Objectively speaking, Monero is the only coin with actual future. If any other coin wins is because of hype and marketing and not because it's a better product.

1. Objectively speaking, you used the term "objectively" without any reference to the evidence you have to make an assertion.

2. If we are talking about "coin" in terms of currency, technology is only useful insofar that it protects users from harm and ensures the coin is user friendly.

I fail to see what Monero offers in those terms.

Thanks for the link I'm interested to see what will be the outcome, how it works and rate it is being adopted.  I was very confused about this and Darkcoin for a good while.  I'll look for main page here but I'm leaning towards giving this coin a try.

Darkwallet is not a coin - its a centralized coinjoin mixing service attached to bitcoin through a chrome plug-in. I wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole is my recommendation.

That's true most of these coins in the poll are just copies trying to do the same thing and will reach the death the same way too. I don't get why people try to copy peoples ideas which have already failed.
