In the end the conclusion remains same however one might attempt to legitimize this. Signals are scams, no matter what.
I think it depends on how the signals are provided. If a signal provider has a documented track record, and instead of trying to convince people with claims, screenshots, or promises, they simply let their actual performance speak for itself, I don't see how making money from providing that service is inherently a scam. The problem isn't charging for signals. The problem is selling something while making the results impossible to verify. Those offering signals are selling false hope, because the true traders actually knows there's no shortcut to learn and earn on their trades.
Because what people need to build is their patience, discipline and skills.
Thats why I dont like these paid Telegram calls. Most of the time they are scams. But even if a genuine trader is sharing calls, all he has to do is chill and relax while we take the risk of losing our hard earned capital. So, I would say that do your own analysis and trade based on your own decisions.
I don't think everyone interested in investing in trading necessarily needs to quit their job and spend years trying to become a trader themselves. Using someone else's expertise can also be a rational, and potentially safer, approach. If someone spends years of their time and capital trying to learn something where only a small percentage actually become consistently profitable, isn't that also a significant risk? Compared with following someone who has already proven that they belong to that small percentage, the question becomes: which risk are you more comfortable taking? Of course, the key word here is "proven." The signal provider should have a documented and verifiable track record, not just claims or screenshots. but the essential thing is whether they were consistent in making profit.
Absolutely. We completely agree on that point. They're scammers, ser.
If they provide a verifiable track record of their performance, what exactly makes them scammers?

People pay to attend seminars and conferences in order to get information that will shape their lives for good. So why shouldn't they pay for trading signals? They should. Sometimes, you have to spend money in order to get more money. The skill didn't just fall down from heaven on the trader. It was acquired over the years and should be worth paying for. As long as what the trader is selling is good and the subscribers are profiting, it's okay.
To be on a neutral level i think ever skill takes a little bit time nobody was born with knowledge knowing support, risk management psychology, of a trader spent 3_4 years losing learning over the night and doing some background testing with rest every day, it should be a thing of choice if choose to monetize it at anytime, example "just like we need to pay the hospital bills before leaving that hospital" it as simple as that... And in addition to whar you said as long as the subscribers are profitting for the class or mentorship program it worth the penny, and sometimes it best to pay for knowledge so we can have value for what he or she is teaching...

This is an important point. I mean, fact that someone sells trading signals doesn't bother me in itself. for me What Most importantt is Do they truly master trading? or Do they trully offer successful recommendations or are these merely stolen ideas or illusory signals?
What drives people to ask this question is the promises made by these influencers Those who claim to possess extensive trading experience about the achievement of success rates exceeding 100% and massive, unrealistic profits. here raises the natural question that me and everyone asks: If they are truly achieving these figures... then why they need to charge a subscription money?

What do you think?
Do you see selling signals, creating trading content, or teaching as a legitimate way for a good trader to scale beyond their own capital?
To be honest, I also believe that there is generally nothing wrong with a person trying to teach others what they already know by charging them for what they are doing, because if you have a talent or a skill, and you know that there is demand for it and since you have a lot of knowledge and experience in that thing, you should go ahead and utilize that, but as you said, it's not just the people who know these things properly, because when a market gets too saturated, there will be more bad actors than good, which is the negative aspect of all this. And more importantly, what would you consider enough evidence that a signal provider can actually trade?
If they have a good success rate with their signals they provide, and they don't manipulate their audience by providing and then deleting their signals, changing their words in halfway through a trade, I think such a person can be trusted to be a good trader, and it can be observed over time. It's not possible for you to know if someone is good at something or not too quickly, you will have to observe everything properly and closely to finally reach a conclusion.

If their trading signals are actually profitable, then why sell them to the PLEBS like us, no? Why not trade using their trading signals themselves? If it doesn't bother you, would you recommend those signals for our fellow PLEBS? Because they're SCAMMERS.

If their trading signals are actually profitable, then why sell them to the PLEBS like us, no? Why not trade using their trading signals themselves? If it doesn't bother you, would you recommend those signals for our fellow PLEBS? More than 99% of people who share trading signals do that for the subscription money they get from people and may or may not be profitable in trading. I have seen many of them and one thing is common among them which is starting very well and ending badly. If someone is confident of being profitable as a trader, they will not want to be know rather they will be hiding somewhere and enjoying life with trading money. I have stopped listening to anyone claiming to be trading expert because I know where it will end.

