A few things to consider before updating:
1. You
NEED to back up your wallet.dat. The software will automatically do a copy but it's better to be sure.
2. The wallet will take around 10 minutes reindexing so please be patient.
3. The wallet might crash and give an error after importing (Windows 7 has been tested successfully). This is okay - just start the wallet again and you should be good to go.
