A true believer of the Christian fellowship would not reason this way as you do and I hope this discussion does not call for criticism because I am aware that there bad been this religious war that condemns other religions while those especially that practices the preaching of the Gospel by the teaching of the Bibles are victims of this religions criticism.

However, those so called resources you claimed the Europeans stole/took from the African lands is a misconception rather, it was idols (image) which our ancestors worshipped in reference to their maker (God Almighty) that is said to be taken away from the lands in other to teach us (Africans) the true gospel in regards that we have only one true God which was demonstrated true the existence of Jesus Christ's miraculous performance and his resurrection.

There came the 10 commandments included the passage that said thou shall not worship other God except thee which our ancestor worshiping of the images was against the law.

I grew up to meet my grandpa and as an African, he advised us his children not to worship idols which are the images you said the Europeans took because, it has it side of evil practices.
I am not trying to troll as I also understand that we have our different ways of religious beliefs while some are Atheist.

This historical double standard is precisely why the continent of Africa is still in a struggling position and still fighting hard to catch up with other developed parts of the globe economically. Who knows; maybe at then, there were no sophisticated devices to discover some of these abundant mineral resources the way we have them today, being easily discovered; moreover, even if this is all about the fact that they did it, was it not in trade for their minerals, while they offered them education and other social amenities they needed to enjoy their lives? Yes Africans should allow the europeans to return to manage their countries due to the fact they are inherently incompetent. Look what happened to Zimbabwae and South Africa after their independence.

Look at Rwanda, Congo ...look at Nigeria with all the natural resources available to them while say Norway for example has a social system that feeds even African migrants, Nigeria cannot even take care of its own population or Ireland with no resources and having been colonised itself is one of the wealthiest countries on earth who send millions of euros to Africa in aid each year and have thousands of Nigerians and other africans living off their social welfare systems getting free education, housing and money.

I believe so, something is wrong with Africans i know a lot has happened in the past when we were not yet born but through reading and history we were able to know how Africans were treated but it still surprises me how most Africans haven't come to their rights senses to know Africa can still be like the europe if our resources are been used in Africa to develop the continent, but they use our resources to develop other countries around the world, the lies we were told i think most of us are coming to our senses by making a reunion to what our forefathers left behind that was abandoned.

OP your making a strong statement and with the little history I've read, it was recorded that some missionaries came with the slave traders, and some persons even argue that in the Church of England they had a bunker behind or under the church that were having slaves inside of it. So the first Europeans that came to Africa did not only come for slave trade, some of them came with religion too, about taking African resources to Europe, you might also have a strong argument there but, this particular incident has happened over 100 years ago and Africa today are ones ruling themselves now, why haven't they been able to develop themselves and create wealth for themselves.

Good question without a question mark though, I have heard of history but I don't take serious any more since we still have enough natural resources in Africa, especially in Nigeria, what have we achieved with all of it, there's nothing to show for it, we are still running around, no development, our leaders are worst than those missionaries, whether the deceitful move our Gold and whatever their country, I don't think we should see that as a problem again, because we don't know what happened then, the lies are becoming too much, what can Nigeria boast of since we had our independence, our oil has been sold for many years, we still can't point at any development, this talk suppose don tire us, because nothing the leaders wey dey now the do with the resources wey dey now.

This is Africa, but the Saxon Wars and the Massacre of Verden was about something related to Germany and not Africa. Did you know that in Nigeria for example, there were missionaries that established churches and schools already before the colonial rules..

The problem African countries had was that they did not have a religion. Why did the colonizers not make Christianity compulsory in the Northern part of Nigeria if it was forced? The North were Muslims at the time.
