Why do people think it is going to hit 10,000 for sure? I don't understand where you are coming from...and if you were so sure that Bitcoin was going to be huge, I am guessing you have over 1million BTC....If I knew it would be that big I would have hopped on board when they first came out..
because still big merchants have not accepted it, this will lead to a better value for sure, 10k would be hit in 2016 imho as long as it is accepted more , the price will be achieved. Not sure the if $10000 level will be achieved or not, but the bitcoin price will definitely go up significantly with better adoption and acceptance. |

It is almost impossible to hit $10,000. Today 1BTC=$477.34 . Few days ago it was like $525. So I don't think BTC will ever be able to hit $10,000.
Btc went from 30 to like 2 dollars once, it means nothing. People panic sold their bitcoin when the price dropped from $1100 to $600, because they haven't experienced the previous "crash" from $250 to below $100 within 24 hours. |

Btc went from 30 to like 2 dollars once, it means nothing. People panic sold their bitcoin when the price dropped from $1100 to $600, because they haven't experienced the previous "crash" from $250 to below $100 within 24 hours. This is true. I panic sold 1/3rd of my holdings at $125 on the way down. I haven't sold shit from $1200 down to $400... just keep buying to make up for my mistake. |

Don't think about $10,000. It is impossible to reach $10,000. I think Bitcoin won't be able to reach $1000 in near future.

I think we will start seeing huge price increases when it halves the next 2 times. so in about 5-6 years is when I expect it to explode. That is if bitcoin keeps going like it has been.

I believe a time will come when people see Bitcoin as Gold 2.0. It will take time, but slowly, all will come to see it's financial benefits. Then, a day will come when there is a lot of panic buying. I look forward to that day

I highly doubt that. After Dell announced accepting bitcoin in mid July, the bitcoin price doesn't get much support at all, and in turn goes down slightly. I don't believe the price can go up 20 times in a few months for that. |

Yeah, seems rather improbable as of now. We could still see a bubble that big, maybe if Amazon or some medium-sized country officially accepted/endorsed Bitcoin in some way. But I'd also go and proclaim that this won't happen this year, maybe not even next year! |
