I'm betting pretty heavily on Monero (XMR) It provides a superior anonymity solution to DRK or other cryptos as it doesnt even have a blockchain to search. With the code being written from scratch and a strong dev team it's expected to compete with Litecoin and Darkcoin in the coming year (We've already been seeing massive selloffs in DRK and LTC recently, while Monero XMR has been holding strong) More info here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=583449.0Well we have seen sellsoffs of XMR at the same time when this happened with DRK. The market was very troublesome at that time but it has started to get better. I'm thinking that LTC will fall off at some point and that XMR and DRK could be the competing coins.

The PoW regime might be over all the altcoins. LTC will most likely fall off, but I doubt it will be replace by another PoW anon coin. Nxt, NEM and Ethereum so far prove to have bigger audience than drk and xmr.

Sorry I'm not into wannabe Crypto 2.0 coins that are used to get people out of their money. They can have an audience as wide as they want, but they aren't going to have me and my buddies. Actually quite a good portion of the older/smarter members avoid this section completely.

Ha ha only one 1st gen coin will live for some time - BTC, evertyhing else 1st gen is totaly useless and worthless... 2nd gen platforms will rise because they are not coins, they are platforms...
Great amount of energy is used for developing 2nd gen platforms... now it's like a coil spring that is just absorbing energy, but once there is enough strenght accumulated it will burst and it will move markets heavily...
And the winners won't be the people holding 1st gen coins...

I'm betting on BCN - it's been stable for two years running and I like what the devs team is doing - CN technology is the future coming.

Right you are! BCN has already shown it's worth to be a winner as it works fine and there is no botnets and is based on revolutionary technology that has lots of advantages.

My vote was for Bytecoin. And you know why? Because BCN can give a real feelling of anonymity.
The way of how you can spend your BCN and the feeling of how cool your community is unforgettable.

Anonymity is indeed one of the Bytecoin’s and CryptoNote’s core features, but not the only one. However, narrowing the scope of this question down to anonymous transactions only, I’m confident that BCN offers the most advanced solution.

Something like that was said by one great alternative currency developer. And by the way, Bytecoin has caught my attention as being something a little bit different for three reasons: pedigree, anonymity. For sure, there are a lot of different currencies but as for me - the answer will be "BCN".

BCN shills puppet accounts at full force, thats why I never trust a pool on btctalk Then you should stay away from Bitcointalk. What's wrong with you people? I'm not actually a BCN user but after reading you in the topic where BCN not even in a top 10 I'm getting tired. The only thing you can do in this sweet pool is flaming and i'm sick of it. Bitcointalk is a nice place with a nice pools and if you say that you can't trust a Bitcointalk community it means that we can't trust you.

Exactly how many more puppet accounts to you guys intend to make? BCN is a scam, it's dying. Nobody cares about it. I am advising here publicly that everyone stays away from it !

As being a newbie i would ask you to give a proofs of your words. You call BCN a scam, you said that it's dying but i didn't read about it and it's seems to me that nobody can give such information becuse you people doesn't know it. This forum is full of tipic like "%currency_name% economy" or "let's forecast!". Nobody knows what is happening so you can't say that something is dying. That's my opinion

Voted for Bytecoin. Which is probably the most anonymous out of all anonymous coins listed.
