In today's political space, lying is a highly needed skill to survive. Politicians are the biggest liars and deceivers. 

 This statement points directly to that Nigerian wannabe musician David Adeleke who literally lied to the public on behalf of his uncle to help secure his place as the governor in charge. It has come to light all the bullshit he has done low-key. These political representatives will look you dead in the eyes and literally lie to you. I'm no longer that pal who listens to them, I also do not expect tue next political representatives to do a change.  In Nigeria, I can not wait until we find our own Military Nationalist like Ibrahim Traore.

The osun state governorship election was so obvious at the end that Adeleke supports the re-election of the president Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his second tenure. I have always known that politics is more selfish than people oriented. Before the election, the level of media war was a total distraction from the real deal which was an agreement to reinstate the president.  After retaking leadership, his support is now more obvious.

Most times, the masses are deceived, not once but continuously and you now wish for some chance to choose your conscious or you end up hoping that These people change when you realise you can not influence the change and wish you had the Ibrahim traore to care for the common people and start a real war against these people that fake having the masses at heart when they're only interested in what they will gain at the end. Politics is cruel when you start understanding why it is said there's no good policies is genuinely caring about how the masses eat daily or how they will have access to good healthcare.

harassment, cases at the last minute etc. make that person in turmoil, so a lot of time is needed to create a good situation in politics now, from the lowest level to the government, every person is full of corruption, they are the ones who are in high power, they are the only ones who do more ugly politics

You'd see them a lot in different social media and that's why there's a need to be more strict in it from these platforms in order not to be used as weapon by these politicians and propagandists. Not sure of the things you were trying to address from the entire write up, but I think this is the actual point you were trying to make. In a society or country where personal interests take priority over the collective good, there's always going to be a setback. And this has often been one of the root causes of poor leadership in many countries. Those who are supposed to be closer to the average citizens ends up becoming puppets of the same politicians who have no interest in finding long lasting solutions to problems that affect the majority.

For some weird reasons, a few set of these individuals just prefer to fight for things that would only favour them in a short term, rather than things that everyone would benefit from In a long run... Just a typical greedy nature of humans.

The movement was purely political, you were not careful, that was why you didn't notice that the Osun State governor is right beside Tinubu for a second tenure, the signs were quite obvious, the confidence throughout the election proved that there were some backens, either way, he would have won the election.

Is Adeleke a good governor for the people of Osun State, i think he is, but when it comes to the presidential election, we don't need to be under the government, the choice comes individually. Each of us votes for our respective candidate, and we know which government should be replaced.

Well pthe current status of politics is about people knowing and supporting people, whether you do well or not, in as much you are ready to be loyal to those ahead or in power you automatically gain the ticket to remain in power. Unfortunately politics have become a place where corrupt people enter to legitimize their corruption, this is why election riggings are so much in many underdeveloped and developing countries, these criminals wants to remain in power by all means and they will help fellow criminals to win elections through rigging. In Nigeria, we have individuals who have been indicted for corruption abroad and they will come back to the country and would be welcomed into politics by fellow corrupt politicians, the political system have been polluted with corruption.

Actually, there should be something different from this, there should be an agency that should get them to do it and the money they have stolen should be taken out of them and after some time they should be removed from this government and new elections should be held. By doing this, the government will be afraid because if they have come to steal, they will definitely do it but their number will be reduced. That is, a government has stolen 100M$ in 1 year, now its number will come to 500k$. We will not be able to end theft in our country but we can definitely reduce its cost. Actually, the government is very clever, it does not keep cash with itself, rather they make their property in foreign countries, which makes us think that they have not stolen, although they get the government by investing money for such things.

In the underdeveloped countries they have the most corrupt and wicked criminals as politicians that is why they fail to develop their countries instead they steal all their country treasures to go invest in other countries so that them and their children can run to those countries when they are out of office. The set of politicians who get rich overnight are those who truth are far from their lips, they steal and try to bad up bills to benefit them and their supporters, you can't find truth in their mouth because everything they do depend on the public funds. The politicians are enemies of the people and enemies of truth if they do but steal and use lies to cover up their stealing they can't make the money you see them make once they assume office.

in the least developed countries become a politician there is no educational or any other qualification, criminals, corrupted people, businessmen join the parties, they steal money and invest or buy properties in abroad, their children go abroad to study or live. meanwhile people are not getting benefit of country's treasury appropriately. poor become  poor and rich become rich day by day.

I think in developing and underdeveloped countries politics is seen as a way to make money rather than to serve the people. The reason people engage in politics in those part of the world is for them to make money, that's why the politics is corrupt and it's always a do or die affair. The truth is that the reason for people engaging in politics should be the willingness to serve and that's what make them a great leader. Reverse is the case when it comes to african politicians, because they are not there to server the people, but rather to steal from the nations wealth.
