if you guys don't mind me saying ECCoin is a coin I development that seems much more promising and severally under valued. I suggest checking that out if u plan on making back some of your AC loses. we were gonna put more into AC but thank god we didn't. redirecting the rest of our money to ECCoin, hopefully it pays off.

I watched cryptsy free fall to 200.

Then Poloniex opened their markets and some people were able to cash out still high in the 1000 mark.. then of course it was promptly frozen.

I WANT OUT TOO with my 12k, maybe I should create an exchange too and when this occurs I can at least get out when I want too and not be stuck with dead coins.

send me your coins
Yeah thats so not going to happen.. They are/were in transit to crypsty - then they shut it down. So I have a confirmation its been sent from mint, I cant withdraw shit.  And no I wouldnt give them to the first forum knob jockey who asks.

your statement is disturbing in that you still don't get it when it's clearly spelt out for all to see.. sad ..because i doubt your the only one.

you guys are dumb and greedy and you will suffer for it accordingly.

You have to say, the exchanges were well payed to shut down the ac/btc exchange at exactly the same time.

Well played, Cinni team. And to the other 8 people who started it all in our topic. Though, none of them actually had any programming expertise. The first time I see a community to go down so easily.
Even if there was hidden premine, noone can say how big it is. Also no one will say, why if there was a hidden premine, the price reached 2000 satoshi and didn't plummet, if the dev really had these premined coins.

You were tricked very easy.

  • Recently,a lot of Country Coin have been created with a huge % of the premine ( 48% + ). Then the coins were distributed to the people living in the country.For freedom, for finance or helping cryptocurrecny to be accepted by more and more people , however it seems to be a nice idea. But as we have seen, most of them are 100% HUGE SCAM. Because the huge premine is unfair to the miners and investors pay for the premined coins finally. So AsiaCoin is created without premine and IPO, it definitely fair to every miners and investors.
  • But a new problem has arisen which is important to any alternative coins - how to anti Pump And Dump? We think  that the multipool idea from BC is the most effective way to solve this problem. As planed, a multipool that pays out in Asiacoin will be built after the POW stage. This multipool will support the long term growth and profitability of Asiacoin. We set the fee to 2% and it will be used for the developement , promotion and also giveaway.

  • This is a simple plan of Asiacoin ,and we believe it would work pretty well. More details will follow after the launch.If you have some ideas,please contact us via email. contact@theasiacoin.com

  • What is PoS?
    Proof of Stake. Your cryptos produce interest in wallet as long as you keep them. So you don't have to mine and so nature protected.
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Proof-of-stake
  • First year stake interest is 100%? It's too high.
    Yes,most Cryptos with PoS has little stake interest from 1% to 5%. But you should notice that Asiacoin has an annual PoS interest of 2% since Year 2. The design of first year stake interest is more like a continuance of PoW. It's real energy efficiency because interest under 5% is originally designed to prevent deflation.
  • What sould I do to start PoS mining?
    Have your wallet unlocked and online.
  • Is AC equipped with Kimoto Gravity Well / KGW?
    No, KGW is not needed because the difficulty retargets with every block.
  • How can I help?
    If you have any desire to be part of something big, feel free to send us a message with skills you possess and we would be happy to discuss any opportunity with the AsiaCoin Development team.
We are waiting the author to come back regrlarly.

the dev was gone! The trick was planed before the launch, just check the source file.

Response from MP about the account with largest AC deposit, that could probably to dump the premine coins yesterday.

Hi Soad,

The largest deposit we've had is just under 3 million. We don't actually believe any of the premine has been deposited to us from what we can see, or only a very tiny amount would have been if so. However, as the coins are there, there was the risk that it could be dumped at any point, or it could of course have gone to another exchange.

Regards,
Jay

Is asiaCoin vers.2 realistic or this is another scam?
How could the exchanges not see that,error or something wrong in the source code?
can we organise people from our great community to resurect the coin in someway?

This was the first coin i was supporting for long term .... So sad about this....te community must deal with this because the dev isnt.....

