When casinos close, it's like business closures where many people lose their jobs. In this case, there won't be any entertainment for many who might have frequented casinos. I wouldn't blame online casinos; I would say that if they close due to government regulations, it's very wrong. I would open the doors for casinos to reopen in other, more welcoming states in the USA. I would fight until the very last minute to keep them open.

The down fall of others are seen as the rising of others. So I believe that this is another chance for other Casinos to take over following the problems that these Casinos has had. This type of cases are not strange in a functional society were regulation are taken seriously. Because if a casino can't sustain itself how can it pay wining, when someone hit the jackpot hard and the amount is large . Since these casinos can't run the business due to financial issues new Casinos with the financial muscle should take over.

This is going to take away the fun gamers get from those casinos and also jobs of workers of these casinos.

There are plenty of online casinos who will be willing to hire those experienced professionals.

Especially since the gamblers will probably migrate to online from those as well - more workforce will be needed.

That's a lot of jobs lost either way. Even though online casinos can benefit from the skilled professionals that land-based casinos laid off, they still need a small workforce to operate. Some might be used as live dealers, and a few in technology, finance, and customer service; the rest will remain unemployed.

Offline casinos are rapidly becoming a thing of the past.

Perhaps if they focus on hotels, cruise ships, and gambling tourism, I think they will still attract a specific, nostalgic audience.

Never knew there is this much casinos in Washington, and now that online casino is getting more popular I believe that many casinos will either close down and open a online casino or close down completely.

I am not surprised, every now and then there are too much competition in this space so I believe that many more casinos will have to shut down sadly, only the strongest will survive.

The owners are battling with Bankrupcy and they have to close to curtail expenses, although I found this clause that might keep the site on or delay it's closure

Bankruptcy is one major thing that has led to many reputable gambling platforms shutting down more than any other thing. But I ask myself, why are casinos not merging to revitalise their financial strength to prevent shutting down instead. I see the banking sector doing this, like in my country recent two different banks merged together due to financial incapacitation and now they're operating as a one entity strongly. But why not casinos do similar.

Gamblers are likely to be self controlled when they are gambling on a physical casino than when doing it online.
There is no control of what you are doing online because you can be in a closed room and get things done without anyone knowing about it. Those that are using a real physical casino can get restricted when the casino security noticed that a gambler have been coming too frequently to their casino which can be a sign of addiction. Addicted gamblers can make it hard for a casino to make money if their gambling behavior is becoming hazardous to the extend of causing panic and violence to other players using the casino.
I believe the real difference lies in the lack of a natural stopping point when it comes to online gambling. Because in a physical casino, walking out of the building creates some kind of a break, while it’ll only take just a few clicks to get back on the game even after exiting the casino. You see that convenience? That’s exactly what makes excessive and irresponsible gambling very easy to hide from people around you and most of the times, even from the gamblers themselves

From this report https://x.com/SEATTLESUBMISS/status/2106130425328660835 8 casino in the Washington area are about to close up next month ending, not really a good story for casino lovers in the Washington area.

The eight casino's that would be affected where listed in the report so you could check to see if your favorite casino(s) as the case may be was or were affected by this.
Several reasons for the permanent close up of these casino were cited.

This is going to take away the fun gamers get from those casinos and also jobs of workers of these casinos.

Strange. All of them have decided to close at the same time? Are they all owned by the same people? That would explain things.

A shame to see physical casinos go bankrupt but the physical casinos nowadays are crap anyway. They should have preserved the old style of gambling. Nowadays you either gamble on a screen at the casino or on a screen at home. People are choosing home since the physical casino has nothing new to offer.

I haven't play with those casino of course which is cons of the distance but I guess it's the right thing to them if they dont see the potential anymore of the casino to earn money and I guess filling a bankruptcy is a must for sure they tried to survive that because of the number of the employees they had but apparently we knew that casino is one of the largest contributors so imagine the losses they made for the tax compared to the profit. Sad to see for the people who needs a job to survive.

Sad to see for the people who needs a job to survive.

And maybe during their prime years, they could have earn a lot of money, as for sure there were era's along the way that they became famous that's why they try to keep their business afloat. But with the booming online games, it's just a matter of time that some of this old casinos will have to shut down their business for good.

Yes, it's really sad to see some of them who don't have a job anymore, or even worst maybe some of them have been with those casinos from the start. But that's how brutal this business is, very very hard to continue to grow because there are so many competitions and again, online games are preferred by gamblers.

6. All Star Casino - Silverdale

I know this one only from the list.
If I remember correctly, they have an announcement thread in this forum, and they were running some promotional campaigns in this forum. They were giving out Mullvad VPN to the people who made at least a $20 deposit. I am not sure if this casino and the mentioned All Star Casino are the same one. If they are the same one, then it is sad to see that they are closing their platform. More and more new casinos are coming to the crypto casino space, while some of them are closing. It's part of the evolution.

On the other hand, what do you think of the closure?

Does it reflect how bad the US economy is despite what has reported that they could have been recovering already? Or it is just gamblers just stop playing on land based casinos for good and would rather stick to playing online and doesn't want to get out of their homes?
