Well I bought some Limecoin, @ 0.00005 on the exchange. And I know some think that is way too cheap.
I haven't mined any just spent BTC which I paid for with Fiat.
However I am a little concerned about the future of the coin. The coin may be very good but that doesn't mean it will succeed. I think, people need to be educated about the coin. Yet, when I put an order in to buy some here were not too happy as my bid seemed a little low.

So I asked if it could be explained why Limecoin was different to or better than say HIC (which was just an example.)

So I think it's reasonable to ask those who like this coin to explain why they do like it. And i'm asking in a friendly way.
Would someone be able to say why they like it?

maybe the devs can more answer, but from what it is explained, here are the main ideas:

and from what i see, technically speaking for now, hiro and lime are quite similars ...
we'll see in the future what updates makes them more and more different

both (aswell as darkcoin) have a HUGE advantage for this summer ... cool temperatures !!
and a economical/ecological improvement for you and your electricity bill
both are also asic resistant  (asic resisant yes, but not forever ...) so CPU/GPU friendly !!

8MH/s would get you about 250 Lim/day according to pool stats @ Okaypool.  I've mined 1100 Lim since launch with 9MH/s (4x 280x) on OmarG's P2P pool though, so might be better for you to head over there.
