So, do we really need the new wallet for anything to work?

Do we NEED one for any reason? No if the current one is working. But if you look at some other POS wallets, there are some nice features. The Summercoin wallet, for example, has the unlock button on the main page (so it's easier to unlock), plus it has a nice icon indicator that turns green when you have eligible coins and goes grey when you don't. Plus it has an estimation (not accurate though) that says what your stake weight is, estimated minutes until possible stake, etc...

SO the DEV is not needed. And a new wallet is also NOT NEEDED!!!

Hi all, I am new here.

I see some people asking for new wallet, and someone just posted a picture of wallet with Stake.
So, do we really need the new wallet for anything to work?

A little bit info to share:
In the wallet debug window, type getmininginfo and you will see a line like this
"keypoololdest" : 1398657969,
copy the number and convert it at http://www.epochconverter.com/
and you should see a time
this should be the oldest coinage, so 2 weeks later of this time, you will get some stakes (after sync).

That's all I get......"keypoololdest" is not there.

Edit: "getinfo" is the command that works....great info though...thanks!!!

If any one not getting "getinfo" command in wallet debug to show the "keypoololdest, first make a configuration file on notepad using the configuration listed on the OP first page and save it as Asiacoin.conf in C -User-App Data-Roaming- Asiacoin folder. Then use the "getinfo" command to show your "keypoololdest" in debug window.

You can unlock it only for minting. There was an explanation how to do this on the Fluttercoin thread but I am too lazy to find it.

it can be encrypted. but it must be UNLOCKED. (Settings/Unlock Wallet)

you can also just unlock it for PoS minting. So transaction won't go out,
but staking works:

I bought 500k between 100 and 150 sats then sold 200k between 1300 and 2200 which I invested in AC (renting rigs and buying). Flutter is one of my favorite coins and I am holding the other 300k long term.

But if pos is working great then how come The price is not going above 16-1700 anymore?
It does has alot of support at 1500 so it wont drop much below that but still what the fuck? I dont get it. I can see volume dropping out because people are going to stake their coins. No other coin is getting the volume back at mintpal so thats good.

But still why is the price not going up then.. All because of the dev not having said something on the day of pos?
