7Mhs is only around 40 Core-i7 4770k. A lot of people in this world could have access to this computing power. Some botnet owners or gpools could have a few thousand CPUs available. CPU only-coins are very favorite in China because a lot of people have free access to this. |

as i see the pool efficiency is 15%
is it correct?
and which miner do you suggest for mining in your pool?
Many people try to mine with wrong miners / wrong algo, this invalidates the pool statistics, don't trust them, its all good. Use the cpuminer from the OP at the moment.. (from dstorm) We are all waiting for sph sgminer (gpu) ... |

Is "sgminer -k marucoin -o stratum+tcp://maru.altmine.net:8743 -u YOUR_WALLET -p x" OK, or does it require more parameters? I don't have a GPU to test with.

Difficulty 4.4 on CPU mining?
I really doubt there are 700 core i5 mining this... someone already has GPUs on this, I'm guessing devs had the GPU miner ready before release.
Suspected that yesterday as soon as this was released. Network hashrate was too high to be CPU only, unless someone got 700 core i5. |
