I am saying this through the world I am coming from because every government including the developed countries make sure that their citizens live well and also have work to do while they taxed them and gradually deducts their payment. In that they have good healthcare, road, electricity and many more, if your country are not offering these things how would you feel. Do you think there are something you are missing and you would wish to go abroad just to make sure you have the type of life you want to live today?

Even if your country is not providing all this things for you but you are working and earning a lot of money in your country I don't think going to abroad for the reason to have all this things is necessary because with those good earning you could afford any good healthcare of your choice in your country or perhaps you want to live in a place with good road and every other things that would make you comfortable, of course with your money you could still afford a house in the places that has those amenities there because surviving is not as simple as we always draw it in staying abroad because is not your country and there would be so many limitations you would face, except you want to travel because of how completely unfavourable your country has been to you.

I have my hope that my holdings will shoot up and gives me enough to retire. Not right now but somewhere in the future and so I won't have to go somewhere that has a better economy.

I think wherever I go, each country has its own struggle on their own economies even the richest countries.

They're all experiencing higher rents, higher inflation and almost everything. Although some are coping and able to slow down the inflation but, there's no perfect country IMO.

It is a famous saying here, that if you want peace, then wait for death. Although people who are rich, they can't have any issues because the rich and elites class has always made their own societies and small communities where the rates of houses are normally starting from millions.

In my country, thousands have left to make a good living, they are going all over the world where they can earn better, but they make one wrong mistake, they never plan to prepare their life there, they always want to go back, so they send money back, they don't save.

The government of each country levies taxes according to the amount of benefits it provides to its citizens. It levies taxes in one category for citizens living in cities and in another category for citizens living in rural areas. If citizens do not receive citizen benefits under the overall tax imposed by the government, then you cannot go against the government and collect much benefit. If the citizens of the area where you live collectively apply to a responsible representative of the government for an increase in citizen benefits, the government can resolve the matter if it wants. Most poor countries do not provide government benefits, so citizens migrate abroad. Many people give up their citizenship in order to earn money and get the promise of a better life. Personally I want to go abroad if I get enough benefits.

Talking about abroad, sometimes having a better life abroad doesn’t mean the country is bad. A country can not have everything like yours. If your potentials worths better somewhere it’s okay to go there.

We as individuals sees and think differently because their are some people that will never have the thought of relocating to a foreign country even though life is winning them 6-0. Some people have that mindset that if they can switch to a better country, their life would be better, such type of people, they don't believe that they can still have a better life here, so it's more of the mindset, because I believe that if you are actually productive, you can still be able to live a good life in your country, but if you are unproductive as a person, you can still not grow rich even though you live in a country like US that have everything in place for their citizens to succeed.

Why would you prefer to stay and stuffer in your country? If maybe there's an opportunity outside your country and you have all the requirement that will allow you to travel to that other country to embrace the opportunity, will you not go for it? To be honest, those who run the state in my country are corrupt. They embezzle tax money from the people's tax money to fill their own pockets instead of developing the country. In my country, approximately 18 crore population and 90 percent of the families here pay taxes to the government. In that case, if the government had worked for the development of the country through proper management of this tax money, my country could have turned itself into a developed country today.
The development of the country with tax money is the right of every citizen because they are paying taxes to the government considering the development of the country, no one pays taxes thinking about someone's personal interests.

By nature, the human being is always seeking for greener pasture, that is why there has been movement of people, what we call Exodus, an outbreak or pandemic can happen now, and you will see people relocating from that location to another place. Even in the Bible, it was recorded that the children of Israel moved from Egypt to the promised land that God promised them. So the movement of people in seeking for a better life didn't start today, it is a natural phenomenon, if the country you are currently staying isn't economically suitable for you and you have means to go to a better location, then why not, you just have to follow through the official route, so you don't become an illegal person in another man's country.

