westhash lower diff. rate my ass Tongue have 3 units on 2048 and 1 1mh/s unit on 1024 wth?
and i just refreshed again...now one unit is 4096...guess back to nicehash i go if diff. rate isn't lower there Sad

This was probably vardiff kicking in.
Try now. We have made it more loose on WestHash, since we have 0% load there - we can afford supporting really low diffs for now.

Sliver fish 28M asic have all reject like this:Invalid extranonce2 size

Unfortunately, we can't do anything on our side to fix this. Your miner is simply sending wrong extranonce2 (in size, but also as a number), which means that your shares would be 100% invalid. I really suggest you to put pressure on provider, because their miners software is not according to stratum protocol and that has to be fixed (you are limited to number of pools you can participate in).

I'm not having much luck on Westhash, I seem to be wasting hashes because when I check up on my progress the speed accepted in the worker is near nothing but my 5 minute speed accepted is 20+mhs.

Sometimes my worker accepted is 50% and my worker speeds rejected is 50%, is this because there is not many orders to fill on Westhash?

My Cgminer is:

0: ZUS ttyUSB0: Thunder X3     328 MHz   | 30.84M / 30.61Mh/s WU:26721.0/m

OHH.. also how do I give workers a name? is it user : btcaddress.workername ?

5min speed is most important (or if you mine from one payment to another - then check round speed - even more important). Your workers may loose speed shown on site, if your miner does not support extranonce subscription and is therefore often disconnected. But as long as 5min speed is close to your real speed, then everything is fine.

ok its working right now...1024 is the highest diff rate now..Thxs Smiley

i'm thinking so, if you think about it...instead of all the ppl buying hashing power on one site...there is now 2 to split up the hashing power...so they can get more hash for a lower rate...but if they think this is best for them...

I don't see why if they can't keep it all together with one site, then why not just get more servers for nicehash to handle the load? surely there are tons of DC's in eur....or is it the same problem as before...you have to have all the servers at one site? idk how all that stuff works

Just a heads up. Tried to use westhash a few times and I've gotten on there once or twice but currently trying to repoint 2+TH of SHA and getting dead on the pool. Same miners are just chugging away on Nicehash without issue. Something with the DoS protection maybe?.

Yeah got the same issue with my US DC. EU DC on Nice is fine. Please fix asap, thx.

Write to info@nicehash.com with some more information (what miners, your IP and if you could provide packet sniff logs).

Westhash connections seem to be clear now. Moved 2+TH SHA over without issue.

I'm consistently getting about a 10% lower hashrate from Nicehash than multipool.us ... I thought it may have just been network related, but I just noticed most of my rejects say this -

Code:
 [2014-07-27 21:47:48] Rejected 3235311f Diff 1.3K/512 AS2 0 pool 0 (Invalid ntime rolling.)
 [2014-07-27 21:47:50] Accepted 0963b632 Diff 6.98K/512 AS2 0 pool 0
 [2014-07-27 21:47:52] Accepted 0eaf3303 Diff 4.46K/512 AS2 0 pool 0
 [2014-07-27 21:47:53] Accepted 2f8a9177 Diff 1.38K/512 AS2 0 pool 0
 [2014-07-27 21:47:55] Rejected 1cc9bed3 Diff 2.28K/512 AS2 0 pool 0 (Invalid ntime rolling.)
 [2014-07-27 21:47:56] Accepted 7f3e1e32 Diff 515/512 AS2 0 pool 0
 [2014-07-27 21:47:58] Rejected 59d3794f Diff 730/512 AS2 0 pool 0 (Invalid ntime rolling.)

I'm guessing that's what is killing my hashrate ... any known fixes for this?  There's VERY little information online about rolling ntime period, and pretty much nothing about shares being rejected with this error ...

Antminer S2 running cgminer 4.3.5.

Now I'm producing invalid shares and being directed to the FAQ with that same miner ... did you change the way the pool handles invalid ntime?  If so the FAQ could use an update because it doesn't address this specifically ...

Are you getting 100% rejects with share above target?

UPDATE regarding ASICs

If you were experiencing around 30% reject rates when using ASICs (scrypt and SHA256), this might be fixed now. We permit ntime rolling into the future for 1000 seconds (default slushs implementation of stratum, some pool implementations allow even higher ntime future rolling).

If you are hash buyer using own pool and if you have issues regarding blocks (generating not valid blocks), please let us know that ASAP - in such case, we will have to revert this fix.

BRILLIANT!!!  Just switched my Terraminer IV over to Nicehash again and NO REJECTS (last week was getting up to 80% rejects!)  Only been running a few minutes though, so we'll see if this stays stable...  but thanks for sorting this out....

It is. But when it is dead, it is moved down the list under among dead orders.

Looking much better now with the ntime fix. Also WestHash seems to be more reactive the last couple of days. RJ is down to <5%.

Now please give scrypt profitability a boost again  Tongue

Need more SHA miners to switch over to westhash. Have 2 big orders priced higher than nicehash with only 11TH available to work them at this time.

The price is abysmal, why would anyone mine there as opposed to e.g. Eligius or P2Pool, not to mention rental sites.

splitting the site in 2 was the worst idea ever IMO, earnings got a LOT lower ... its a win only for NH not for sellers ...

Yes. If it is combined the hashes would be greater and can buy more hashes. Anybody know why it was splitted? Can you make a short notice and can you combine it? At least make it as a merged pool, so that both the hashes on westhash can be on nicehash too?

Kindly,

74TH on nicehash @ 0.0257 BTC/TH/Day
11TH on westhast @ 0.0269 BTC/TH/Day

Simple math maybe.

Maybe I haven't had enough coffee yet, but does this "singular" vision also extend to miners and their mining balance?  I have some residual coins in nicehash.com when I moved my miners over to westhash.com.  Is there a way to merge that?

Had the opposite. Tiny balance on westhash. Seemed to merge once a day.. will update if / when it does.. Now I'm heavy on West and sub 100k satoshi's on Nicehash. We'll see.

Westhash is one of the worst stunts ever.
Close it now and stop beng silly.

Yes, Nicehash needs more servers to better handle higher loads. Yes, Nicehash needs geographically disperse stratums. What it doesn't need is a competing service called westhash.

Get your shit together, this is not how you do it.
