People are always saying that the poor people are the ones gambling more than the rich people, now my question is those who are depositing $50k to $100k on casinos are they poor people, because I’m sure poor people won’t have huge amount of money to deposit in a casino.
So it’s the rich people that always deposit huge amount of money on a casino and not the poor and this means the rich are the ones gambling more than the poor.
I can only agree that the poor are more in numbers as gamblers but the rich are the ones spending more money in gambling.

Those who gamble regularly gamble just for fun, rich people spend thousands of dollars to overcome loneliness. Especially the number of poor people is higher on gambling platforms because there are many such people who enter gambling for employment or income. Gambling You can compare the issue of addiction because poor people become addicted to gambling compared to the rich because the poor cannot bear the pain of losing money.
As a result, they are able to borrow more money and the pressure of the debt forces the person to go into hiding, but rich people They gamble with large amounts of money and when they lose money, they do not regret it but rather enter gambling by earning more.

People with lower or middle incomes do not always gamble solely to earn extra money, sometimes it may be an attempt to escape something or to find a distraction from other problems while playing. Over time, this can turn into a habit, but it does not necessarily lead to a gambling addiction for everyone, there will always be some individuals who are unable to stop in time. The issue is not limited to gambling, there are also people who cannot stop in time when it comes to alcohol or drugs, which likewise destroys their lives.

Both the poor and rich gamble but when we talk about the the category of gamblers that spends more are actually rich gamblers, they don't really have to gamble consistently, with just a few stakes they can lose a thousand dollars but the rate at which poor gamblers is quite much even though they don't really spend too much on a single stake but calculating what they spend in the long run is quite much.

People are poor gamble regularly and that is because they mostly gamble to create a source of income, this is what makes them get addicted to gambling in the long run.

Well, it really depends on individuals. It doesn't really matter whether one is rich or poor, because I have seen rich people gamble for several hours before they stop. People gamble based on the amount they have on their pocket or account. The difference is that the rich may gamble for both fun and money-making, while the poor may gamble to become rich through it. Both can become addicted if they are not mindful of how they gamble, as it can eventually them into destruction.

...
In terms of those who use more funds to gamble then I would agree that it is the rich folks since they very well have the financial capacity to gamble as well as also handling whatsoever loss that comes with it..Then again, it is also worth knowing that even the rich also have their limit... And just coz they have access to a large amount of money doesn't mean that they would still go ahead to make large deposits or even gamble excessively.. The poor folks on the other hand may not be able to make large deposits to the casino like the rich folks do due to constraints in their financial capacity, but since many gamble to make a living, they ar likely to gamble more often in terms of frequency--Thats my opinion though.

We certainly know that gambling addiction can happen to anyone, regardless of whether you are rich or poor. But the extent varies for each person.
Again, I’ve seen so many people who merely started off gambling as an activity to simply relieve stress and unwind after a long day, but things spiraled out of control and bad things happened on the process. And I think the major cause of this is the gambler’s expectations, if the expectations remain realistic then chances are low that they’ll get addicted, but even if the expectations were realistic and low, but along the line grows to an unrealistic level, then it becomes easier for addiction to easily set in, and just as you said, it can happen to anyone, and it doesn’t matter the person’s financial situation.

There is no way to prove who spends more on gambling between the rich and the poor, if a rich person canr do without gambling they will keep spending alot of money on gambling.

I have read some comments from gamblers in here and they always complain about someone spending thousands of dollars or even millions of gambling, saying if they have that kind of money they won't use if for gambling.

And I like replying them with this, rich people use what they can afford to lose even though many can't afford such money, everyone is cutting their clothes according to their sizes.

I don’t agree with you, the poor people are the ones spending more money in gambling than the rich people, a poor man can get paid and use all his salary to gamble.
The set of people who gamble the most are the poor people because they want to become rich through gambling.
The only reason gambling is very popular today is because of the want and desire to become rich.
Majority of those who are addicted to gambling are addicted because they wanted to become rich through gambling and they ended up coming addicted and then spending a huge amount of money and even selling their properties just to gamble.

