Bitcoin - is the bear market bottom in?

There is still a possibility that we will see levels below $58.5k, and $45,000 may be the lowest level, but since the price is holding above $75,000, this possibility is unlikely. So, unless something bad happens, $58.5k is the bottom, or at least close to the bottom, and there is a high probability that we will not fall below $45,000.

I think that $58.5k will not be the bottom because when the price crossed $80k it didn't have any support to retain the price within that position which led to a drop around $77k so it means that a heavy selling pressure can cause the market to drop down to $60k, so any more downloads movement will go below $55k. But if the market doesn't experience a new bottom after this month it means that it will remain in $58.5k.

There might be a rally upwards as soon as we enter into the month of Uptober, so we should expect the bottom this month of September.

The current market price isn't bad. It's known that the price is in a range that's very easy to break through. It could move upwards, but there isn't enough momentum. What could happen? Many things, but the main one is that there won't be any wars or further geopolitical problems, which is currently impossible. I do feel though that was can go back to the $65k range again to see a higher low and I'm actually hoping for that again to buy cheap one last time before bull run is here for next few years.

Perhaps if there’s a breakdown at the $72k price level, a drop to $65k will actually happen.

Right now, I’m personally still waiting to see how the market reacts. Perhaps in the future there will be positive news that could increase buying pressure and lead to a breakout above the nearest resistance level, eventually reaching $90k–$100k.

Although my gut feeling tells me that 58k isn’t the lowest price, i think Bitcoin could still drop to the $52k–$45k range. But i hope i’m wrong.

The current state of the market is now showing that the market will go back and make new lows. The current lows should be the least it will get to if the market form remains like this and we don’t see any changes to the trend of the market. Everything here is just not favoring the bearish sentiment for now, but that doesn’t mean there is no possibility of the market testing that low again or even going beyond it. Until the market makes a move above $100K, I don’t feel fully convinced of a bullish market yet.

It's either we're convinced that this time around we're halving a higher low or we've yet to see the bottom, which might finally occur in a month or two.

At this point, I won't say the bear is done. Perhaps we're still trying to send it into a deep slumber. But, until now, it's obvious that's it's rather a hard battle to win. We've seen rejections from the $80,000-$81,000 resistance a number of times already.

I hope we're not yet exhausted fighting the bear. Otherwise, our last rejected attempt might finally bring us back to the price level prior to the Treasury's announcement of a double long-term bond buyback.

If that is the case then we can say that the next coming months is not going to be good and as much as we don't like to see another lowest lows, then there could be another deep correction.

Despite the recent market rally, we remain in a bearish phase; therefore, we cannot definitively say whether the $58,000 level marks Bitcoin's cycle bottom though I personally lean towards the view that it is indeed the bottom.

In any case, I do not want to rush the results, and I maintain that we have reached the bottom. We must wait a few more months and monitor the market until the upward trend is confirmed, and only then can we say whether this is the bottom or not.

Of course, a decline is still possible, but I’m not sure it will go lower than the lowest price we’ve seen in this bear market. If another drop occurs, it might not go below $60k. Actually, buying at the current price is not bad either, but if you wait for a lower price to make a purchase, don’t set the target too low. You might be able to plan a purchase when the price is around $70k. At least when the market starts to be bullish, your pocket will already be full.

For now, $58,500 can be considered the bottom price because, as of September, there has been no lower low than that price.
Based on historical data regarding price movements from an all-time high (ATH) to a bottom, the decline typically reaches 65%; if multiplied by the most recent ATH, this could result in a price below $58,500.
If that’s the case, then $58,500 isn’t the bottom—it’s even lower—and with only a few months left until 2026 ends, all we can do is sit back and watch.

If you want to use September's past performance to predict what might happen this year, don't just look at the last 3 years. You also need to keep in mind that this is considered a bear year, and September during previous bear cycles has always ended in the red.

At least though getting to $80k might be a good idea for investors. We don't want to see the price going sideways around $70k-$75k. If that is the case then we can say that the next coming months is not going to be good and as much as we don't like to see another lowest lows, then there could be another deep correction.

Even if Bitcoin keeps going up this month, there's no guarantee that the bear market is over and we’ve entered a new bull market.

You can't really determine the overall market trend based on just a few months or a few price levels.

Bitcoin will be far from falls nearly $20k but that could be possible for flash dump. I really hopes $58.5k was the bottom for the price and not going down for more. If that happening next few months, that will not be a problem, that is the chances to buy back at low. You should prepares for the worst so you will not panic and act based on the situation. You said that it's hard to conclude and that July might not yet be the bottom for this year. But it's better to assume that it already did if we're looking forward for the better price. Because right now, the market looks better in a bear market compared to the past bear markets that we have in. There's no bs on it because there's the shift on how we take bear markets. It's not that bloody at all if we look at the past and this is way better than of those.

When we see Bitcoin's ATH once touched the $126k level and fell to the $58k level, if I speculate this has fallen far, you could say it has touched the bottom of the market, if there is a market name below the bear market, well that's the name of that market.

I actually have the opposite feeling in terms of speculation, what if we pass Bitcoin's new ATH in 2028 at $150k-$200k but we don't have the slightest long-term investment in Bitcoin, so we just pass by, because We don't buy because we are busy talking about whether the bear market is over or not.

I think we’ve seen the bottom, but the market may not be in a bull market quite yet. Any potential drop I think is still in a reasonable range and does not make a new lowest price during a bearish period. Bitcoin price has tried to break $80k multiple times but has corrected once again. Perhaps in the next pump we will see movements that really take us to a bullish market.

I believe it is more of a question of if. Rather than when, $58.5k was the bottom. And if Bitcoin has indeed signaled a new trend. One bounce off the bottom and a move up don't mean the bottom is out! I prefer to see a higher low and then break the previous major high before I'm sure. If not, more testing of the $60-65k range is not out of the question. Attempting to guess the bottom can also cause people to wait too long for the price to rise.

You can never tell if Bitcoin will still fall to the lowest bottom. Don't assume Bitcoin will fall and that there will be a new bottom; don't conclude this and just lock it in your mind. The way the price is moving, Bitcoin might not dip to the price most people are speculating.

The worst thing that can happen to anyone at this time is to expect the Bitcoin price to drop as they anticipate. It is possible the market is gradually entering a bull market, and the current price of Bitcoin is cheaper, which investors need to take advantage of.

The correction can start at any time but it is not certain. In fact, no one can say exactly what level the Bitcoin price will reach this month. Every investor invests based on assumptions but by looking at the market analysis and previous charts, one can have some idea about the future. In October last year, the Bitcoin price touched ATH. After an year we are very close to that time. The market can rise or fall in any situation.

Although the market started rising in the last 2 weeks, the highest market price entered above $82k. Although the Bitcoin price did not match my expectations, the growth phase was satisfactory although I thought it would probably touch $90k this month.

I don't think so. There are several moments that push the price up aggressively, and the time will come when the Bitcoin price will also drop aggressively. Until that moment appears, I still believe Bitcoin hasn't started its bull run phase.
When the market drops aggressively, then stabilizes and rises slowly, that's when the bull run truly begins. Sudden movements often become a trap for us all.
