Business is of different categories, there are people whose skills are their business, Craftsman with some natural talent most at time survive and feed very well with their skills such could be seen as business on its kind , though may not invest in any platform to make money but are patronize by people in need of their products. Not everyone will do business some employee has no time for business mostly one whose salary is capable of solving his basic needs, may be too calculative on the stress on some business end up not doing any, I see business as what is capable of providing one basic needs for instance some agric farmers are able to be satisfying their need through their products and many patronize them business, not all business is buying and selling some are producers who sells and it's business though my stake on view to this question.

Actually this question is a bit weird knowing that lot of people are looking for a diverse way of earning an income, whereby they would be looking for business to do in other to sustain themselves. But one question I keep asking is that “must everyone venture into business“?
The extent to which a business grows depends on the business idea itself. If the idea is merely about survival, then the business will hit a ceiling at that level. I mean, it is easy to come up with an idea for a simple business, but it is fundamentally difficult to pursue opportunities for significant expansion. Conversely, there is always a risk of decline. Take, for instance, an app or web building service (limited by manpower) or a restaurant (limited by physical space).

I totally agreed with you because when people think about business or how they should be having an alternative means of income would keep ringing in their heart because they felt that it’s so easy to handle business to maturity. The main thing there is to have the ability to nurture the business till it grows, but some people may not have that zeal, patient to hold on to what they have ventured into due to lack of passion, patient and ability to sustain that particular business to grow within the stipulated period which they had in mind for the business to grow. Of course, business are also determined on who is handling the business, some people have that star of running a business, some could be communication skills, and also having good relationships with your customers, all these are meant to be considered before thinking of joining a business.
Very true. Patience is definitely needed when you are running a business and especially when the business is relevantly new. Building relationships with customers, distributors, delivery agents etc... and having a good negotiation skill is absolute must in a business. We have to give it the time it requires to bloom just like a flower. If you cut it off without it blooming then you have just wasted all your time in it.

Everybody need not venture into business and we should also know that is not everybody that business might favour and that it is not everybody that might make it through business or become successful although anyone can do business. People should not be of the mindset that because A and B does business and it's working out for them you then rush into it without proper knowledge and guidance of what business you wish to venture into entails. Business is just a way to make money, make earns and become wealthy and definitely not everybody will venture into business as they are other things one can do to make money and build good lives. Business entails alot and for one to be a successful businessman or woman, he or she must have looked out for all the things needed to make that business become a success. Be it the necessary skills, business plans, ideas, being able to manage money, people and risk, staying consistent and communicating well. Also most importantly is Patience. Patience is a very big virtue when going into business because you might not always get your returns or profits immediately as expected.

How can someone who knows business very well still fail at it. You know something well and still failed woefully. That simple means that the person doesn't know what he is doing. Changing of businesses anyhow might even be the problem. There must be a very strong reason for you to close a business and start another one. And there is no way you will tell me that several closed businesses means there's a strong reason to change.

Business is not a guarantee of financial stability for everyone and not everyone gets success through it. Of all, some really get success in business, specifically, they gain success in freelancing and other professional skills. Why do people change businesses after a short time if it does not pay back? I think it's a foolish decision made by any official because ups and downs are a part of business, but to leave a previous business and starting a new one is not safe. The reason is that, first of all, we should identify our mistakes in business, then we improve them and then get results. But when we start a new business we have no idea about the depths of this business, but when we understand it, then we make proper plans and management for the business. The actual cause of business failure is poor management. If we can control it, then our business becomes successful.

Not everyone can work in trade. Trade requires special skills, and these are not available to everyone. Therefore, everyone should pursue work that they feel comfortable with and are proficient in.
Just because a business is profitable doesn't mean everyone should work in it. There are many other professions that people can work in and achieve success in. My advice to everyone is to work in the profession they love only, because loving the profession is what makes them achieve success in it.
I'm with the idea that people should go after work they are comfortable with and actually good at. Don't jump into a field just because you see someone else doing well or because everyone says it is good one. However, I don't think simply doing what you love is enough to make you successful. Loving your work can definitely give you more motivation, but success takes more than that. Effort's necessary but not sufficient, you also need actual skill, ability to adapt, market condition working in your favor... Sometimes, what you love isn't necessarily what's best for building career. I agree with you that what you love is not necessarily the most suitable way to build a successful career, but people often succeed in the work they love, I am speaking from my personal experience here. I looked for many jobs, And I worked in many different jobs Whether in the real world or online, but I only succeeded in the field of computers and crypto because I truly loved it.

