Choosing a small business of my own depends on how small the business is, (they say that two heads are better than one) partnership is not entirely bad you just have to choose the right partners but if I'm going to partner with anyone I would be the sole owner of the business and I will only need investors but I still get to make decisions without anyone interfering. The contract say that no one is allowed to leave during the down season and the business is still in the down season and also she didn't even obey the rules that say that four months should be given to others and she can't just pull out without a notice and at the wrong time.

Having good partners when starting a business is very important, and if you want to be successful in any business, do not choose a lady as one of your partners because a lady is not someone you should trust, a lady can wake up and decide to break up with her husband or partner, and you want to trust her in business? According to the story, the lady had no valid reason to ask for her money back because they were in a profitable business and her marriage would have no effect on the business, all she needed to do was focus on herself and quit the business for a while.

This is why I will not blame anyone who does not want partners in his business. No matter how many people want to partner with them, they will prefer to take out a loan or find someone who believes in them to invest in the business. I understand that anyone can change their mind, but whatever you do, do not partner with a lady, that gender is very dangerous.

I personally find partnership business a bit problematic. Especially if it is a small business and the financial condition of the partners is not good, then various problems can be faced in this type of business. Apart from the personal example you have given, problems create depending on the situation and then it becomes difficult to manage the business. If a new business is started and everyone has less experience, then everyone should give equal effort, but this is not happen in reality . And the biggest problem is when making decisions. When different opinions are formed, no one opinion can be given less importance. Because everyone has priorities there. That is why for me, even if the business is small or the funding is not huge , it is better to start alone. Because in that case, you are learning completely yourself, you will enjoy the profit after trying and giving effort yourself. If you have to make a decision, you can immediately manage the business accordingly. In any kind of business activity, family members and friends should not be taken as partners.

I would prefer everyone whoever is thinking of starting his/her own business. Be a boss of your own company and never do partnership or the results would be the same. Thankyou all for your attention!

I have alot of questions and I'm guessing you don't want to overshare and that's pretty much fine but like, wow, that's a lot to take in and considering the reason why she is pulling out, like to what I don't understand, is it that after he marriage, she intends not to work again or could she not just borrow from the company and pay back after her marriage, like so many questions.
I currently run a partnership and I understand this risk but thankfully the way it is ran, it is not dependent on just one person, it just functions as long as thier is someone around because I can't imagine building and one day because my partners leaves, everything just crumbles.
I wouldn't advise you sell the factory that's if it is giving you enough returns, if you have done your calculations and it is not profitable lol terms then selling it may be your best option. Wish you best of luck, stranger.

I personally find partnership business a bit problematic. Especially if it is a small business and the financial condition of the partners is not good, then various problems can be faced in this type of business.
Business negotiations between partners who are financial equals that is partners who have the same financial strength is very much different from business negotiation between partners who one is richer than the other and the poorer one is depending on the wealth from the rich one to run the business. It is only in the second situation where we find partnership to be more at a disadvantaged especially for the person with a lower capital but usually the person with the business idea because the terms and conditions for operating the business may be too stringent for them to make any proper profit from it.
The best partnerships are between people who have the same financial strength or influence, and negotiations often ends in terms and conditions that are equal for both party and both beneficial because in that situation each party understands the contribution that each other party is bringing and they value it because the purpose for the partnership is to increase profits which both partners are interested in. Regardless of the kind of partnership that you are engaging in you should do so within strong legal grounds and ensure that there are terms and conditions that guard your business against situations that can crumble your business especially if the original business idea is yours.

Having partners in a business is not an issue it provides multiple benefits. Partners help businesses grow faster and more easily because they bring more capital to the business and different partners have multiple skill and contact that can bring different ideas to table. The problem occurs when there is difference between written agreement and situations of partners. When there is no exact written exit plan for the partners whenever they want to leave the business because of their own personal preferences including life changes marriages.

If it is written in the agreement that a partner cannot leave the business when the season is down that means you are forcing them to be part of business. That can create other issues. A better approach is to have a proper exit plan that is written in the agreement that explains how partners can invest how they will get benefits, how their investment will be used and how they can exit whenever they want to. If you are running a business alone, that means you have to take all the financial risks and responsibilities by yourself.

With the right partners and people of liked minds, shared goals and objectives partnership could be a best form of business most especially for people that needs capital for their businesses. Coming together as reliable people to work in partnership brings more money that will help the business the strive. Also the partners will bring in their different opinions, strategies and experiences together that will help grow the business.
Sometimes we see that a sole proprietor can start a business and as time progresses, the business goes into partnership.

I would prefer to have a small business on my own because I'm confident that with time, it will grow to the level I want it to reach, though there are some people I would consider good potential partners. I have always believed that in life, if one wants to keep their friendships intact, they should avoid going into business together because it can create conflict between them. But since I cherish my peace of mind, I will ensure that I apply the right principles to help my business grow, even though achieving my dream will take patience.

We know that any work and business in partnership creates problems at some point or another. So I think before starting a business, you have to prepare yourself in such a way that even if it is a small business, it is best to start it yourself personally. There is no problem here, there is no opponent.
Whenever there are several partners in a business, at the time of starting it, everyone will behave well and they will relate to everything, but after a while, you will see what kind of trouble has arisen. As a result, if one wants his money back, the other will be angry and there will be quarrels at various stages, which will lead to more business loss and loss of money.
So it is best to start any business personally. I never like partnership business, but I think it will be better to start a business even if it takes more time by raising money by yourself. It is best to be the owner of the company yourself. It is best to refrain from partnership while starting any business. There will be no problem here, everything is your own decision.

There are some businesses, especially small-scale businesses, you can start with a very low amount, and it is something you can do alone. While some businesses may require you to partner with someone to make them work, this is not just because of finances; you also need to collaborate with someone who knows it better, and this is the essence of it.

In businesses that involve partnerships, the terms and conditions are supported legally, and whatever arises in the future will be handled without any disputes, so you don't need to worry about this. Many businesses of successful entrepreneurs involve partnerships.

There is a need to put some clause for how long a partner should hold the shares before they are allowed to sell it. This is either a pros or cons in having a partnership business. Because you'll never know when they're going to sell their shares when they have seen the business either sinking or profiting. If you're going to have your own business, don't open it for any partnership. And don't make it look to others that having a partner is bad. Depending on the partner, they can also be part of your network which makes them as part of your net worth.

I think you made a very very valid reason in initiating a clause in the contract for a duration before one can sell because selling can tank a business especially if the person is a major shareholder. A lot of people will say partnership business is bad but I don't think any big Companies out there are doing it solely, there must be minority shareholders.

I have always been on the opinion that you can always start the business solely then after having the experience and knowledge, diversity into partnership with the right advise.

I think if you have a small business that you own, that is best because you can hire employees who are capable of doing work for you and you should not hire people are relatives of you because they will damage your work and your relationship will be weak when you gave him task and they will take it easy and you will get less results from them. If you have a business and you have partners, then there will be conflict in the future because one of them will scam and try to take some extra money from the business money, and that is mutual money, but he will try to take some extra money. I saw many businesses flop for this reason, as partners want to take out money from business and they want to get rich fast. If you have separate businesses, then that is best and don't try to involve any person in that.

Having a personal and small business is more better than partnership business that involves a lot of people. In small business you have your own decisions and do what pleases you than big business with many people. Many business I know that involves many people have crashed because of lack of mutual understanding. Decision is often problem that's why I dislike it and will never advice anyone to go into it.
The only advantage I see in such business is that since it involves many people it can not just crashed like that because there source of income is coming from different powerful people, The backup is strong .
