Entitlement is crazy. It is like people think that everything is easy and if you try at all you automatically get to succeed.
We are now living in a world where people feel entitled to things they never worked for, just imagine, siblings, parents, wives and girlfriends now feel entitled to things they never contributed to simply because they have some kind of relationship with the person who worked hard to earn it. I just don't understand why some people feel they have the right to enjoy the fruit of your labour without considering the sacrifices you made to get where you are today. People should go and work for their own money and stop feeling entitled over another person's own.
Entitlement mentality is bad no matter who it is, but then there are people who we genuinely own a level of care at least until a certain stage of their lives and those are our children. They are duly entitled to parental care until they reach the adult age which is when they're no longer entitled to any form of parental care except you choose to give further care.
Parents are divinely entitled to their children's care at old age, a child may directly give the care or get the aged parents to old people's home. Wives too are entitled to basic care from their spouse at some stages of not all stages of their marriage but not luxury, the basic lifestyle.
Entitlement mentality comes fully when it's girlfriend or siblings expecting to reap where they did not sow. That's the level I kinda have issues with. Such person can either ask or go find work and not pulling up dramas when he's not getting the treatment he's expecting just because he assumes that someone else is wealthy.
