People get lazy nowadays so if you wanted to seek an information on the internet they just wanted the summary or the key points only in the news they dont need a story and to waste time just to read the whole story only wanted is to check if the team's performance will be affected or the player itself so they keep updated and also if you are active in sports betting it's an edge too to your bet to have a good high odds.

I don't think gambling sites need long-form articles, but they probably appreciate them when it paints them in a positive light.  I think people in these parts are typically looking for someone to co-sign for a gambling operation.  That is why signature campaigns are so popular.  When you have seen the same advertisements worn by reputable people for a long time, you get a sense that the casino is doing right by it's customers.  I think that says more than any article can.

That’s a fair point. If an article exists mainly to validate a casino, it starts looking more like promotion than useful content. For me, long-form only makes sense when it adds something a short review cannot — technical details, data, comparisons, or context. Would you still see value in that format if the article also covered weaknesses and not only the positive side?

As for me, I don't like to read long articles claiming to offer deep brand and product analysis. It seems they're articles written purely for SEO purposes. I don't even believe those who write them really know and understand what they're talking about. They probably didn't even try the services themselves. Perhaps many of such articles are coming from poorly paid content writers from faraway countries.

Even review sites are obviously just promoting affiliate links.

I'd rather focus on actual user reviews and short feedbacks, especially on forums and discussion sites.

I completely agree with you. No gambler is going to read long, drawn-out articles. They look at news reports about the casino, read comments from other gamblers who have played there, and decide whether or not to use the site based on that.
The most important factor is the speed and ease of depositing and withdrawing money. If a site offers that, a gambler will use it.
Let's say we win a large sum of money: does the site pay out immediately, or does it make things difficult for the gambler by demanding a mountain of paperwork and imposing burdensome requirements? That is also a crucial point.
