There was a bullish move but can't remove the though that we're still however in a bear market IMO.

Due to the recent news of the non-approval of the Clarity Law, the price was affected; it's a fact that it dropped substantially, but that doesn't mean it can't continue to drop even though it may seem that way. I've seen that what many think will happen ends up being the opposite. I hope that this time it will be so, because I've seen many saying that the price will drop even more; the opposite may occur.

I don't know what you are seeing, but even if the Clarity Act was not approved, there's not much of a change in the price. We are still ranging into $75k-$76k. So that still has a lot of support and didn't pull the price further down.

So it means that the news even the increase in the .25 increase in rate in the US doesn't have any impact whatsoever in the price. We are stable for now and we still have two weeks to go for the price to reach $80k again and so there might not have a big correction as others might be expecting.

Yup, we're clearly still in a bear market, and it isn't over yet. Just because we had a bullish move and the price reached the level we were hoping for doesn't mean Bitcoin is out of the bear market. That alone isn't enough to say the bear market is over.

In the short and medium term, I see it as bearish, but in the long term, it's not. In the long term, it's just seen as a price correction.

Making trades thinking it will go up in the short term is wrong; it's not feasible. That's why you have to know how to trade BTC. I'm trading every 15 days, but it's with the DCA method. I say "trades" because, whatever the price is, I buy small fractions, and that keeps me afloat so I don't lose my position in the market. But when there are sharp corrections, it's good to buy a little more so that the returns are more effective in the long run.

How are we all feeling? Is the bottom in or not?
Yes, I think that was the bottom of this cycle and we won't be able to see another bottom anytime soon. I also think that we've entered a new bull market that will get intense over time so those who accumulated Bitcoin at $60k and below were the smart ones, they'll end up making good profit if Bitcoin forms another ATH. Even at this time they're in good profit if they invested huge amount in it so I think the ones who missed $60k or below it should invest in Bitcoin now and if they don't they'll regret later when Bitcoin crosses $100k agian.

I would avoid judging BTC by political approval or not, this is law in one country when it Bitcoin should be a global utility product.  Its very ironic to sell BTC or expect weakness from Bitcoin for such things when its never relied on being aligned to central banking and top down governance.

There is no great pullback, the overall elevation in comparison to August is still there and we're only varied within that important positive gain since then.   If we were to resolve downwards to 70k I'd take it seriously as a proper reset attempt but BTC would still be positive even there imo.

I do hope that we won't see any price correction just because of the Clarity act, I think investors are well educated with that subject already and won't just sell their Bitcoin because it was not approved.

Currently, it's price is very strong and holding, that is a sign that market has really matured and you could be right that we might have seen the bottom and there are no future corrections. And who knows, that 6 digit might be again hit in the last 3 months of this year.

Wow. I'm also optimistic that the Bitcoin will hit the six digits again since it is undervalued. However, Hope is not a strategy.Every indicators have to be pointing to that direction before weighing the probability for the event to occur. Even if $83k resistance is broken, that should not show a clear indication that the bottom is over. An event can happen, policies may be updated which can affect Bitcoin price, even technology can become more advanced that would alter Bitcoin value such as individuals owning multiple quantum computers.

Is $58.5k we fell to early July the bottom for this bear market or do we have 1 leg lower?

We are nearly half way through September and I now feel the bottom is in as cant see how Bitcoin falls nearly $20k now to new lows from the current $77k unless something really bad happens next few weeks.

I do feel though that was can go back to the $65k range again to see a higher low and I'm actually hoping for that again to buy cheap one last time before bull run is here for next few years.

How are we all feeling? Is the bottom in or not?

I hate asking this question because when people do the same it's already too late, you don't want to be in Bitcoin after the bottom is in, you should already be buying before the bottom because waiting on confirmation means the price is already climbing up.

Where are these waiting for 50k? It's nothing to hide that Bitcoin bottomed at 57k already and to go down there again can only be possible with big black swarn effect and the chances of that happening is very small.

People don't know that they already took a huge risk looking out for the bottom without taking any actions, anyway they will be the ones buying the market price once we are above 80k.

It is a little difficult to conclude that the July low will be the bottom of this cycle but everything is pointing to that. If you notice, Bitcoin seems to have lost interest in returning to even below $70k because each time price retraces towards $75k, it bounces back to $80k. From the angel of technical analysis, such behaviour is typical of rejection that signals that the bulla are winning the war. Therefore, we can conclude that Bitcoin has already touched the bottom of this cycle in July.

Although, my analysis is telling me that Bitcoin won't go below the $58k low again, but despite that price is rejecting around the $75k level doesn't really mean that it won't dip below it, I still think price will go to $60k once again before it can finally start going up and not come down to that level again. I won't say that Bitcoin has actually lost interest to return below $70k like you said, buyers are defending that zone but if it got exhausted, definitely we are going to see price breaks below it.

