Donald Trump seems to be controlling the cryptocurrency market, solemnly trying to control everything because he has so much power that whatever actions and statements he makes immediately impact the cryptocurrency market, we’ve seen new ATH in the cryptocurrency market, this ATH we saw was under Donald Trump, currently when you look closely at the market you will understand that we’re currently in a bear market which gives buyers that opportunity to buy more cheaper, I believe we are going to have a new ATH under Trump again, whenever Donald Trump speaks about cryptocurrency we always see the cryptocurrency market making moves.

With the creation of Donald Trump's meme coins and all involvement into the crypto space. Has this made the space better or worse?
Did it make the reputation of the entire crypto space more positive or more negative?
As it was something many years ago that people did want governments to get involved in crypto for adoption.

Was this the wrong approach? Wrong type of government to do this?

Explain your thoughts on all this.
If we consider the spread of crypto and the government's support, then Trump is positive for crypto, but that does not mean that every step he takes with crypto is selfless. These two issues need to be considered separately.

When everyone had long expected a positive view of the government on crypto to increase its use and adoption, he was the first head of government to make a positive statement on crypto, which led to the creation of a regulatory framework and an initiative to increase the opportunities for legitimate businesses, and it was a revolutionary initiative for the entire industry. And I think that having clear rules can reduce some of the uncertainty for legitimate institutions and ordinary investors. However, one thing to consider here is that Trump's support for crypto is not the same as supporting the ideals of Bitcoin's decentralization, financial freedom and control of users' own assets.

Well, he is one of the strongest and powerful man on earth, many people around the world look out for what they do and since he shown people that he is interested in cryptocurrcency, his actions is going to affect the market. I don't have problems with been an influence to the markets, everyone does it but the path he followed is what I don't really like. He has the potential to make crypto a better place but of all coins, he launch a meme coin that is now worthless.

I watched a video of his interview yesterday when a reporter asked him if he was going to sell his Bitcoin, that didn't go well. I don't like him but I was impressed with his reply that the reporter asked a stupid question and that serves her right. Why ask such questions that could have influenced the market and people will later hold him responsible, he seems ready for reporters all the time. Grin

Trump doesn't control the market. With the power he has, all he can really do is cause short term moves in the market for his own personal gain.

we’ve seen new ATH in the cryptocurrency market, this ATH we saw was under Donald Trump, currently when you look closely at the market you will understand that we’re currently in a bear market which gives buyers that opportunity to buy more cheaper, I believe we are going to have a new ATH under Trump again, whenever Donald Trump speaks about cryptocurrency we always see the cryptocurrency market making moves.

That's true, but BTC printing ATH during Trump's term doesn't mean he's the reason price went up.

Bitcoin pumped millions of times over under Obama (2009-2017), so are we gonna say that was thanks to Obama too? Come on.

If Bitcoin hits another ATH before Trump leaves office, it just means Bitcoin hit an ATH during his presidency. It doesn't mean Trump was the reason it happened.

Bitcoin is influenced by a lot of factors, from capital inflows and institutional demand to macroeconomic conditions...

whenever Donald Trump speaks about cryptocurrency we always see the cryptocurrency market making moves.

At the beginning of his presidency, the cryptocurrency market did indeed react sharply to almost any statement he made. However, that is no longer the case. Over the past year, he has made numerous controversial statements and has sometimes changed his position on a given issue within a matter of days. So, personally, I get the impression that traders and investors have grown tired of these swings and have stopped taking every one of Trump's statements seriously.

Actually Trump's involvement has both positive and negative aspects. People are discussing and reading about cryptocurrency and Bitcoin as a result of his involvement, but his meme coins also cause enough harm. He earns millions, but this coin caused many people to lose their money and trust. His actions are motivated by personal interests, which will undoubtedly have an impact on cryptocurrency over time.

Bitcoin undoubtedly has a few advantages simply because it has never been dependent on any one person's influence, but overall, cryptocurrency has a variety of features that always work through influence. His family has made good use of its authority, but things are getting interesting because market sentiment is improving. Hopefully, this will enable people to trust cryptocurrency and make more investments, which will end the bear market in the long run.

Yeah, I think Donald Trump has been vocal on crypto and recently he’s been extensively spoken highly about the crypto industry. For once I think he’s shifted from being skeptical to a major promoter or should I say player in the crypto world. Many people have criticized some of the high profile coins being launched band are tied to Trump tokens that couldn’t meet expectations and that’s why i always say that the crypto world isn’t tied to an individual as there are so many other factors that can influence how it plays out and for that it’s not about Donald Trump making it worse or better, it’s just the nature of cryptocurrencies to move the way they do.

This doesn't deny the fact that Donald Trump is using the crypto to show some interest to one of the major topics in debate just like he is supporting community. While he is in fact making big profit out of it in his shitcoins projects after using it in his electoral campaign.

Today the debate in the USA is about midterm elections, which the time for Trump to re-use the crypto debate again while try to deviate the attention from the big lose in Iran war.
Surprisingly since midterm is nearing, Trump didn't really talk about crypto too much, I would have expected him to talk about crypto for midterm but so far there's nothing. Maybe he's done with it and have made enough profit and decided that it's not worth it anymore. There is even this news that discuss about how young male crypto fans has turned against trump.

Maybe everyone have finally figured out that what they got isn't what they expected. We were expecting better rules, even startegic reserve and what we getting is Trump's family run WLFI and meme coins.

I guess that news updates from the other side of the world are most important to discuss about than making more blatant lies. The midterm elections this time comes with an unexpected situation for Trump administration who thought he can index Greenland and Panama straight, with fighting Iran and put end to the Russian Ukrainian war.

A strategic plan for more crypto adoption should come with new reforms and suggesting new laws. But it becomes clear that Trump wasn't that serious from the beginning and that Republicans share the same attitude towards cryptocurrencies with Democrats. A national reserve in crypto was a joke.

ok so here's the deal: trump is consolidating wealth. tariffs, kickbacks, pressure on the public/corporate for favors, crypto, X, etc. he is making himself a single point of failure for the whole economy so that he or his anointed have to be reelected for all the systems he's consolidating to survive. we must make a break. it's now or never.