If you have counted them, then you can say this your analysis is correct. But as long as nothing of that nature has being done, then it's just speculation.

Just because a person deposited big doesn't mean they are rich, what if the money is stolen? What if it's their savings. First of all, how do you classify someone being rich? That way we can say who and who is actually rich.

I think no one outspends the other. Everyone betting based on what they can loose or not, based on desperation or not. Trying to figure out who bets more out of rich and poor is us playing another related gambling activity which is guessing.

Both spend on Casino games but if you carry out a ratio you will know that thr rich spend more on gambling than the poor, the poor might gamble daily but a rich man will gamble a day and it will be times 3 of what the poor man had been gambling with for a week or month,  poor people gamble with little token because they dint have nych to use to stake.

Rich people gamble with millions of dollars every day, they increase the number of casino if it was the poor casino won't have increased in numbers like they do now, casino knows those rich accounts on their site so they can be the best to assess this through their data base,

I can’t argue that with you because the rich have money to use in betting, they use big amount to bet in order to make good profit with small odds.

The reason why the poor have the largest number is because they really on gambling to make them rich. No poor man bet for passion, they all bet to make money from the betting, they are not expecting less because we all have the mentality that it is a game of luck, so we put our expectations high always. We try to accumulate odds that we can money from with small money. This is the reason why the poor lose more money in gambling than the rich gamblers that use big money to gamble.

I wonder what's the big deal there to be dragging over who gamble more and who does it less. The thing is that we can't be too sure or measure who is richer or poorer by their individuals stakes ability, it is not possible. Because some rich folks also stake small, while some poor or middles class guys can't decide to risk some reason amount made for something else which we may not know. So you can see that someone staking power in a particular bet has nothing to do if he or she is rich or poor. What matter most is to stake what we can afford to lose, that is what we should be discussing.

What you said is actually true, what one rich man can lose in a day, that is what some people will be trying to save for months. But I also believe that you cannot necessarily just look at the amount of casinos available and say that the rich people are the ones that are spending more on gambling. But one thing I believe is that both the rich and poor gambles but just in a different ways. Some people put gamble with a big amount at one time, and some people gamble with what they can afford to.  After all I feel the most important thing is not only the amount that a person gamble with,  but how much they can afford to lose and how it impacts their lives if they do lose that amount.

Once you get enough answers you can lock the thread. Between the poor and rich you can say that the rich spends a high amount of money on gambling but the poor are consistent in betting small amounts which turns out to be a lot of money, not every poor gambler stakes low you also need to consider the ones that also bet with an amount of money that they cannot afford to lose. Gamblers generally lose money but the casinos and sports are focused more on those that stake high even though they don't do it consistently.

Besides, who says that someone who deposits $50,000–$100,000 is poor? Cheesy You’re the one drawing that conclusion, bro.
When it comes to the amount of money allocated by the rich versus the poor, it’s obviously different, because their financial situations are also different. Something that’s a big deal for the poor is certainly not worth much to the rich, which also means the amount of money the poor and the rich can afford to lose is definitely different.
I believe the issue is more about desperation than it is about accountability size. You don make a fine point though, what really matters is what the stake actually is relative to the person’s position or situation. Some folks can actually drop in $100k as an amount he can actually afford to lose, and that’s totally entertainment, while another can drop $50k as his total net worth or money he borrowed, and the impact of losing both amount can never be the same. So it’s really not about the amount but the capacity of the person.
Yes, this is really more about a person’s ability to absorb losses, which leads to differences in terms of the amount of money they have just from the words “rich” and “poor,” we can already see the difference in their financial situations.
On the other hand, everyone may have a different perspective, especially regarding the criteria for defining “rich” and “poor,” but personally, as someone in the middle class, I believe that anyone who gambles with amounts over $50,000 belongs to the wealthy class. I also agree with those who say that poor people gamble more often than rich people (regardless of the amount of money involved) because financial pressures may drive them to try to make a lot of money through gambling.