Some times when people failed in business it doesn't mean that they don't actually know what they are doing, life is full of uncertainties and something no matter how smart and knowledgeable you are, you can be taken by an unforseen situation that can set you back in your business, no business is completely risk free and why even when you know what you are doing anything can still happen. Changing of business is not completely bad but doing it anyhow can only show how unserious such person is.

It either lack of prior study or lack of patience or both. Not everyone is made for business but everyone should learn to do the business in right way. Before you start a business, you should look for customers, your business strategy should be to acquire and retain most customers. If your business have no market, it won't work. You should also have some degree of knowledge about your own business, just jumping into one which one of your relative made success don't mean you'll be successful too. You should stick to the one you are comfortable and knowledgeable, something that aligns with your passion.

First of all, anyone can do business, but not everyone can become successful. Not everyone will get success in the initial stages they will face some loss, but they should keep trying, and one day they will get success in that way, changing a business is not a wrong thing because, in the initial stages they don't get enough experience running a business, and they get some experience from that. By the end of the year they know something about that business in that time maybe they make a clear decision about which business is suit for them. This is okay for first time or second time but keeping on doing this will ruin everything. Your first sentence explains it all. Anyone can do business, but not everyone can be successful in business, or better put, not everyone will remain and grow in business. Business requires time, strategy, wisdom and so many other things included, and if you can't give all into your business, then you are already failing. Some people are always afraid and cannot stand pressure. Once the pressure comes, they run and venture into another trade, thinking that it's gonna be different and somehow, they still meet even more pressure or issues. That's why we see some amby persons running from different business to another, and not finding a way to hold it and succeed. In all, if you must venture into business, you must be prepared, ready and willing to face the challenges and remain consistent.

Every business hsve it own challenges and sometimes it may seem as if it is not working, but for those who understand business time and season continues no matter the challenge but some people get frustrated and quit into another one. Building a good business is all about having patience and to be consistent and whoever lacks this it is very difficult to succeed in business. Reasons why sone people jump from one business to the other is because they want it big quick, they do not have the patience of how to go through from one phase to the next.

I have asked myself this question before and I know for a fact not everyone can own a business or not everyone should have a business especially when they cannot be mentally or financially capable of sustaining it for a long term. Now I'm not saying you shouldn't try your luck, I mean sure if you feel like doing something, go for it but if I were to give my sincere advise, some persons are better when they work with other people, someone like that, if you advise them to go start their own business, years later they will just crash out. So all in all, not everyone must venture into business

People need to be taught that they can easily enjoy the good profits of a business without managing a single store or employee themselves. If your friend possesses capital but he lacks the organizational skills to run a business venture, then he should avoid the entrepreneurship role but focus more on becoming something like a serial investor. He can always use his cash to buy some stocks or venture into the real estate landscape. Those spaces don't require many skills or knownledge, just have the capital and you are good to go.

Business is not for everyone, there are people who are just blessed in that area, have some friends that bluntly said they can't do business because it won't survive, so venturing into a new business isn't for everyone.
Business isn't something you just wake up to, you need capital and tolerance especially on the days when you have low sales, being consistent and showing up everyday plus you have to be very patient with customers, if you're not passionate about the business you intend to do, you'll get tired easily and can even lose money at the end of the day.
The reason why that person you know is jumping from one business to another is that he doesn't even know which type of business to do, as he is just mainly focused on having something that can give him extra income, there's no business idea in mind or he didn't even planned for one hence the reason for being here and there without results.
My advice is that he should just stop and if may be he still wants to do business that's fine, he can still employ people who are good at that area and choose one particular business they can manage it for him. I don't think he is a business minded person, so instead of business he can channel his money into something else! He should just try and discover what his good at, it might not be business and invest there.

