Many casinos had their own tokens/coins but I don't think any of them really took of and lasted for very long as an investment, and casinos are already a profitable business model so combining it with token can complicate and if those tokens fail that could even end their casino business. So as a casino they are more focusing on the gambling part and also now we can deposit more cryptos than ever which makes the necessity for their own token less.

The benefits of holding casino tokens are not sustainable in the long term. The market also takes advantage of the hype generated by casino promotions, while the actual utilization of the tokens is also not real. You have probably seen a casino token that eventually switched networks or even changed casino brands. Their tokens have no market enthusiasts. If the community is not large enough, the token will soon appear dead.

It is pretty much dead beyond the casino and if it don't have any real value then people are not gonna buy it, so when the hype ends the market value for those tokens also goes down. And it's been a while since a casino tried launching their tokens that has something to offer for the users.

I can't imagine myself still killing myself after so called casino coins, because they make no real Sense again. Those days are over when people were crazy about any coins that they see. Including the once that casino are bringing I feel that these casinos were doing this so that they can promote their brands and make their casino become well known. I can deposit money into a Casino and gamble but going extra to begin to mine or even invest in these shit coins that will pump up today and fall down in the next few days is what many people don't fancy anymore these day's.

I wasn't even aware that casino coins were ever a hot topic here. Casinos themselves offer plenty of other interesting aspects to discuss such as bonus offers, events, licensing and legal matters, and account disputes. We only occasionally touch upon their specific coins in the relevant threads.

They have no profitable reason to do so. Issuing such a token would certainly require specific regulatory approvals and likely entail significant, recurring costs for specialized developers, audits, and the like.

In my opinion, online casino tokens have too limited a use case to be of interest to a wide range of players. 🙋

For example, I'm personally very wary of staking. Staking a stablecoin or Bitcoin is one thing, but staking some insignificant token is quite another. The price of this insignificant token will fall over time. Therefore, I'll end up with a loss, not a profit. I'm not interested in that at all.

Of course, it would be great if an online casino were a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO), and tokens allowed players to govern this organization and receive dividends. However, such a concept seems utopian. The founders of an online casino bear enormous responsibility for its operation. Therefore, they will likely view DAO token holders as freeloaders undeserving of dividends. Ultimately, all the complex management decisions still need to be made by the casino's management.  Furthermore, to accurately calculate dividend amounts, management must provide token holders with DAO management reports. In my opinion, it's unlikely that anyone in their right mind would opt for such openness. In short, this concept has many pitfalls.

Therefore, in reality, online casino tokens are becoming redundant. Essentially, they're unnecessary. I remember receiving payments in such tokens and immediately exchanging them for BNB. Because BNB is a reliable cryptocurrency that appreciates over time.💫

Developing a token/coin is not as easy as developing a gambling business, the token must enter the crypto market and must be able to attract a number of investors so that this type of casino token does not become a "trash coin" people who gamble are not interested in casino coins, they come to play and bet, now the comparison is much easier for gamblers to use such as USDT, USDC, Bitcoin, Ethereum, Soluna than the type of casino coin itself.

This is your experience on just one token. You shouldn't then classify all other token based on your experience on one token. The OP made mention of RollBit doing well in their token. You can ease on your experience and don't blame all other tokens for the failure of just one token.  Be open minded. Even as the OP talked about RollBit, it still doesn't mean every other token will now do well. Just saying.

The ecosystem has changed. In the past, there were, I think, a dozen who launched their casino-based token, but only two took off, and these two are not doing well in the market BFG token is in 1285th place.

Investors are more into AI and real-world assets, and gamblers are not keen on buying this type of token, so no casino is interested in their own token; it's not going to be an advantage over all the other casinos having one.

I haven't don't know much about casino coins, I didn't know there was a time there was some serious hype around them but what I know is that if people stop talking about casino coins and investing in them then it means the hype around them has died down and we now have another trend of coins. It has always been that way in cryptocurrency so I am not surprised if people stopped talking about casino coins.

I do see casinos have their own coins but I never knew it some coin people used to invest in. I thought it's only to enjoy some side benefits of the casino when you hold their token. I don't see any casino coins worth something reasonable these days so there really not worth the time anymore.

People don't want to gamble depending on a specific token, they prefer to gamble using their own money, so I think casino sites don't want to force gamblers to gamble using only their own casino tokens, meaning they don't want users to get into trouble and gamble elsewhere from their platform. So they allow all (many) types of money here so that gamblers can gamble using the money they want.

What is the point or what benefit will a casino get if they should have there own casino coin, I believe they have seen its not worth the stress so they don’t have interest on building their own coin.

As for me I don’t like casino coins because it’s worthless and those not mean anything to me, I don’t even see this question as a good question because it’s only something that brings good Benefits that people will like, we already have a lot of good crypto coin and casino coins will not change or bring anything better to someone.

I don't like them, and I don't hate them either. Casino coins are like a copy of what they did in trading, so it's not new anymore.

I believe that is why there are many who would ignore it. The times of coins inside platforms like trading and gambling are not that hyped anymore. Investors would probably just pick a coin that can be widely used instead of just the platform itself.
Also, I don't like the idea of making an effort to trade it to those coins first before I can gamble. I like doing it directly with whatever fiat or cryptocurrency I deposit. No detours. Most gamblers are impatient, and I believe that is a fact.

It's rarely to find new casino to issue their token. It's all because the existence of casino is to generate profit. It's unnecessary to issue the token unless their casino is not profitable, then they try to keep it running by issuing token to fund the operational cost of their casino.

I remember those coins very well the Rollbit NFT token, BFG, and all the altcoins that launched alongside casinos; they were or still are really good. But what happened? The usual story: the casinos didn't give them much prominence and failed to capitalize on the ongoing hype surrounding them. We know many people bought them to sell high later, but supply is what drives value. Bitcoin has a cap of 21 million coins; for an altcoin to succeed, it needs a lower supply and an intact burning mechanism that’s the only way it starts to appreciate. If they keep printing too many coins, there comes a point where the value drops. It’s a shame, because casinos actually inspire more confidence than the projects we used to see.

Majority of people have removed their minds from casino coins as all are still the same as altcoin, even though the gambling site is doing well doesn't mean that their coin would also do more better.

Nowadays, much attention are being channelled to Bitcoin which is most trusted coin out there, and it is also less volatile than altcoin.
What I even think people are putting much interest is Fan token, most of these clubs whenever they have matches you would see how speculative their token could be and if you are following up it will help to know when to sell or even buy them.

Tokens are about business, not gambling. When I pick a casino to play at, I don't care whether they have a token. And when I'm planning to invest, I'm not planning to play.
As a gambler, it makes no difference to me whether a casino has its own token or not - I won't buy it either way. Personally, I think gamblers aren't really interested in casino tokens, and that's the right approach.

Well if you think about it though ,that will only just complicate things for the casino because most players just want to deposit their money either USDT or whatsoever currency , play the game win then cash out their money or lose then probably play again or so.honestly to me a casino trying to run a token will just mean more work for them though it would probably be a good way to build reputation that's if the token is one that is worth it .Still if the casino is still printing out money from the house edge while also managing secondary market liquidity, then perhaps adding a token to it might end up creating unnecessary risks in their business unless they choose to only make use of their own tokens in the casino ,but perhaps that would be too fishy because folks might think it's a scam.
