This coin has the dogecoin bug.
1. The the total number of coins is technically unlimited. 2. About 5 million will be minted total until the block reward goes to 1 coin. 3. The way it is coded makes the block reward stay at 1 indefinitely. 4. All blocks with a reward greater than 1 coin will be mined within the first year. 5. After that, 500,000 coins will be mined per year.
Do the devs know this? Will this coin end up like doge?

bctcoin and BCCdev wouldn't happen to be the same person would they? Both registered within a day of each other, both last active around the same time, both launched a coin with the same name within 30 minutes of each other. What, now you'll go to some other forums, create a user and create a coin for their forum? What does this have to do with bitcointalk besides using their name to promote your crappy coin?
Chances of this dev supporting the coin for years to come, 0%? Chances of this coin becoming a real currency, 0%? Point of this coin existing, 0%? How much devotion can you really have to bitcointalk when you've been registered for a month and made less than 5 posts before launching a coin. Seriously this crap makes a mockery of cryptocoins.
Can we have a way of policing new coin launches? Maybe one new coin max per month, put down to a vote? Every day there is some POS (and I don't mean proof of stake) coin launched that dilutes the existing coins and makes no improvements what-so-ever over the existing coins. There is absolutely no point in coins such as this one.

So how doge ended up? Isnt it still at top 10 coinmarketcap?

Dear tx42, Thanks for your spotting . We are planing to implement some Bonus Blocks near future . We will be restricting extra coins . Dear bangalore , Equate Thanks For your comments. Pending Incentives processing in next 1 Hour .Tommo_Aus , Thanks for your comment . Here we are not running any POS or IPO and not asking for any BTC Donations . We clearly posted About Coin , Purpose of Coins . We are processing incentives on time and every thing updated on our website http://www.bctcoin.com . Please don't compare both coins BCT & BCC . BCT : Official Website , Pool , Block Chain , Cause ( Charity ) Lots of Research involved , Windows , Mac , Linux Wallets . I hope it is not possible within 1 day or 2 days and you can check the first block mined time . No IPO or POS Scam , Not Asking or Accepting BTC Donations , Processing Promised Incentives . I hope there are many variations between 2 coins . Regards Team BCT.

Dear tx42, Thanks for your spotting. The fix is EASY: change the first line of GetBlockValue in main.cpp to have "0" instead of "1": int64 static GetBlockValue(int nHeight, int64 nFees, unsigned int nBits) { int64 nSubsidy = 0; // <=== THAT SHOULD BE ZERO (0)
if (nHeight <=10 ) { nSubsidy = 250000 * COIN; } /* For Premine */ else if (nHeight <= 2000) { nSubsidy = 2 * COIN; } /* Control Flow */ else if (nHeight <= 100000) { nSubsidy = 9 * COIN; } else if (nHeight <= 200000) { nSubsidy = 7 * COIN; } else if (nHeight <= 300000) { nSubsidy = 6 * COIN; } else if (nHeight <= 400000) { nSubsidy = 3 * COIN; } else if (nHeight <= 414048) { nSubsidy = 1 * COIN; }
return nSubsidy + nFees; }
Thanks for fixing this!

2 bitcointalkcoin? The other, BCC, will take your BTC for a small piece of an 0.5% pie, then give 50% (100 times the IPO) away to only those members of bitcointalk who specifically request the coin. What happens when 200 go after the IPO and 2000 ask for the airdrop? It's poorly thought out. At least BCT has some thinking behind it.

This coin is obviously the lesser of two evils. Still, this community has become depressing.
