Bitcoin - is the bear market bottom in?

How are we all feeling? Is the bottom in or not?

Look, we have a long way to go to get to the next job, so we can't call this short period of time a Bitcoin bull run. The current Bitcoin price has naturally improved, there will be more in the future, but this will be the most interesting because investors have shown more interest due to the untimely increase in Bitcoin prices. I think the Bitcoin price will reach an all-time high in the next Bull Run season and the price of half a million Bitcoins can reach it.
Because as time goes by, the possibility of a record Bitcoin price is emerging, so you must also hold Bitcoin before reaching this Bull Run season.

The current rise in Bitcoin is showing, during the real bull run, Bitcoin will go much higher. In fact, Bitcoin will go to a much higher level, the future is very possible. Bitcoin has increased by 12.5% ​​in the last 7 days, and the price of Bitcoin is currently at $86K. But when Bitcoin was at 58K 3 months ago, there may be many who panicked and sold Bitcoin, but even at that time, those who continued to invest in Bitcoin, and continue to buy Bitcoin, are currently in more profit, and this profit will continue to increase, it just needs to be maintained for a longer period. I can see it coming down to maybe $70k one last time? Would be a good time to buy if so. But overall, it feels like the worst is over now plus the fact is has now been exactly 1 year since the Bitcoin $126k high.

Many alts are now well outperforming Bitcoin too which is also good to see.

50/50, I have seeing some speculators that we will need to see one leg down this month of October before finally breaking into $90k. But so far, there are no signs that the market is going on a deep correction.

Specially that we close the month in another green candle of above 7%. As with that kind of monthly ending, usually the upcoming month is full of optimism. So for me, unless there is as negative news this month, I don't see the price coming down to $70k'ish.

I have seen it mentioned a few times we need Bitcoin dominance to fall to 55% for an altseason and it is still only at 59%.

Back in 2024, when Bitcoin kept making new ATHs and went above $100K, BTC.d was even below 55% at one point. But as you saw, there still was not some proper alt ss like everyone was expecting. Only a handful of alt really took off, while most of them couldn't even put in gains anywhere close to what Bitcoin did.

Stop dreaming about some alt ss. Just focus on alt with real potential and wait.

Is $58.5k we fell to early July the bottom for this bear market or do we have 1 leg lower?

We are nearly half way through September and I now feel the bottom is in as cant see how Bitcoin falls nearly $20k now to new lows from the current $77k unless something really bad happens next few weeks.

I do feel though that was can go back to the $65k range again to see a higher low and I'm actually hoping for that again to buy cheap one last time before bull run is here for next few years.

But currently it is hovering around $84k. Stay optimistic, you may see a bull run at any time and the price of Bitcoin will probably cross $100k within this month.

When the price dropped to $58k, I expected a breaker to go to $36k but due to the increase in demand for Bitcoin, the market did not go that low. The policy of whales holding Bitcoin is still ongoing and corporate holders are regularly buying Bitcoin and increasing their holdings.

My personal expectations are not very high although I have not allocated Bitcoin for short-term trading but I think it will take a few more weeks/month to reach the ATH level but I am a long term investor and I regularly accumulation Bitcoin of price decline or rise.

This month you expect Bitcoin price to Cross the $100k region, well I am not of the same class of thought that we can see such price in the month of October, since right the price of Bitcoin is already declining from the recently gain benchmark.

Na I wasn't expecting or speculating Bitcoin to drop to such extent, the lowest I thought Bitcoin could go was below $50,000, but it didn't get to that in the end.

My personal expectations are not very high although I have not allocated Bitcoin for short-term trading but I think it will take a few more weeks/month to reach the ATH level but I am a long term investor and I regularly accumulation Bitcoin of price decline or rise.

Long term investors don't have to border themselves with market volatilities most especially on short term basis like what we have right now.

Bitcoin always has enough potential and a chance of giving enough. I always have mind to stay here and enjoy this before having a good increase.
Right now it's staying on level, which is surely good for people to invest in and then wait for good profit. Alts need enough changes, which are not coming while scammers are doing their tactics for having money from newbies with their scam projects. It's been a long time since I have ever been in this, and I always encourage my fellows to avoid this.

The $82.2k support on the daily chart is pretty important. If Bitcoin can hold above it, uptrend could continue. But lose that level and Btc could slide toward $74k. If that happens altcoins could get hammered.

Hard to tell how far Btc will pullback before bouncing back but look like you might be right. Maybe we have already found the bottom this cycle.

Personally, I think $58.5k could end up being the cycle bottom. I wouldn’t rule out another drop, though. A move back toward $65k would actually make sense as a higher low and could shake out some late buyers before the next leg up.
If Bitcoin can hold above that area, I’d be more confident that the bear market is over. For me, the bigger risk now is not a massive new low, but missing the next bull move while waiting for a perfect entry.

We have very likely found the bottom at $58k in July. All those who were waiting for the October low because of the supposed 4 year cycle have now been sidelined hoping for $70k or below again to be able to get in, but im not sure if we go as low as $70k now.  If we do though, i will just buy more.

Either the 4 year cycle is still intact and we just bottomed 3 months early this time round, or it is now over and we see a new high for Bitcoin as early as next year.

Either way i am just glad that I did DCA during the summer lows to get the best prices.

Since 2013 , Bitcoin has had 13 full October with 10 ending green and 3 red . So saying October is usually bullish is fair,  but acting like October always pumps just isn't true. And here's the part most people skip, those red Octobers all showed up during bear market 2014 and 2018 .
Unfortunately, this is bear year. So don't be too quick to rule out another red October.

Not to mention, Bitcoin has already had 3 straight green months, 7, 8 and 9. So we should be even more cautious this month.

I get what you mean, but we just have different tastes when it comes to investing, tbh.

Us staying out of alts doesn't mean everyone else should too, and just because we can't make a profit from them doesn't mean others will end up with the same result.

People keep complaining there's no altseason like before. But did you know the ones who bought Sol under $10, Hype and a few alts with real potential made 5x, 10x or even 30x last cycle?
There are still plenty of opportunities in alts, they just don't all pump together like they used to. And yeah, alts are significantly riskier than Bitcoin.

Didn't expect the pullback to come this  fast tho. It even dipped to $80.3k before bouncing back to $82k while I was typing this.

BTW  don't forget what happened on 10/10/2025 . Bitcoin came crashing down from 122k to 105k in a short time and caused the largest liquidation event in crypto history , close to 20 billion dollars liquidated.
So we gotta be extra careful here. Do not get complacent thinking its Uptober so bitcoin will auto pump, and ignore everything else.

I do not believe in comparing the monthly history, anything can happen at any point. October could be red or green , no one knows.

I am expecting a red month like i said, the dip so far is nothing to be concerned about, it is normal after pumping so much last few months.

I am hoping it can fall down to somewhere between $72-75k though so we can buy some altcoins cheap again.

Bitcoin price can be very difficult to predict more especially within a very short period of time, but we are all sure of the future increase surpassing the previous all time high of 2025. As for the short term, I can't really predict if Bitcoin will still go below $58k. But do to market volatility, Bitcoin can still dip below it's present price now, but uncertain if it will go below $58k. When you go to these cryptocurrency platforms like coinmarketcap, coin gecko , coin telegraph etc, you will see different prediction about Bitcoin from people who are believed to be experts, but in many cases these predictions becomes speculation because it doesn't happen exactly the way they make their prediction. I think we have not gone into bull market yet, but this doesn't mean the price of Bitcoin will not increase, and at the same time we can equally see the price of Bitcoin decrease in price, but the exact price when it dips cannot be told.