Since I'm not living in the same neighborhood with the person in question I can't pinpoint the things he's doing wrong that is causing him not to stick to one business and why he couldn't become successful in the businesses he has done so far, so I can't contribute to the person or give him advice that would help him to get it right with business. Since you know the person in question, you know the lifestyle he's living, you know the things he spend his money on, I think you are in the right position to advice your friend.

Starting a business is very easy, but how maintain it becomes a very big deal for many people, due to the fact that they don't usually have a proper plan for the business. Sometimes we often get carried away when we see someone doing a business and want to start the same business without even looking at our financial status, just for people to see you as someone who is hustling, without realizing that you are drawing yourself backward. Normally, business is very important for us, but it's necessary to know what to do before venturing into it.

There are businesses that we have an idea on how to operate and have got experience with but with some factors that are out of hand, that can affect the business entirely and can pull it down into failing. That's why even with experience in business, there's the tagline about businessmen that they know failures knows no boundaries on them but they accept it if ever it comes. It's about the acceptance they have in the failure and they don't dwell on it for too long because they start again once they fail.

Actually this question is a bit weird
Not at all. knowing that lot of people are looking for a diverse way of earning an income, whereby they would be looking for business to do in other to sustain themselves.
Starting a business is about more than just finances. In part, it serves as a status symbol: you aren't working for "someone else's boss", but are instead the "master of your own destiny". In today's world, owning a business signifies success - a step above the "mere mortals" who work as employees for others. Since many equate business ownership with wealth (and success), they strive to acquire this coveted badge of status. But one question I keep asking is that “must everyone venture into business“?
No, it is not a requirement. After all, a great many businesses turn out to be unsuccessful, unprofitable, or doomed to fail - especially in their early years. Let’s consider this further. Given the statistics, a business is likely to fail, meaning a waste of resources (time, money, and emotional energy). From a profitability standpoint, it makes more sense to invest those resources in something else (such as real estate, land, securities, or cryptocurrencies) that offers a better return, rather than in a venture (like a business) that is statistically likely to be unprofitable. Don't forget that running a business is a challenging undertaking; it demands total commitment (particularly during the startup phase), specific personal qualities, and, of course, a bit of luck. Therefore, not everyone is cut out to be a successful businessman. The reason why I draw this question was as a result of someone I knew too well that wasn’t able to maintain the business he owned. Every two years he kept jumping from business to another yet no results to show up about becoming successful through that business.
A serial unlucky businessman who keeps failing? Sometimes, it is better to stop and channel energy into something else, something new, rather than wasting your resources. Not everyone who shows persistence becomes successful; there are plenty of persistent failures in this world, too. What contribution you would you give to someone like this? The floor is open for discussion.
At the very least, one should take a break (and avoid accumulating debt). It is important to build up resources (including mental ones) since every failure drains a person. One needs to carefully think through and formulate a new business plan, provided there is a genuine desire to continue in business. If previous attempts to grow the business failed, it means something was done incorrectly; past actions must be analyzed and the errors rectified. And one more thing: stock up on 4-leaf clovers, because business is like roulette - success depends on a confluence of many circumstances.

But for a person who starts a business and has no experience, starting a business on a large scale or selling all his assets or starting a business on a loan on all his assets will not be the right decision at all. Because he has no experience and does not know about all the problems that can arise during the business, etc. A person who starts a business without knowing everything is definitely dependent on luck like gambling. Starting with a small amount at the beginning is the best decision or before starting the business that we want to start, gaining experience about that business from somewhere else and then starting on a large scale is the best decision

I agree with you that what you love is not necessarily the most suitable way to build a successful career, but people often succeed in the work they love, I am speaking from my personal experience here.

Yeah , I know , many people have built successful careers doing something they love. All Im saying is that's not the only thing that decides or guarantees success for us. Also , the passion come later. Some start job purely for the income or the opportunity it offers, and over time they get better at it and start actually loving it. They end up liking it simply because it helps them reach the goal they had in the first place. So you dont always need to find job you love from day one . Find something that can help you get where you want to be. You'll naturally grow to love it.
