Based on the question asked by Superbitman a while ago, I believe it would be wise to bring together forum annual financial records in one place for easier perusing by anyone concerned. So the main aim is to organize all into one thread instead of the way it was distributed across many threads. I would be updating the OP annually if theymos releases the report, also this thread would be used to remind him of the updates. 2011 - 2013Income Donations Ads 2011 3081 1545 2012 13291 21014 2013 42174 243233

I believe theymos will have a pin thread for this topic if it was really necessary. Unless you consult him and he gives a green light, this thread remain unproductive since it relies on him giving updates. But I'm curious why the sudden discussion about the forum financial updates. Is someone suspicious of anything?

I believe theymos will have a pin thread for this topic if it was really necessary. theymos is not a MR KNOW IT ALL and maybe he hasn't thought of bringing them all together earlier, just maybe. Someone might want to access them and this is me saving them the stress of a long search. Unless you consult him and he gives a green light, this thread remain unproductive since it relies on him giving updates.
Unproductive to you, productive to someone else, that's why not only you exist here sir But I'm curious why the sudden discussion about the forum financial updates. Is someone suspicious of anything? The purpose of this thread is simple, assembling all financial reports in a single thread and making it look more organized and easier to locate, I don't think organizing things is an act of suspicion. Financial records is an important part of any organization and community activity. I believe theymos knows its importance and that's why he gives them when requested, neither do I think it is bad putting them all in a place.

Thumbs up for the data. Personally I don't really find it very important yet however that doesn't necessarily make it unimportant regardless. Unless you are pretty sure Theymos will keep giving updates I think it would have been better if you had made this as a reply in the original thread. Yeah yeah but it's subjective to the use case actually. If Theymos doesn't give continuous updates after this then he and the admins probably want it to stay confidential actually.

Threads like this are very sensitive and could spark reactions. Before creating it, have you contacted theymos first?
Maybe there's no need for all of these since the updates were already referenced on the forum, except that he granted permission to do this in case there is a need for more clarification or updates.

Of course they could and probably will but they already exist without assembling, so the assembling is the problem as you think of it. However there is no need for admin to update us the ordinary people of the forum, firstly we don’t have any connection to the public funds apart from participating in the forum. Donors are not asking and there is no suspicion of mismanagement of funds.

All data is publicly available and posted in an open forum by theymos himself.

I am surprised the data was not already collated in a single thread. having said that, maybe using the BTC value at the time of payment would help those that prefer to know in Bitcoin rather than USD$. Maybe there's no need for all of these since the updates were already referenced on the forum, except that he granted permission to do this in case there is a need for more clarification or updates. Since your signature ban, you have made less and less posts than before the signature ban was put on your Dunamisx account. I looked through some of your post history and noted you have made 20+ posts in around a single day. You have most recently made 20 posts in 16 days. I have seen a consistent pattern of low quality posts from you for a several years. I have no idea how many accounts you are operating but keeping that aside, I am glad nutildah managed to put a signature ban on at least one of your accounts.

But I'm curious why the sudden discussion about the forum financial updates. Is someone suspicious of anything? For merit. And I don't see why not? If merit incentivizes new users to do some digging and gather useful information, so be it. It's a good thing. OP deserves a little bit of merit. Maybe not a huge amount but that's the essence of merit. You can choose to send even 1. So if you learned something, if someone put effort, if the post was useful... Might as well. The finances of this forum are something of public interest and worthy of discussion indeed. It's a forum we all use and it was publicly funded through donations. Frankly speaking, the last few years there's no reporting of any financial activity. We know there's no significant income other than BTC appreciation, but what about the expenses?

I have done a very dip research in finding the 2019 and 2024 financial records and it’s no were to be found, this means theymos did not publish them, maybe he forgot and back then people didn’t ask for it. It’s not easy to handle this forum and your personal life. But I'm curious why the sudden discussion about the forum financial updates. Is someone suspicious of anything? For merit. Funny people.

Expenses $420 Moderators $167 Other contractors $92 Security bounties $10 Tax $79 Hosting $59 Other $23 Largest bounty awarded in 2025 $1500 Looking at the statistics above, some few figures just captured my attention, which include the income generated in 2014 and that of last year 2025. Because while i was expecting to see 10x of what was generated 11years ago (i.e 2014), I was only shocked to see the forum generate just $10 in an entire year. And i'm sure this is as a result of the forum stopping run a general ads, but giving each individual of this beautiful forum the privilege to run ads by themselves through signature campaigns and earning a reward, which seems to be one of the best decision the forum ever made. And on that note, I would have love to suggest that what if Theymos pinned the forum wallet address on the Home page of this forum where it could be visible to everybody. Because i'm sure there might be some person who are willing to donate, but don't know the right wallet to fund the fund. So this is just my humble suggestion.

Oi, I think you missed out on this part; all the values you see there are in thousands ("000") of USD Here's 2025: Numbers in thousands of USD

Sometime back, Theymos said that the forum really does not need any more money, or the BTC the forum has is already more than enough. It was the whole point of stopping the Ad Spot auctioning, so donations aren't necessary at this point in time.
