Excited to see the devs working on relaunching this coin. Keep up the good work and continue on the rebranding by further integrating the logo into the homepage, twitter, mining pool pages and other social media accounts like facebook.
I come from a PR background and would like to volunteer my services and expertise to help make this coin succeed. I see areas where it could be improved. PM for details if you like to take up my offer.
I am just a would be Pandacoin helper myself but what I have found here is Everyone is welcome to become panda and join in and help. We may want to consider having a committee of Official Pandacoin helpers and more community structure in the future but our Dev has been doing a great job of making things work well so far. Please keep us posted here as a group of any particulars and your perspective of priority, I have noticed more and more the rebranded coin look is showing up to at least some degree just about everywhere. There is much to do, thanks to anyone who can offer good ideas or specialty services that would help the Pandacoin image, the Pandacoin DEV / team or the Pandacoin community. Lets just all agree to work with our dedicated and professional DEV as he directs the Pandacoin team and helpers to realise the continued development, growth in use and acceptance of our Pandacoin PND. |

I'm already in contact with the author of that message so the marketing side of things (official relations, twitter, facebook) is currently being worked on, but more on that later. I can agree on the lack of structure as of now but as you said, everyone is welcome to contribute, should he/she so desire. Often I've seen requests about starting a foundation with PND so that will be on the to-do list. One thing I'd like everyone reading this to do is join #officialpandacoin on freenode. |

Trade volume has increased by quite a bit and is only increasing. Quite the same with the multipool hashrate now consistently being over 400 mhs! If you currently own PND: head over to https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=572462.new#new and have your say on whether the coin should implement PoS or not! |

It appears as though the owner of cryptokk took off with everyone's coins and shut down the service. I hope none of you had any PND or any other coins stored at this exchange... I did not bother using it since the overall appearance of the site looked rather 'dodgy'  More info available hereYou should remove the exchange from the OP. |

In stead of the poll I feel like we should just have a debate over the future of pnd. There will always be blind greedy people voting for POS. But what will truly benefit PND in the long run? I don't want to dismiss POS + multipool either.
To me, the most important aspect for pnd is distribution. Make it easy for people to get pnd so we can get more people into the pnd community. Merge mining seems the best fit for this. People mining doge will get free pnd, that will at least get their attention.
POS at this stage will seem like a pyramid scheme and discourage new comers.
So the question is short term profit and possibly kill the coin, or a long term, more sustainable plan, but not as much short term profit gain.
Which side does the community swing?

Which side does the community swing? The poll shows that it's divided (60/40). Of course a lot of holders are hyped by the short term perspectives of PoS especially since the multipool is working so well. On the other hand, there's also interest in merged mining, and everyone seems to agree that it is a more innovative solution that can put PND apart from all coins that try to emulate BC's success. Distribution is indeed a very important question and it is known that PoS coins can stall and decline after a while (a prime example of that is MINT, although it may be explained in part by hyperinflation in the early years - who thought 20% was a good idea??). While the ASIC issue is perfectly solved by PoS the long term viability is still questionable. I think an important side question that goes with merged mining is what PoW parameters to use - people are starting to realize that DOGE mining is getting close to an end which may be a little premature. I am honestly unsure what reward curve should be used if merged mining is chosen. |

If this keeps up I believe this will permit the funding of new sites and services as well as acceptance of our Pandacoin by many more of the existing ones.