Those individuals who present themselves as experienced and attract the general person under the pretext of selling signals. I do not give them importance or priority at all. In reality, if signal providers could create a track record with skill, they would never come into the public eye. Because they do not consider their signals to be partially useful. I'm somewhat annoyed with these signal providers because many individuals present themselves enticingly on Telegram. They always provide useless signals, which are passed off as paid signals. However, this does not seem fair or reasonable to me. It is simply a trap. Therefore, without giving too much importance to these providers, we should study trading continuously. Because it is better to develop oneself as a skilled analyst.

In the past I would've argued that such attitude wasn't a characteristics of a profitable trader because if they could trade profitably why would they do that? But experience has taught me that it's highly possible. Some traders don't like going the way of Prop Firms to raise capital, and that can be quite understandable because of the so many dos and don'ts from Prop Firms. We've a lot of traders like that now with their VIP groups while they still provide free services too. And more importantly, what would you consider enough evidence that a signal provider can actually trade?
If they're able to provide charts indicating where price is expected to head before it hits, then they certainly know their onions. Chart analyses is key for me.

A little bit of common sense will solve these questions easily. One does not need to come and justify in the forum why their signals are legit and others are bad unless the first one wants to make their scam look like a solution. These slippery scum will do anything possible to bamboozle potential victims, mostly wannabe traders who want to get rich quickly.
There is no harm in discussing an asset to be good or bad in a group but asking money for selling fake signals is one of the lowest of low that one person can do instead of working like a labour to make money.
In the end the conclusion remains same however one might attempt to legitimize this. Signals are scams, no matter what.
There are some traders I have come across on Trading and because I love their set up, I decided to give them a follow and join their channel for educational purpose until I notice that they have private groups and I do get curious why a trader that claimed to be profitable will be looking for people that will join their trading groups because they want them to earn like them. If you earn that much, why not do it for free in the channel instead of going private. Most of them don't know anything, they are profitable only on paper, they don't know how to trade on chart and make real money. One thing I know about human is that when they have an opportunity where they make money, they keep quiet. They don't share where and how they make money and that is even your secret as a trader. When it work for you, don't reveal everything to others so they can be your liquidity shake for the market.

There's no wrong with selling signals if you aim to help beginner traders in the market. But selling to scam people and steal their funds, that's where the biggest mistake happens, unfortunately a lot of traders are doing that because they find it quick means to make profits rather than trade and navigate the market where losses are more guaranteed than making profitable gains.
Eventually selling signals end up a big scam, except for those who are genuine in helping the newbies in trading.

No good trader that will think of selling signals and make others benefit from it, instead he will use it for his own advantage and make the most of money because he has reliable and proven working trading signals.
Once he decides to sell, the clear motive there is no other than to scam the people that will fall for it. Why he'd be selling it if it actually works for trading? So the clear purpose is to scam the people. While those who fall on the trap are losing money, but he is actually making instant money.

For real, I don't think a profitable trader would still have the time to sell signals, convince others to buy their signals or course. A profitable trader would just focus on trading as it will yield more profit compared to selling signals.
That's why if I saw a post on social media talking about how their life has changed because of trading, buying things they want, eating the food they want, etc., and they want to help others make money in trading as well, and later talk about their course, trading journal, etc., I would just skip their post right away. I wouldn't buy their sales talk no matter what gains they show. It's not worth it.

Been extremely careful with these traders especially the ones that called themselves whales in the market because they have intentions of earning money from us through the act of mentorship and selling courses online, they even tend to focus more on selling trading signals with the key factor or enriching themselves. They know the space and working hand in hand with exchanges just to grow their own community and getting commission for each referral and task they complete. The market is so messed up and we clearly understand the market because we're no longer newbies in the market, we know how the market does works and it's our objective to ensure we reap good money from it by doing our own research and finding the basis of the market. I'm a good trader, I can't just be blindly paying someone that portray himself as a mentor just for the purpose of selling courses and signals which I'm not even sure they know how to trade in the market.

