasing day by day in the world, the demand for housing and people is increasing. So there is a long-term demand for construction and repair work. For example, houses, roads, bridges, factories, and various infrastructures have to be built and maintained, so there is also a long-term demand for construction and repair work.

Ultimately, times will change, technology will change, but the value of works built around basic human needs can endure in many cases.