Regards,
Jay

this is great info. if Mintpal ( they can professionally analyse sellers  IP's and analyze sellers behavior ) says we had no premined coins - it might be possible owner of premine has been waiting for more pumps at higher levels in order to multiply his profits. number of 160 million AC coins pointed by dev in his post might be true. this woul mean slightly over 10 % dilution for AC coins

Another scam

No one bothered to do a deepscan of the code.  It was right there all along.

Looks unlikely at this point.  Would need some serious prominent members to step up and exchange support..

Dear Asiacoin community,

We, the Pandacoin (PND) devs feel like giving back to the community with the recent Asiacoin blow up, as part of our coin’s origins and philosophy is to stand against cryptocurrency manipulation and scams. We would like to offer some sort of compensation to current Asiacoin bagholders that have lost money with the recent turmoil in the coin.

Compensation offer:

If you can provide proof of the amount of Asiacoin that you are currently bagholding, for the first 10 people that take up this offer, we will send you x10 amount the of Pandacoins (PND) that you hold in terms of Asiacoin! So for example, if you hold 10,000 Asiacoin, and is the first 10 to take this offer up, we will send you 100,000 Pandacoins (PND).

After the first 10 replies, we are still willing to send you the amount of Pandacoins (PND) to a 1:1 ratio for the amount of Asiacoin that you hold. For anyone with less than 50,000 Asiacoins, the minimum of Pandacoins (PND) received from us is still going to be 50,000!

Disclaimer: Maximum 150,000 Pandacoin (PND) per individual, wallet address, and bitcointalk account. Only bitcointalk accounts over 7 days old will be considered

Ok sounds good! How do I get some free Pandacoins? -

Step 1: Getting your Pandacoin (PND) wallet - Download our wallet by going to either https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=568529.0 or http://thepandacoin.net/ and generating a Pandacoin (PND) deposit address

Step 2: Providing Proof

In your AsiaCoin wallet, go to File > Sign Message. Then click on the address book button next to the address input field and select your address. Then, enter your Bitcointalk forum username in the text box and click the sign message button. Finally, click the copy signature button next to the signature field and paste it in the message for Step 3.

Step 3: Contacting us with the information to receive our compensation offer - Go to https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=568529.0 and reply with a post containing the proof of your signature embedded with the address from Step 2, along with your Pandacoin (PND) wallet address to receive our compensation offer for Asiacoin bagholders!

Your post should look something like this with the following example -

Asiacoin address: ALR6861XReyWD25RrJjzgY1GLe75MLH4DR

Balance: 1000.1234

Proof: IGkFFI3T29GrP55FqnmkOarblqUsmmfG7XxwwaYYQiwR8wV1hc2QpG7jEUshh1N4pk2uckdid3xDM4d 3AkA/WBY=

Pandacoin (PND) wallet address: PHFByB65qhEkG9SK8UjY94t7Phoqq8vnSr

Kind regards,

Pandacoin (PND) development team.

Edit: If your coins are trapped in an exchange, so you can't do step 2. You can provide a screenshot in your post over at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=568529.0in place of step 2 that was listed! I had many people telling me that their exchanges are trapping their coins, so there we go Smiley

Ok so here are my findings so far. Please correct me if any of this is wrong. Im on about 24 hours without sleep at this point

Note these:

static const int64 MIN_SUPPLY = 1

static const int64 MIN_STAGE_AMOUNT = 10

(Both in main.h I believe)

Here is the meat

Bypass function 1

Code:
if (txout.nValue > MAX_MONEY * MIN_STAGE_AMOUNT)

return DoS(100, error("CTransaction::CheckTransaction() : txout.nValue too high"));

Which should say if a transaction is larger than MAX_MONEY return error.

But is modified to say

If transaction is larger than MAX_MONEY * 10 ( = 3.4 Billion) return error

Bypass Function 2

Code:
	if (vtx[0].GetValueOut() > GetProofOfWorkReward(pindex->nHeight, nFees) && pindex->nHeight != MIN_SUPPLY)
return false;

This should state. If BlockValue is larger than GetProofOfWorkReward return false

But is modified to say

If BlockValue is larger than GetProofOfWorkReward And is not block 1 return false

Bypass Function 3

MAX_MINT_PROOF_OF_WORK is just completely removed

There are still a few things im uncertain about. But the database does not lie.
