Hey guys,

We usually create reputation threads to catch scammers, spammers, alt accounts, and address personal issues.
However, I am creating this thread to publicly appreciate a guy, which is Smartprofit.

This honest and humble person won a Bitz raffle, which was about $15 in Bitcoin.
He sent me his Bitz.io Bitcoin deposit address, and I sent the funds to that address.

However, he realized that the deposit address had changed on his Bitz account, and the deposit wasn't credited to his account. He reached out to me and admitted it was his mistake for not checking the address, and he asked if I could help. I reached my contact, and the Bitz contact said, "Ask the player to contact support. The support team should be able to credit the missing deposit."

However, Smartprofit later sent me a private message saying Bitz.io had actually credited him 0.01 BTC, which is approximately ~$770 at this moment, while his prize was actually $15.

I think your intervention is needed. They seem completely confused.

I quickly reached out to the Bitz.io team and told them that the player had reported this. He was supposed to receive $15 in Bitcoin instead of 0.01 BTC.

The Bitz contact person then sent me a message appreciating the player, Smartprofit.

We appreciate his honesty. Not everyone would speak up if they received more than they were supposed to, especially when it’s a significantly larger amount. As far as I know, the team also rewarded him for his honesty.

So, I am creating this thread to spread some love and publicly appreciate his honesty.

This guy really very honest. $770 is not a small amount. He could have embezzled this money if he wanted to. And Bitz is a fairly large gambling platform and there are a lot of transactions on this platform every day, so they themselves might not have known that they had mistakenly given such an amount as a bonus to someone. God bless him for being so honest.

This is highly encouraging, worthy of emulation and gets to show that no matter how bad the world gets, there will always be people who will chose the part of honesty, and SmartProfit has demonstrated to be one of them.

I love this, I think things like this should be the reason why positive feedback should be given to someone.

This is a reputation board and we should not only create thread for negative things that people did, when people do positive things it’s good to also post it.

If we can create thread to tell people to avoid a particular member because of his scam or cheating behavior, it’s also good to create a thread to tell people about a persons honest and sincere behavior or act.

This is to show that there are still good people out there that are willing to do the right thing at every point in time. However, the money in question is pretty huge and someone with no fear of God or with zero discipline in him/her would have just stayed mute or silent the whole funds. What a noble act.

The difference is very significant and they can count themselves lucky that things played out in this way. Even though it is not an amount that Bitz would worry more than a second about, but money is still money, right.

A real integrity is really tested when there’s a big money on the like and nobody is really watching. It actually an easy task to do the right thing for just a few dollars but the speaking up when accidentally handed over $700 shows genuine character.

I don't see how this will be a backfire, at worse it will affect the particular staff that made the wrong payment, he might be querried.

But for the large Bitz.io service, this will rather attract more people, especially dishonest people, incase they will be lucky to be beneficiaries of such an error subsequently

Everyone make mistakes, and Bitz’ financial management team isn’t an exception. These are merely common errors that any company can make. It’s not the first time I’m seeing reports about overpayments or underpayments, besides this was a raffle and I don’t think raffle payments are automatically processed like the regular winnings from the bets, and thus errors like this one are most likely to occur.

I love it when I see posts like this, at least it makes me realize there are still honest people in this world. The world could really use more people like this. This forum could really use people like this.

Such actions should be normal for people, and I think Smartprofit itself thinks so.
But let's imagine that another person with the rank of legend on the forum receives such an erroneous amount in his wallet and pretends that he did not notice the error, simply keeping silent about it. But what happens then? Everyone understands perfectly well that the transaction can be tracked. And is it worth 700 dollars for someone who has been on the forum since 2017?

What this forum is good at is that people always have a choice: to remain a scoundrel and leave the forum or to gain respect without wasting time on all sorts of random financial mistakes. However, everything is the same as in life🤷‍♀️.

Mistakes happen once in a while. Anyone who thinks that if they sign up with Bitz.io they will get free money might wait forever. The staff responsible for this error would have some questions to answer.

Some people would have seen this as a chance to own hundreds of dollars.  Smartprofit has shown that good people still exist in a world where evil is dominant.

Sometimes we should create such threads instead of always negative threads. This subject also belongs to the reputation board. So we may take a lesson from him about honesty. I am not sure if I have received extra money from the forum or any other platform; I don't even check the signature payment always. But these types of mistakes happen in real life. Just a week ago I was buying something, and the shopkeeper gave extra money on change; I counted it and returned it to him.

However appreciate Smartprofit’s honesty, nowadays it’s hard to find honest people.

A rare instance of "honesty being repaid", and I don't know if it's just me, but I always believe that whatever traits and attitudes we show online also reflect who we are in the real world, and I believe Smartprofit is also an honest person in real life.

I wonder though if he will make a response on this thread though. Maybe he's flattered on what we are saying to him which TBH, he deserves it. Well, I guess his account is worth more than $770 thus, being honest.
