Like me, I am into fish farming and other livestock business so I will advise you use that money to buy the fish and start training with a little portion of rented land. It came to my mind because it is a business that is patronized by every human being depending on how efficient the packaging is. Most food business have a 100% ROI both raw, cooked or processed. You're right about studying a business before investing, but from my own opinion not all business that are meant to study for over 6 months. There people who already have passion in some business, once the capital is there for them to start up the business, all they needed is to meet those who has been same business they intend to invest so that those people will give them guard lines on how to follow up with the business. The things the person needed to know is that business is all about gain and lost mostly a good location, for the kind of business they want to invest.

Studying a business for six months and above before start it is not actually a good idea, because six months is too much to waste when you already have the capital to start up your business. I would say it is not even experience, but the cost. Because 1200 dollars is not a lot, and there aren't that many business ideas that you can do in the "outside world" that would be that cheap. Food, shop, items, whatever- those are not cheap and starting one would not be easy at all. Don't know how it is where he lives, but 1200 dollars would not be cheap for a shop to sell food.

I don’t know much about your location but based on your description you’re certainly from Bangladeshi . Your country is well known for textile and clothing and other apparels which make it more cheaper for locals based in the country to get access to. request for starting a business where you can be marketing it online and also considering your budget I think you can go for a small scale clothing business where you can get to display your products via WhatsApp and other social media platforms. It doesn’t cost you much to start it online since you can be in your home and market your products online to most of your WhatsApp contacts and other social media platforms and gradually you can move from there to other platforms in the future.

Gazipur is a great city to start a business, and $1,000 is a pretty good amount to start a business there. It seems like textiles are definitely worth pursuing in this city. I think it's better to start with a brick-and-mortar store rather than an online one.
Because if you open online, it'll be hard to find people without online promotion. So, if possible, spend half your budget on clothing and try to build a local brand with the rest.

I don’t think a thousand to $1200 will be enough to cover the expenses for the type of business idea you have in your head; first you will need to rent a physical shop. where you can use as office and your products can also be be sampled offline, which this will cost money, you also need to have an online store which you will also need to pay a developer that will put it in place and then the product to sell should he decided base on what you have idea about and things you think your target audience will want, I can suggest for you since we are base in total different countries.

I agree that $1200 USD, while a completely nice amount, does not suffice to start your business and keep it going at least for a few months. It does not matter whether you start small or start big. Before you can be successful business person,what matters most is the location, what products or services are in high demand in that location you are, and what your capital can establish.Do your research, find a business that meets the needs of people in your location and start it. Just forget about selling online for now. I think it would be better for you to focus on offline business first. After you have grown to a certain level, you can then join the online market.

The reason I am saying this is that I know $1,000 is not much to start a business in many places. That is why I am encouraging you to start offline first, learn the business, and understand how things work.So, try to find out what is in high demand in your location, and let that determine the kind of business you will do.
