I don't know how Litecoin (LTC) would perform in the next bull market so I can't categorically say whether it's still a good investment or not. But since Litecoin (LTC) is currently trading at $69, if you have money to spare you can start buying Litecoin (LTC) with DCA maybe in the upcoming bull market if Litecoin (LTC) eventually increases to $100 plus you will be in profit.
Obviously, you cannot tell how many other projects will perform in the next bull run. Litecoin is one of the majority of top altcoins that are highly correlated with Bitcoin to perform during the bull run, if Bitcoin pumps, Litecoin follows. Anybody investing in Litecoin now will not lose when Bitcoin pumps, but LTC potential is highly tied to Bitcoin performance, so rather it is best to consider Bitcoin instead of Litecoin.

The fact that litecoin is moving do the opposite direction. The first picture is clearly telling us how litecoin is always weakning against bitcoin. It has 350x ratio against bitcoin, which is far worsen than last years.

To be a great investment like bitcoin, it has to follow bitcoin's movement. So let's focus on the 2nd picture, which is showing how litecoin's annual return is just too far away compared with bitcoin.

I'm still questioning why people are still calling litecoin as a silver when the statistics and data are saying the opposite. For me, it's not an asset that is worth to hold.

There's nothing you can expect from a coin that has its creator dumped its own coin.

Litecoin is called "Silver to Bitcoin's Gold" because of its reliability. Limited supply is another fact. But the main one is reliability. Especially when compared to other cryptocurrencies. Rival chains are newer, and widely unproven. Consider how Solana has been a victim of constant network outages in the past. Litecoin has been steadily running since day one (AFAIK). Not only it's reliable, but it's also fast and cheap to use.

If you want the added scarcity with the security and reliability of Bitcoin, Litecoin would be your only answer. Not Solana, not BNB, nor TRON. Ethereum comes close, but it's now more centralized than ever with the switch to PoS. These are strong reasons for anyone to invest into LTC. It's up to you to decide whenever it's a good investment or not. Just keep "hodling".

One interesting thing about Litecoin is that it had these enormous spikes in the past up to 400$ or so, but when you compare the support line of the bottoms of the bear markets, they increase constantly.

Which means that if you bought at bear market bottoms, it always was a good investment, even if it lost traction against Bitcoin:

The green line is the "support bottom". It was at slightly below $40 in 2020, and is now close to $60. Not a massive gain, but contrary to the belief that it "loses all the time", it's not that bad.

Above all compared to a lot of other altcoins. I'm surprised to see people defending SOL here which is currently more than 60% down from its 2025 top, and also failed to score a convincing ATH in 2025 (like Ethereum).

It's worth noting that a similar rising support level formed at the bottom of the ZEC chart before it skyrocketed. Although there are no other indications that LTC might perform like ZEC did, purely on a speculative level, I wouldn't rule it out. After all, it's not uncommon for altcoins to suddenly skyrocket when people least expect it.

If you treat Litecoin as a trading instrument only, then it is better to stick on bitcoin, following your reasoning. But when it comes to utility, I think Litecoin is no less important than the major cryptocurrencies in the utility market. In addition to its solid blockchain with fast network to manage with transactions and cheap network, Litecoin has been also a pioneer in the privacy space. After the latest update, by integrating with an additional layer of privacy, the mimblewimble protocol, Litecoin joined the club of privacy coins. Now it can be used in almost full anonymity.

It is true that most altcoins are influenced by Bitcoin, and altcoin market as whole still depend heavily on how BTC perform.

But I don't buy that LTC or any other alt is 100% correlated to Bitcoin . The upside of a coin is really determined by its demand and its ability to draw capital inflows by itself.

So it's not as simple as BTC going up and LTC following suit . At the end of the day, does LTC have enough potential to deliver solid returns or not?

Litecoin is still useful for making transactions with lower fees and it gain some trust from users overs years. Although those things doesn't always make a coin good for investment where new projects keep offering more advanced technology. Litecoin has dropped around 13% in this October which shows a down trend and  it makes me think twice before investing in it. Someone can feel free to invest but being a reliable old coin doesn't always mean it will always bring us good returns.
