In the case like this which is just a mere real estate named after him, it doesn’t do anything to your reputation whether your tenant do good things or bad things imo. You express yourself clearly, and I don’t think there is any problem registering your business in another person’s address as long as you leave there, his reputation can be of help to your business if the owner of the building is an influential person, and it can be of bad influence to you if the person isn’t a good person as well, therefore, finding a way to build your business should be your primary concern and not your place of leaving because many market places are rented places which carries address of the company or the owners of the place.

This is only the negative aspect. Using personal name to build a business has two sides the good and bad side (pros and crons). The bad side is what has been highlighted in this reply but looking at the good side we discover if the business maintains a good reputation not just that the brand will bloom the reputation of the name bearing the brand will also grow. It will be easier to handle high contracts due to trust and also engage in political positions because of how well the society trust the brand and the name behind it.

‎I was just thinking how much I have had to input my house address in most of my documents and bills and what concerns me, as to the reason why I brought up this post is because all my documents bear a singular name in the person of the owner of the street who happens to be the landlord and while he has built his own reputation over the years, using his name on my address makes him even the more popular in a good way because his real estate property is registered with his full names as the business name.

Indeed, for big businesses sometimes it can sometimes be used as privacy and distinguish business affairs from personal affairs but if you still can't do that build a reputation from the start before transferring business affairs to the office is not a wrong thing for me.

There is a danger in opening your business in another persons name or with another person’s details, because that individual has legal rights over your business and can claim it as theirs if they want to do so.

Yea actually putting a face behind business build more trust most especially in a situation were the person has a good reputation already. Name people choose for their business, can actually be unfavorable to their business, but come to think of it, do people choose name for their business without cross checking if such name has been tainted, and how do you register a business with an existing name, is this possible? After all, there a many streets that bears the full name of probably the first inhabitant of that place or a popular figure in the street. A business is a legal entity, which means it is a different body from the owners. Using your real name as a business name is a personal choice. I wouldn't use my name for that since it is not good for privacy. Some people come from reputable families; the name is a goodwill that can open doors of opportunity for them.
