All signs worldwide point to a war economy.

Europez and America keep getting more and more invested in armaments and their manufacture.
The middle east is at the center of it as always. Now also Russia.
Now even Asian countries are contributing more and more to severely fronts.

History has shown us that when the worldwide economy focuses on war the turbulence leads to a global collapse of many otherwise considered vital parts of the economy eventually. Is it too late to stop this potential outcome right on its tracks by now? Or will the warmongers keep us all implicated till the bitter end?
I can't imagine a clear end yet, many countries are currently focusing on the defense/military sector, imagine how unfair it would be if a country had rich natural resources but managed by another country, this is not only economic but also the fear of countries if they don't want to cooperate with a country that is strong in the military field. A strong country will seize resources from a weak country. Indeed, both are mutually beneficial, one party offers security and the other party offers resources. What I can't imagine is when the resources have run out, maybe they have to accept the bitter reality

Or will the warmongers keep us all implicated till the bitter end?
The noise of this war is even echoing in our economy. That is because our country has been driven by the biggest corporations and they have the control to oil and our food chain. So, the price increase has been happening when there are some triggers and even with the supply that they have bought when the price is low, on an instant they're announcing price increase for oil products. And that affects a lot of industries that are driving our economy. I think that there's no solution to this as of the moment but a complete truce and stop of war. When there was a ceasefire, the things that have raised their prices didn't even roll back. This is how our economy works in the hands of the corporations as they're friends with our government.

All signs worldwide point to a war economy.

And why is that?
Because for so long, some parties, due to several selfish crazy reasons, seemingly can't do without fighting a proxy or/and direct war. The unrest and uncertainty of it all would make anyone seek to ramp up its defenses. Also the rhetoric used in todays political climate doesn't make things any easier. We have politicians and leaders of government making unverified and baseless claims in a bid to push for even more support for spending on defense and if it comes down to it, warfare. The option to sit down, compromise and try to make peace first is slowly being relegated to the back. We're all rushing to acquire more guns and bombs. The reality of it all is quite sad.

It becomes something to actually worry about if the big countries of the world in Europe and America are getting more interested in investing in weapons and their manufacture because it shows that there is no intention to remain unprepared for any situation like a crisis, Or another thinking is that these countries understand that for you to be peaceful you also have to be capable of violence that some other people or country that may have plan to look for your trouble  will prefer to avoid you. As a general trend of top countries to start investing in weaponry, any country not following in that manner will be left behind and likely even oppressed in the future for it.

All signs worldwide point to a war economy.

It's all about the dominance (power play) and profit making for the majority players in this economy and other countries are beginning to catch up too that's why they're turning to making war equipment to boost their economy disregarding the impact this is having. Russia supplying drones to Iran, Ukraine getting support from UN and so many others too, everybody just trying to capitalize on the opportunity to make profits from war or weaken the other country political power. China/India and Russia benefiting from the street of Homuz closure. A county or multiple countries  are always benefiting whenever there's a war and that's why we'll keep having a war powered economy and I don't think the world will pull out even though it can because some countries are making massive gains in this chaotic times.

From the point the world got to a stage where a country had to be very powerful in order to prevent other countries from exploiting or undermining it, it meant just one thing. Countries did not build nuclear weapons because they planned on using them. They built them because when they have something as powerful as that, others won't attack them. The concept of mutually assured destruction brought us to where we are today.

Now, they all want to show that they are strong and nobody should dare them. When everybody is filled with egos like that, it's very difficult for them not to escalate the issue. If you look at all the issues in the world today between countries, they are issues that can be solved by dialogue, but their egos won't let them. I don't understand why humans only see differences when they look at people, instead of just seeing them as human beings.

Some countries simply have no choice but to invest more money in military defense because war is at their doorstep. As for Europe, no one else is to blame except Russia, which is waging war because it wants the territory of another country at all costs. If Russia gave up the war, it would probably affect the mood change, but while the war lasts, other countries will not stop arming themselves.

I also don't believe that economies will collapse globally, it's all part of a process that takes place gradually - because countries pay in installments and it takes years for weapons to be delivered. Considering that I come from a country that was attacked and suffered heavily, I have nothing against my country buying modern weapons systems, especially if the fact is that the country that attacked us is buying even more.

I think it will be very difficult to break free from this war economy, even though, well, it does bring us closer to ruin. The competition among several major countries that constantly flaunt their power is truly a sign that everyone wants to prove who is the strongest, and that is essentially what has led us to this problem. Behind it all, it’s also about the struggle for natural resources, territorial expansion, and reputation in the eyes of the world. In fact, we’ve seen so many small countries with natural resources ultimately come under the control of larger nations. And I feel that even though we’re in the modern era, the law of the jungle still prevails the strongest hold the power. That’s why the latest missile tests and whatever else they may be, are always paraded on display; well, it’s all aimed at intimidating opponents or showing one’s teeth to other nations. So, in the end, whether they like it or not, everyone is racing to be at the forefront of weapons development and military related business or investment. because, as it turns out, every bullet comes at a high price.

If a superpower starts a war openly, it is only a matter of time for geopolitical domino effects to occur in other countries. China will increase pressure on some Asian countries, especially Taiwan. North Korea is clearly directly bombarding South Korea, Russia is increasingly unstoppable in attacking Ukraine. India and Pakistan could potentially also restart. many will start a war anywhere because even now it is basically waiting. America cannot start a war in any way. They as a superpower still have the power to actually prevent it.

Then developing countries, whose military capacity is minimal, whose economies are unstable, will suffer more severe consequences. They will be forced to choose the strongest side but here the rest of the people suffer because they have to survive in a war they did not start.

That is why I do not anticipate a massive world war.

Modern warfare will likely take the form of conflicts between nations, and these wars will be protracted. While the rivalry might subsequently continue in the commercial and technological spheres, I am certain that they do not want these conflicts to escalate into a full-scale war.

Indeed, currently the physical war is localized to a few conflicts. The rest - commercial, technological, psychological, political, name it - is going on, heavily, under our noses. Far too many people are already part of it and don't understand.
But I am not as optimistic as you are on the full scale war. I do hope we will not get there, but we are incredibly close to it Sad
