I really like Litecoin; I’ve always used it for sports betting, and I prefer to hold my winnings for the long term but only when the price is around $50. If, however, I see that the price of Litecoin has become too high, I convert all the Litecoin I’ve earned from sports betting into USDT. This is because I don’t believe Litecoin will ever reach its previous all-time high again, you don’t need to think too hard to realize that just look at the chart.

Look at this photo to see the stark contrast between past prices for instance, back in 2018 and the current price of just 0.000737 BTC. It’s a staggering difference; over time, LTC has only been losing value. The only reason its dollar-denominated price hasn’t fallen below $10 is that Bitcoin is currently trading at $82,900. But let’s hypothesize: if the price of Bitcoin were to drop sharply tomorrow say, to $10,000 then, at the current rate of 0.000737 BTC, Litecoin would be worth only $7. Yes, you read that right: $7. That is precisely why I have no intention of "HODLing" Litecoin for the long term. I buy in when the price is around $50 and sell if it reaches $100 or $140. Last year, Litecoin hit $135, but only because Bitcoin had surged significantly. Following that logic, one could predict that if Bitcoin were to reach $124,000, Litecoin would reach $135.
