EDIT*****

Ok I found my stats by searching for my BTC address.

Also I wanted to add that I had tested all algos before adding Nicehash to the profiles.

Also another side note. Port 4336 (x11) just came alive so I switched to it in PIMP.

What I want is to not have to switch.

If, for example, x13 comes alive (which I assume means its now more profitable) then I want PIMP to just start using it.

Are my assumptions above correct?

I am answering more of my own questions lol. The least most profitable port will show as dead according to FAQ.

So if I understand all this now (I think I do), technically the only way I will ever switch to IPOminer is if an algo other then x11 or x13 become more profitable.

Can someone from Nicehash confirm that statement please.

Not from nicehash, but the way I understand it to work is this.

The backup pool is just that. A backup pool and is never used at all in calculations. The only time that you would switch to it is if all stratums at nicehash/westhash were dead. Even if Scrypt-N is most profitable, the algo would find the best paying of your suggested algo's and mine that with 1 exception. If you use the p=xxx in your password field for each algo you have selected. If the price does not match or exceed the p= value then you would fall to the backup pool.

the market is a little down but mostly because they decided to average the prices for both websites that killed their prices.

With the next difficulty level coming on BTC will that make ghash's more expensvie to purchase for the cloud services or cheaper?  You will have to buy more to get the same out as now so I'm thinking they will be lower value as they can't produce as much.

I would at least advise to try to make the order book central (common to all regions).

I totally agree with you...

Profit on Nicehash has been less then other multipool in the last few days

On the SHA-256 side I have never made as much as the calc have said i should except on Nicehash.  Thanks Nicehash!

this is how you set your prices as a seller.

https://www.nicehash.com/?p=faq#faqs4

Just use pool fail over and the sellers can easily control the price. If you want more and you all set the price high enough then it will move.  It would have to be a coordinated effort.

I suggest we don't sell unless the price on SHA-256 is .03/Thash

okay  you posted in the s-3 thread.  So I am in the USA and I joined west hash.

Just giving this a try.  I have some Antminer S1's that are getting nothing but rejects.  Others seem to be OK.
Any idea why this would be?

I am new to this about an hour in.    I set 3 s-3's to westhash as I am usa.  I used the same btc addy for all three.

I wonder if using 1 or 2 per btc addy is better.  do you have like 10 s-1's set to 1 btc addy?

I don't think setting multiple addresses makes a difference.  I have 20 or so S3's hooked up now on one address (you can can guess which one on the miner page).  No issues.  The only issue is 2 out of my 6 S1's get nothing but rejects right from the get go.  The others seem stable.  I think the S1's with an issue are very early versions.  I may or may not have updated firmware on them.
I am also having trouble getting cgminer to get a live pool with the Westhash address.  Tried a couple of different ways but no luck yet.  I run some Goldrush and Pepper Mining boards off PC's.  But those are staying on ghash until I can figure out how to get it to recognize the pool.

EDIT - just started myself.  We must have seen the same link in a post.  Cheesy

100% rejects are due to the bug in cgminer software. Update firmware and you will be good to go with no very little rejects.

I didn't bother with westhash but I guess i could.

I'm using the second firmware that bitmain posted but not the latest with almost no errors on 12 S3's.  make sure you set p=.0252 if you want to work on other pools in the password.  This will cut you off of westhash or nicehash if their are no premium work loads.

I would use the same BTC addy for them all but that is up to you.  They pay the addy direct and if you want to see your hash rate you look it up by the addy.  I make seperate BTC addy's for eachpool so I can tell whereI'm getting paid from.  Just for my own info.  all the same would work also.

Also this world my change after the next difficulty comes in so stay tuned.

How about cgminer direct?  I have tried:
stratum.westhash.com:3334 and
stratum+tcp://stratum.westhash.com:3334
Neither will connect.

EDIT - Got it working.  Not sure how. Thanks for your patience.

I'm running two S3 with the July 21st firmware and they have been connected to Nicehash for the last two weeks. Sometimes they are with a 0,0% reject rate for many hours then suddenly the reject rate climbs to stupid numbers for some minutes, maybe half an hour. Then everything goes back to normal....  Huh

What do you meant direct?  I just have pool 1 set as nicehash

for westhash you would use

stratum+tcp://stratum.westhash.com:3334
your BTC addy...as username ex 1GAdKk4Hn5XEJDgyJNHLBnZWrpSwmrzPMQ
password I set p=.0255 so that my miners flip to better pools once they run out of higher paying work.

Therefor Pools 2 and 3 are your next favorite pools that you want to hash on for luck or steady payouts.

I have only seen this once and I'm guessing when the miners where changing work orders maybe they were screwed up?  Mine sorted themselves in a few minutes also and I have not seen it since.

Maybe one of the Devs can help here.

I have some undervolted s1's @140 here and rejected is .2%. I do remember trying Nicehash a while back and I think I had issues with my S1's. I'm not seeing that now for some reason. They were not undervolted before.
I just tried westhash today for first time.

I have connected my 4 S3 to nicehash, in BTCGuild they were hashing at +1.90TH/S, never dropping below,
but on nicehash they even hash at 1.5TH/S which is impossible.
Are they stealing hash or what is happening here ?
