Holding 700,000 AC...

A few ways it can go from here -

1) The developer turns out to be a complete piece of shit and we never hear from them again. We put up 10BTC for a sophisticated blockchain fix that MAY or MAY NOT stop the bleeding. Assuming it does, think about the momentum we'll have?  Forget the "official multipool" news. We would enter the same category as WC but worse. zero demand will we see for a scamcoin. No way to cash out. Game over.

2) The developer miraculously comes back with proof that AC was hacked AND that he can fix the blockchain so 3B additional coins don't exist. Follows it up with announcement for official multipool. Exchanges reinstate AC instantly. Anything could happen from there.

As my rage is starting to subside I tell myself to prepare for the worst but hope for the best.

CB

crypto_bull : perfect reasoning. only one question: how much from 3.2B extra coins already sold for BTC ? this is important question. could someone try to estimate this number ?

Dear Asiacoin community,

We, the Pandacoin (PND) devs feel like giving back to the community with the recent Asiacoin blow up, as part of our coin’s origins and philosophy is to stand against cryptocurrency manipulation and scams. We would like to offer some sort of compensation to current Asiacoin bagholders that have lost money with the recent turmoil in the coin.

Compensation offer:

If you can provide proof of the amount of Asiacoin that you are currently bagholding, for the first 10 people that take up this offer, we will send you x10 amount the of Pandacoins (PND) that you hold in terms of Asiacoin! So for example, if you hold 10,000 Asiacoin, and is the first 10 to take this offer up, we will send you 100,000 Pandacoins (PND).

After the first 10 replies, we are still willing to send you the amount of Pandacoins (PND) to a 1:1 ratio for the amount of Asiacoin that you hold.

Disclaimer: Maximum 150,000 Pandacoin (PND) per individual, wallet address, and bitcointalk account. Only bitcointalk accounts over 7 days old will be considered

Ok sounds good! How do I get some free Pandacoins? -

Step 1: Getting your Pandacoin (PND) wallet - Download our wallet by going to either https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=568529.0 or http://thepandacoin.net/ and generating a Pandacoin (PND) deposit address

Step 2: Providing Proof

In your AsiaCoin wallet, go to File > Sign Message. Then click on the address book button next to the address input field and select your address. Then, enter your Bitcointalk forum username in the text box and click the sign message button. Finally, click the copy signature button next to the signature field and paste it in the message for Step 3.

Step 3: Contacting us with the information to receive our compensation offer - Go to https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=568529.0 and reply with a post containing the proof of your signature embedded with the address from Step 2, along with your Pandacoin (PND) wallet address to receive our compensation offer for Asiacoin bagholders!

Your post should look something like this with the following example -

Asiacoin address: ALR6861XReyWD25RrJjzgY1GLe75MLH4DR

Balance: 1000.1234

Proof: IGkFFI3T29GrP55FqnmkOarblqUsmmfG7XxwwaYYQiwR8wV1hc2QpG7jEUshh1N4pk2uckdid3xDM4d 3AkA/WBY=

Pandacoin (PND) wallet address: PHFByB65qhEkG9SK8UjY94t7Phoqq8vnSr

Kind regards,

Pandacoin (PND) development team.

i only lost 5,000 Asia coin, i didn't buy asiacoin, only mined 10,000 and sold half of it.
thanks for your offer, but i really don't want it, just now i did research and PND have a total of 100 billion, while asia have only 1/1000 of it,
no body will care this convertion, even those with 1 million coins

it is really not fun for you PND to make your promotion here at this time

Hi I'm a member of the Pandacoin (PND) development team. Please don't dish out baseless accusations and group us with the Asiacoin devs without doing any research on our coin or any fact checking. We are in no way affiliated with your community's developers. We pride ourselves as an honest coin with origins that put a stop to Wolong's infamous scam that robbed people of tens of thousands of dollars.

We understand that your community has been badly burnt with this mess that has unfortunately occurred, but understand that Pandacoin (PND) has 0% premine, no IPO, no instamined unfairness or any sorts.

If you are not interested in our compensation offer that is fine, but please do not group us with a group of people that like to make money off innocent people, as that is not who we are.

you have a virus in a wallet

please leave the asia coin forum

"a variant of Win32/BitCoinMiner.BJ"

http://worldcoinforum.org/topic/1777-eset-nod32/

"Just report as false positive."

"btw. wallet is a miner / solo miner Wink that's why its flagged"

Most wallets will be flagged with "a variant of Win32/BitCoinMiner.BJ". I would do a proof showing you it's same for Asiacoin wallet...but I can't even find a download link. But for proof, here is Litecoin and Dogecoin's wallet being flagged for the same thing to show that I'm not lying:

Litecoin: https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/fd11c19cfd94367c22beb202b20b9edd2ef65a12b2a23bda473b296a0c9683d8/analysis/

Dogecoin:

https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/550a198d6106b18b26c5bad54f6cb622e848cafc38db9d80425495f77486f45e/analysis/

You can't exactly claim that Litecoin and Dogecoin's wallets are embedded with virus too right?

Please don't spread FUD regarding our virus-free wallet, when there's already people doing the Asiacoin4PND compensation that are initiating.

It's understandable if you are not interested in our free coin offer. But please don't put out lies regarding our coin.

if you are a gun-for-hire, what is your price?

If I were to put a price to it.. (and note: I'm still not signing up for it).

I think it would be fair to place a 10 BTC bounty on an effort that would preserve the existing "network".

This is a much bigger job than the WC folks.. it requires some surgical scripts to be created.

Can you pay with Asiacoin?  Cheesy

The high coincap is to reflect the high population count over in SE Asia. More than half of the world's population is in that region and Pandacoin (PND) is designed to be used as a currency, hence the coincap numbers.

Ya'll can still stake the coins in your wallet. In the meanwhile, there will be a fix coming soon.

no fix..dev already fled

We do not need the dev, but instead the community can come together and create a solution to fix this.
