I hope that the exchanges have learned something from this and from now on utleast they will check the coins' code thoroughly, before blindly adding them because of.. profit. What happened also hurt the reputation of the exchanges this coin was traded. This prior check can be done, yes? If so, why isn't it happening

no they wont..they are really interested in making money

Holding 700,000 AC...

A few ways it can go from here -

1) The developer turns out to be a complete piece of shit and we never hear from them again. We put up 10BTC for a sophisticated blockchain fix that MAY or MAY NOT stop the bleeding. Assuming it does, think about the momentum we'll have?  Forget the "official multipool" news. We would enter the same category as WC but worse. zero demand will we see for a scamcoin. No way to cash out. Game over.

2) The developer miraculously comes back with proof that AC was hacked AND that he can fix the blockchain so 3B additional coins don't exist. Follows it up with announcement for official multipool. Exchanges reinstate AC instantly. Anything could happen from there.

As my rage is starting to subside I tell myself to prepare for the worst but hope for the best.

I'm proposing, if this guy didn't relaunch, we do this:

Start another PoW+PoS coin, this time with a proper developer and team. The coin will have 1 or 2 weeks of PoW. 50% premine, which all the premine would go to the people who have AC (according to the amount they hold).

This way, we will have a new coin, and also benefits would go to the people who have had AC.

Edit: I have 1m AC, if you wanna add that next to my name.

If you're happy with our work on AsiaCoin revival, please consider giving us trust feedback and provide donations to the new AsiaCoin Foundation.

They will still be making money if they do it the right way. Worse reputation = less trade(r)s = less money Smiley Think of it them as a store that sell food (what comes to my mind).. A new food called Yamifood is created, people vote for it to be included in that store. The store has the responsibility to investigate the quality of the stuff it is selling. A weird example, but you get my point I hope.

Dear Asiacoin community,

We, the Pandacoin (PND) devs feel like giving back to the community with the recent Asiacoin blow up, as part of our coin’s origins and philosophy is to stand against cryptocurrency manipulation and scams. We would like to offer some sort of compensation to current Asiacoin bagholders that have lost money with the recent turmoil in the coin.

Compensation offer:

If you can provide proof of the amount of Asiacoin that you are currently bagholding, for the first 10 people that take up this offer, we will send you x10 amount the of Pandacoins (PND) that you hold in terms of Asiacoin! So for example, if you hold 10,000 Asiacoin, and is the first 10 to take this offer up, we will send you 100,000 Pandacoins (PND).

After the first 10 replies, we are still willing to send you the amount of Pandacoins (PND) to a 1:1 ratio for the amount of Asiacoin that you hold.

Disclaimer: Maximum 150,000 Pandacoin (PND) per individual, wallet address, and bitcointalk account. Only bitcointalk accounts over 7 days old will be considered

Ok sounds good! How do I get some free Pandacoins? -

Step 1: Getting your Pandacoin (PND) wallet - Download our wallet by going to either https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=568529.0 or http://thepandacoin.net/ and generating a Pandacoin (PND) deposit address

Step 2: Providing Proof

In your AsiaCoin wallet, go to File > Sign Message. Then click on the address book button next to the address input field and select your address. Then, enter your Bitcointalk forum username in the text box and click the sign message button. Finally, click the copy signature button next to the signature field and paste it in the message for Step 3.

Step 3: Contacting us with the information to receive our compensation offer - Go to https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=568529.0 and reply with a post containing the proof of your signature embedded with the address from Step 2, along with your Pandacoin (PND) wallet address to receive our compensation offer for Asiacoin bagholders!

Your post should look something like this with the following example -

Asiacoin address: ALR6861XReyWD25RrJjzgY1GLe75MLH4DR

Balance: 1000.1234

Proof: IGkFFI3T29GrP55FqnmkOarblqUsmmfG7XxwwaYYQiwR8wV1hc2QpG7jEUshh1N4pk2uckdid3xDM4d 3AkA/WBY=

Pandacoin (PND) wallet address: PHFByB65qhEkG9SK8UjY94t7Phoqq8vnSr

Kind regards,

Pandacoin (PND) development team.

For people that are realizing this coin is a scam with upwards to 3.2 billion coins premined and are looking for an honest alternative coin to invest in, consider checking out Pandacoin (PND) -

Asia oriented with strong symbolism embedded, 0% premine, no IPO, no instamined bs for a select few, 450+ mhs and growing multipool, PoS implemented sometime next week, trading in mintpal + other exchanges and have actual Chinese in their active dev team that's living in China to spread adoption in the East

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=568529.0
Lol.... no.... in Wolong I don't trust

This is not Wolong's coin, in fact Pandacoin (PND) were created at the start to counter any chances of Wolong's coin of raping people's money by the community of 4chan as they knew he was a huge scammer and wanted to troll him.

Wolong's coin had 3% premine, IPO, a scam dev team that now abandoned the coin, is n-scrypt and is dead.

But Pandacoin (PND)? 0% premine, no IPO, no instamined bs for a select few, 450+ mhs and growing multipool, PoS implemented sometime next week, trading in mintpal + other exchanges and have actual Chinese in their active dev team that's living in China to spread adoption in the East

Pandacoin (PND) has all the traits that I've listed and NO WOLONG INVOLVEMENT, and since Wolong is gone and his coin is essentially dead, we've continued to innovate and survive with a strong community and an active development team.

Please do your research and don't categorize and group Pandacoin (PND) with Wolong's coin, as ours helped kill off his coin and stop his scammy ways. If you would like more information about our past and how Pandacoin (PND) initially were created to COUNTER WOLONG's shitcoin, read 'A Brief History of Pandacoin (PND)' https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=568529.0  to see how honesty and fairness is a core value driven hard by the active dev team.

tl;dr think of Good Panda vs Bad Panda. Pandacoin (PND) = Good Panda. Wolong's shitcoin = Bad Panda.

Don't get scammed or buy into SHITCOINS with instant mines, fast mines or premines - http://www.devtome.com/doku.php?id=a_massive_investigation_of_instamines_and_fastmines_for_the_top_alt_coins