Can someone DCA when they're buying Bitcoin not to hold but to trade because it's confusing me due to what I know is that DCA is a strategy for investing into Bitcoin and not a trading strategy. The moment you decide to start hodling and not cut your losses if you predicted wrongly and this holding it stays for long then you're now investing instead of trading. And if you keep on adding more Bitcoin to your current Bitcoin then to me that's being an investor which isn't wrong but I wouldn't say I'm trading. From the looks of things it looks likely that the bottom has been reached and we should be expecting the market not to returns to below $60k any more. We shouldn't be expecting the market to become so bullish but a consolation is good for the market to gain more buyers. Trading is different from investing and I think using stop loss is good to avoid losses but not adding more money to the trade unless you want to become an Investor not trader.

Fundamentally, it is extremely difficult to determine with certainty whether or not the price of Bitcoin has hit rock bottom. If you look at Bitcoin all time high from last year, the current price is quite attractive the market is in a bearish phase, so it would be wise for us to capitalize on this moment. This is a golden moment and opportunity for us to accumulate, rather than endlessly waiting for a specific target price. If you believe in this asset and intend to hold it for the long term, why wait to buy Bitcoin?

We think that if the law had been approved, the price would have already surpassed $80k, and we'd be thinking it could reach $85k. If it gives more morale and confidence to many investors, there are many whales who have doubts about BTC; they won't buy because of these uncertainties, and those are the people who need to be convinced. Only then will the price of BTC continue its upward trend.

We have to consider that when we're generating an opinion matrix here on the forum, many investors come in, read what we say, and perhaps seek more reassurance from people who talk about the asset daily.

I don't really agree with people who waiting for Bitcoin to hit the bottom or some specific price before they start buying. Honestly, if they end up having to buy higher because of that, it's kinda on them.

But I also don't agree with saying the bottom is already in just because Bitcoin suddenly pushed to $80k. Other than this recovery, do we really have any strong sign that can confirm the bottom is in?

From what I see, it's still 50/50 right now. Anything can happen, so having a backup plan isnt a bad idea.

The lowest so far this year and I think the record will remain same way except something triggers the market price, bitcoin price fall with a purpose likewise the rise and if we should expect something lower than the $58k range then obviously the market is experiencing some kind of pressure probably an event.
Nothing is predictable at the moment, presently the market is between the $70k-$80k range, there are a lot of predictions being made for the rest of the year but, from my observation the market might stay this range till whenever still the price might somehow go below $58k who knows but, not this year.

Yes, it's an investment. For me, it represents more than just that, because I don't do much trading myself; I just watch a lot of analyses that help me learn. But for me, it also represents a business decision, because I'm not one to jump into trading as much as many people do, especially with BTC, which is such an important currency. Trading a coin like this is recommended, but you need to know how to do it.

When you don't know much, it's better to play it safe, in my opinion.

The ultimate non partisan answer to this question is to count the number of major lower lows and lower highs vs the recovery in remaking the stair steps higher.  When we easily have exceeded the prior negative decline pattern then the bear case is completely disproven, before that it is speculative and forward projection reliant.

DCA into a negative decline in prices actually gains more then the idea of DCA into a bull market.  The long term objective is the same either way but you are getting money off the buys with the negative market, it is quite ironic.
You do need to be right on the longer term which is at least a year length imo and can be several really; usually an argument based not price at all but fundamentals like a rising user base for example.

The only thing left now to possibly crash Bitcoin to new lows is the war. If the war kicks off again next few weeks then Bitcoin will go down but it’s going to take something real bad now for us to see a new low below $58.5k now with Bitcoin currently back above $80k.

Many bears are sidelined hoping we were going down to $50k in October to buy then but October is now only 10 days away and that’s never going to happen now.

It might go back down to $70k or even $65k , but highly doubt it will go below the July $58.5k low now.

Sometimes Bitcoin can pump hard without any reason. It can dump just as hard without any particular reason too.

Remember how it dropped to $60k after hitting $126k in October 2025/10 without any special reason?

Idk if anyone is still sitting on the sidelines waiting for Bitcoin to hit some specific price before buying. But if they are, that's a pretty bad strategy, because nobody really knows where the market is gonna go.

October's usually seen as a bullish month, sure, but do not forget not every October in history has been green, especially during bear market year. So do not get too comfortable.

There is still a possibility that we will see levels below $58.5k, and $45,000 may be the lowest level, but since the price is holding above $75,000, this possibility is unlikely. So, unless something bad happens, $58.5k is the bottom, or at least close to the bottom, and there is a high probability that we will not fall below $45,000.
You are not far from the truth, anything can change the price of Bitcoin to fall below $50k because there is still a high level of uncertainty when it comes to the price of Bitcoin. Any major news or even political decision can alter the price even as we are seeing an increase in the price of Bitcoin after an extended dip period which has seen the price of Bitcoin below $60k for a long time before this current appreciation that we are seeing above $70k.

Even though the possibility of us seeing Bitcoin price back to $50 or even below we should not totally rule it out. Because Bitcoin price is highly unpredictive we have seen it happen over and over again.

I’m surprised Bitcoin has stayed at these levels for so long. I wonder if the prices we saw around $60,000 were the lows of this cycle. If so, I think Bitcoin has dropped very little. Compared to previous bear markets, we’ve seen almost nothing in this one. Most people’s expectations haven’t been met. There were also people waiting to buy Bitcoin below $50,000, and even below $40,000.
