Scammed by Duelbits.

After working there for nearly two years, i was let go suddenly with zero warning with a load of fabricated excuses that should of warranted being spoken to or warned.. there was no real reason other than i wanted more money and was searching for employment elsewhere (which doesn't constitute a breach of contract, i have had my contract checked by a solicitor).

They decided 8.30pm at night was a reasonable time to call me (making sure they maximized the hours they could steal from me i guess), which is disgusting itself.

If they treat employees like this who gave two years of their life to build and maintain a community i can only imagine what they really think of the customers.

Guessing the hack hit them hard if they cant afford to pay me.

How do we know if any of this is true and if you were actually a former employee of Duelbits. Do you have anything to prove what you are saying here, or is it just your words, and if it is, i'm sorry nobody is going to take this seriously.

Let's say you were even a member of their staff, it is still within their rights to let you go if they think that's what's best for their business and that my friend does not warrant a scam accusation topic. As long as you were not owed salaries and they satisfied all that was promised in the event they no longer need your service, then you don't really have a case against them.

Let's say you were even a member of their staff, it is still within their rights to let you go if they think that's what's best for their business and that my friend does not warrant a scam accusation topic. As long as you were not owed salaries and they satisfied all that was promised in the event they no longer need your service, then you don't really have a case against them.

A lot of people who use duelbits will recognize my username as i was prominent in site chat and discord. And i was owed salary, along with a minimum two weeks notice and payment of that notice if they fail to provide it, hence why i am here.

Anybody can create a bitcointalk account with any username (as long as it hasn't be taken), so this does not prove that you are whom you say you are. You say you worked with them for two years, surely you can share some redacted information to prove that, it could be as simple as just an email correspondence.

Hello, i wasn't a gambler i was an employee which my post does state. i have been scammed out of my owed salary and notice payment, so it has nothing to do with any account or accessing accounts. Simply being scammed out of what is owed.

Purely based on what you wrote, it looks like you were fired in an abrupt and insensitive way(at least in my opinion), but no scam has happened. That being said, you saying they "fabricated excuses" can be concerning, but there is no evidence of that from your post, so it doesn't really hold much meaning.

They are refusing to pay owed wages plus the two week notice period payment and are ignoring communication now. Obviously these were contractual obligations that are being ignored. Being fired doesn't bother me i wanted to leave for a while, but being robbed does bother me.

This one you need to prove in order to support your claim as I think that this is the one that can be called as part of the scam because being fired suddenly doesn't automatically mean it's a scam IMO.
IIRC, this is the first time I see a casino is accused as scam by its own employee so it is an unusual case in this scam accusation board.
The image you share above about the email of "termination of service" is also not helping at all here if you ask me as it does not prove that you are scammed.

Maybe you can get to talk to them or through legal means and the pay up what is left. I don't think that would be too much for them.

Yes that's what i am claiming is the scam the theft of my wages, i know being fired isn't i was just explaining the situation. Also the termination email i sent because someone asked for proof i had worked there.

The amount owed isn't vast, its around $1000-$1100 but its money i earnt and am entitled to.
I am reporting them to all necessary parties as ripping off people who have contracts they don't like too much, but due to it being a small amount actual legal processes are simply not worth it.

Also no i knew the pay rise was a no go, so i simply looked for work elsewhere.

I thought that this is something about winnings in the casino and they refuse to pay. But it's a different one on this case. Being a let go can happen anytime to an employee however the company wishes to do so. And if they are not going to pay, you can put this into a legal concern if you've signed a contract before you officially render your time on them. But will it be worth it with all the legal fees that you'll be pursuing for it? I am not discouraging you though as that money you've worked for specific period of time needs to get paid prior to your lay off. They have a thread where you can get the attention of the representative and reach out for some convincing.

Understandably you cannot share much about the terms of agreement or the reasons you were let go, but that also means the public cannot mediate on it. Every other part of the text was blurred out including whatever reason they gave, what exactly led up to this situation is also unknown and so is the employee contract binding your relationship with them.

Best solution for you may be a single mediator that can consider the facts privately and reach a conclusion.

If you have a signed and written agreement you can take them to court and cost them much more than the missing pay. Court costs, lawyer fees, maybe a little pain n suffering, time, and ding their ego all at the same time.

I won't guarantee you'll win but if you have documented proof you have a good chance in court.

Well that's something new. When I saw the title I thought there would be a new "regular" scam accusation, a player doesn't get paid and complains about it, while I was already thinking Duelbits is too big to do something like that without any reason. Well, now we have an ex employee, that's new.
There are contracts and laws that both employees as well as companies have to follow. If you think you are in the right you can take it to the authorities in charge of these things and let them build a case for you. Obviously you can't get fired on the spot without notice, especially if you didn't do anything significant wrong.

I wonder, what was the job description? OP mentioned he was in the chat and discord, so I suppose he was some kind of mod maybe? On some sites (stake for example) mods don't even get a salary or a real contract, that's why I am curious.

Because these emails are supposedly private and confidential etc so I'm making sure i don't cross any boundaries which i have explained above... lets not forget I'm not an anonymous gambler so i have to be a bit more careful. I have also explained its due to me looking for work elsewhere and securing a trial elsewhere, but that doesn't constitute a breach of contract because they let me go before i had chance to tell them (also my line manager was aware which it states in the contract has to happen), i followed all protocols set out within the contract.

That's the issue it was on the spot with false reasons, saying my availability wasn't great etc, i worked 40 hour weeks for less than half of minimum wage how much more can they expect. There was also a two week notice period that was completely ignored.

Job label is Junior Community Executive, but yeah its a fancy name for Mod.. and there are contracts but evidently they do not get stuck to and are probably not legally binding if I've learnt anything from my time there.

The last mod they done dirty they fired for 'accepting tips', yet every single mod was withdrawing tipped funds, they make it up as they go along.
