IEO, IDO were a lot of hype in 2020-21 and at that time a lot of good profit was made by investing in such projects. But since then, those who invested in such projects have made maximum big losses. Every concept in the crypto world has hype for a certain period of time and after that hype is over, those who invest in them make big losses. And now, just as people are losing money after new projects come to the market, investors are losing faith in new projects.

I don’t even think it’s going to be possible to hold for long term if you don’t have emergency funds.

If you are planning to hold, make sure you first build your emergency funds, at least have some money which is going to be kept for emergency, you don’t have to invest that money, because some people do make mistake by investing the money at the end. If there is no emergency case, don’t touch the money.

I also believe that sometimes people will start increasing the investment amount just because they see the market price going up.  When everyone is excited, it becomes easy to get tempted to invest more than you can afford, but excitement is not enough reason to go above what you can comfortably afford.  To me, it's better to have a budget and stick to it than to follow whatever is going on in the market.

It’s better to stick to the strategy which you are using. I do encourage people to make use of DCA strategy, so even if bitcoin price is increasing, don’t rush to invest everything which you are having with you.