A person works hard and spends money to get himself in a good position and move towards success. Money should definitely be paid for trading signals. If someone wants to learn from that successful person, then I think a successful trader never sells signals but can earn from trading. Skill never comes to a person by itself but he has to wait for a long time and learn and work hard and later skill and experience come. However, according to what I have seen, most of the traders never claim to be experienced and successful and do not sell signals for money. They have very little time to analyze the market in depth and sell their signals. But usually those who are not very experienced and profit by trading a little bit with the advice of others, they sell signals for money on various social media and Telegram channels. Basically a successful trader values his time a lot, so they do not sell signals for money on social media and various channels, they give time to their position. However, there are many traders who constantly sell their signals in order to profit from the greed for money, even though it is rarely possible to make a profit from trading here.

Some people have also made it a source of income and some people give it for free so that those who aim to trade can also earn like him and make a good life for themselves. Although those who take money and sell it have most chances of success, but this will limit you to only that and your analysis will be completely zero, so make your own signals and make it easy for yourself. In this way, if you have to take signals from people, you cannot become a good trader, but only your income can be a source of income. I have seen many people who give signals for free, but trading should come from ourselves and our analysis because we can go to the market whenever we want and make ourselves profitable. You have to work with the signal at its time, otherwise you will lose the profit of the signal at that time.

There’s one thing I keep seeing people repeat:
“A good trader doesn’t sell signals because they don’t need to. They make enough money from trading.”
Is it really that hard to understand that 6% a month doesn’t necessarily mean a lot of money when your capital isn’t large?
And what if you actually withdraw those profits to pay for your living expenses instead of endlessly compounding them?
I genuinely find it strange that this has somehow turned into a common trading myth.

If you have a Signal group that has a large following, you'll end up limiting the free signals you share and introducing VIP groups that share signals more exclusively. I guess that's what I often see in free groups. There is a purpose for them to share signals. One of them is to develop their channel or group. The bigger the group you can build, the more you will think about commercializing your group as a source of income.

Re: If you're a good trader, why sell signals? In Trading, profit isn't 100%, but in selling signals? As long as you have people who joined in your PAID channel, as long as there are people out there willing to pay you just to give them signals, you will be making money. Well, this is the main reason why these so-called expert traders have something that they're selling. It's kind of ironic that they need to sell something when they call themselves as "professional traders". Well I guess they want to have a bigger capital because for them, bigger capital equals bigger profit potential. I can't blame them though, but I feel sad to those who are subscribing or paying just to "LEARN" where in fact, some of those "PRO" traders are just sharing information that you can be seen online. This is about signals, and I shared about information blah blah. Well, it's because there are some traders who are sharing information, but at the same time, they're sharing some signals on their PAID group as well so... yeah it's kind of related. Anyway, I'm not saying that you don't need to pay just to learn, but pick wisely.

Do you see selling signals, creating trading content, or teaching as a legitimate way for a good trader to scale beyond their own capital?
And more importantly, what would you consider enough evidence that a signal provider can actually trade?
Selling of signals and other monetization routes aren’t bad just like you have even mentioned, but how true and verifiable these content are becoms the point of concern, trading comes with it's own challenges and one of which is scalability, and the major concern we see around scalability is with available capital, so if a trader has got good quality content to put out there, be it signals, educational content or whatever it is that is trading related to get him to raise capital to up scale his skill, I don't find anything wrong with that, it only becomes a problem when there's a lot of falsehood behind the content which makes it clear that such person is looking to rip others of their money in the guise of trading content, meanwhile they aren't good at trading. One way to know if a signal provider is genuine is through a proven live section, there should be room for occasional live sections, if the provider believes they are that good enough and wouldn't mind proving it, then they can host a live section where we get to see their live performances on the chart, even if it's occasionally, and then the signals provided should be such that is matchable with what is happening on the chart as at the time the signals were provided, anything otherwise could likely be some decit. Sometimes there should be losses and not wins all the time, an efficient trading system doesn't have a 100% win rate, so if a signal provider is promising anything above 70%, check them well, there could be chances they aren't genuine enough.
