the scrypt pool is having some problems ? i see speeds are up and down, including mine

Most of scrypt ASICs don't support extranonce subscriptions (sadly, ASIC producers have no interests in implementing this important feature, and it is only 5min work to pull from github) - it is normal to see higher hashrate swinging on scrypt - and it gets wilder the more orders are being cancelled or getting dead.

but worked just fine until yesterday, im mining here for weeks

Take it easy, we are not under attack (yet), but so many miners joined us recently that we were completely unprepared for the sudden hash increase. We are working on a solution.

Is there a new ASIC miner for X11 coin or something new going on??? Very odd that the hash rate went high so fast in the last couple of days

No.

Did you see how long it took from the first mutterings of an scrypt ASIC to seeing the first ones? That was for a single ASIC for a single algo.

X11 uses 11 algos.  You'd need to design 11 ASICs, and then go through all the rest of the process of PCB design and all that ...

I honestly doubt we will ever see an X11/13/15 ASIC miner.  The cost would GREATLY outweigh what you could earn with it I'm sure ...

they said the same thing about scrypt asic's but look at us now hehe

nobody but the asic companies knows the true price it costs to pump these units out...and if their making tons of money off ltc asic's they just might do it to try Tongue

X11/13/15 coins are not profitable enough to for hardware vendors to make a asic chip that will mine them. Maybe in a few years...

Everybody is just swinging back an forth between script asics and sha256 asics...

We are under such heavy load (just check 100+ ghs on x11) that server is barely pumping any juice. But tomorrow, this will be improved.

all this is giving me weird diff. rates even thou i put d= for password...is that not being honored anymore?

Accepted ff368500 Diff 4.68K/4096 for 27mh/s is a bit much since i have it set for 512

Providers and Buyers, we are pleased to announce WestHast.com[/b]]WestHast.com - geographically separated system, running as a whole under global NiceHash.com master system.

WestHash.com brings attractive opportunities for providers as well as for buyers. Market is independent from the NiceHash.com, however accounting, payments and everything else is fully integrated into a single system. We delivered WestHash.com to come closer to all those miners and end-target pools, located in western and central USA - to provide better efficiency and also to shuffle the market a bit. And yes, you guessed, in the near future we will also cover Asia by introducing AsiaHash.com. Stay tuned!

We welcome you to try our new WestHash.com system:

Buyers - you can place orders just the same as you are doing it on NiceHash, with the same accounts and the same online wallet.

Providers - you can point miners to stratum.westhash.com with the same rules that applies on NiceHash as well (same ports, multi-algo, etc.).

We wish you lot's of fun and profit by using our global professional cryptocurrency cloud mining service! Thank you!

Thats very nice, but are you going to try to monitor the revenue so they both system will stay close to one another or is it going to be a "free market" where one site can be paying 1BTC/GH/Day and the other 6BTC/GH/DAY on the alog's???

Please let us know, I see right now the X11 paying about 1 BTC/GH/DAY and on Nicehash we are around 0.50... I am sure its due to the fact that we are just starting, but any thoughts on these

Thanks

Yeah, that's a problem because the multialgo doesn't talk ... I can set a price threshold on both, great, but if I set to say > 0.05 or whatever, and they are both > 0.05, but say WH is 0.1 and NH is 0.2, I'm going to be working whichever is higher in my priority list, which may not be the one which is more profitable ...

I switched all my rigs to point to westhash as primary after seeing this announcement, but now I'm wondering if that was a bad idea since NH could be paying better at any given time ...

Yes, right now West has a higher payout because of that order at 2BTC/GH/Day on X11 but I am sure this order was placed by the owner of the great web site to lure people into switching to west...

The question will be what will happen when that order runs out, I see the next order is at 0.20 BTC which is actually getting filled.

if you look at nicehash side that order has no chance of getting filled now, actually there isn't an order under 0.50 that is getting filled..

So for right now Westhash is great for buyers but not sellers...

I am assuming the owner will keep the nice 2.0 BTC order up there until things even out but we will see what will happen when that order is gone...

I guess I need to add to my list of pools to check out WestHash and Nice Hash to see which is more profitable...