A good economy is connected to good and fair governance, if your government is providing you with all the important and basic necessities of life like education, health, security, employment, fair tax system and controlling inflation than your economy is helping you which is a total dream scenario. That is why people want to leave such countries to go abroad and find a better lifestyle for them. I live in a country that is actually rich in natural resources, but because the government is corrupt, public services can be said to be unsatisfactory, like healthcare, infrastructure, job security and many other things that the government seems to fail to provide. I could say that with abundant natural resources and seeing the taxes paid to the government, the benefits received are not really proportional.

But comparing it to developed countries that are relatively better at providing basic facilities, in my opinion, is also a natural feeling and often becomes a motivation to consider moving, especially if job opportunities or quality of life there are much better. However, sometimes the decision to go abroad in search of the life we want doesn't turn out as we imagine. Because even in developed countries, there are many challenges like high living costs, fierce competition, and systems that still demand citizen contributions through taxes. So sometimes we really feel that being abroad is better than our own country, even though that's just an illusion because almost every country including developed ones, faces inflation pressure, rising rents and similar challenges. It's better to focus on building long-term assets in our own country it’s more realistic than chasing the illusion of countries that look better.

It's always corrupt- whoever official you vote for in a higher position, and most of them are actually just doing it for money and power. Your words point to corrupt countries where everyone, including political leaders and government officials, are using their positions to waste tax money before it is returned to the people through corruption. As a result, the money needed to ensure the basic needs of the people is never available. Even after paying taxes, the people have to meet their needs by spending their own pocket money for any service, in those countries, basically no benefit is obtained by paying taxes.

Rather, the people do not get the desired services and cannot fulfill their basic needs even after spending their own money. Later, the only solution becomes to leave the country and try to reach a developed country or to depend on other countries for some service. Most of the time, those problems are seen in third world countries, where corruption is rampant.

The country's economy will have a direct impact on its citizens, my developing country also provides the same thing, health and public facilities and tax cuts, there are things that make the free services provided by the government unequal, they are not really carried out properly, especially in the health sector, they usually prioritize public payments, even so I don't want to go to a developed country because in developing countries I get almost complete freedom, maybe I won't get that in developed countries

You have my point and that is what I am actually looking to have people talk about, if we take for instance our country Nigeria you would see that we have a very bad Governance and our leaders doesn't care about developing our country instead they preferred going to abroad to have a better life while leaving people in our country to suffer.
Truth be told, everyone loves their country but due to bad governance and leadership we often see people leaving their countries to another just to have a better life over there and possible they are offering good employment with a better paying offers.

I think your country Nigeria is very weak in terms of living conditions and economic base of the people due to corruption, policy situation and economic crisis. In fact there are many countries whose citizens are migrating abroad mainly to improve their economic conditions because their country's currency inflation is high and there are few job opportunities, but we can assume that even if some countries have the ability to improve the lives of their citizens, corruption destroys that opportunity.

The main thing is that the success of a country depends on the leadership of a government. OP you may have noticed  the World Bank noted that while the inflation rate in Nigeria decreased slightly in 2025, the poverty rate increased to about 63%. the bottom line is that the citizens of this country need to create jobs Then it seems they will get basic amenities and they will be able to create a source of income.

It is to ensure that its people have access to employment. A good state is characterized by a self-reliant population, and the state does not treat its people as objects for business purposes.

That used to be the case. But it’s no longer true because I’ve changed my mindset in terms of how I view and interpret how I should live my life.

Leaving your country is the last option, because when you feel exhausted and beaten by the government again and again just because you asked for your rights, so you fuck this and let's move out of this place. That's exactly happening in many countries, and I won't name them, but you can search haha.

It is even happening here, the roads were made by taking loans, but the tax money is being used for personal favors and projects that are bringing revenue without being taxed.

Trying your luck in other countries means that it gives us the opportunity to boost our economy individually, sometimes our country and other countries have different currency values, such as Bangladesh and Malaysia, It is not surprising that we see in Malaysia many Bangladeshis, they want to try their luck to change their lives from an economic and financial perspective and so do other countries.

Like China, economically they are not lacking, be it health facilities, cost of living and so on, but generally in every country there are Chinese people, generally trading.
