We also got some PM's wanting to make MaruCoin a POS coin only.
We are thinking about it, but since Block 15000 Rewards are much lower, so the early adopters already have "a bonus".. not sure if POS makes a big difference now

I've updated to the latest wallet and added the Node's from the Dev.
Your wallet's will need an update too, they will stay stuck on Block 14999, don't worry, all Transactions will be fine until the Dev releases the new wallets.
how to get the new version wallet ? |

Seems like something big's gonna happen. There is sudden buy interest on bittrex and the volume is up. What do you say guys??

I pulled the fix from GIT and found the 15000 block with my GPU  The fix doesn't actually solve the problem, it just ignores the checks block 15000. The same thing will happen next time the difficulty change is high. I have sent a patch to the developer which solves this problem. There is no bigger change in diff planned for the next time, so it should work fine. Thanks for your code, we will look over it and integrate it into our branch as soon as we have some time. Could you create a git pull request ? that would be much easier for us ! You need to make a redit forum for this coin I think and also really need to push this hard. This coin isn't even on CoinMarketCap... so I think plenty of potential still but you need to really push it hard. Do you not have any other people helping you with this coin ? |

It has also been trading back in attomic trade. Some guy bought 11k worth so must be speculating again. |

can you explain how the darksend works with this coin ? what does it mean darksend capable ? how do we use it ? Good to see the coin is doing strong over these days, we are planing some nice features and additions in the future.
Can someone recompile the source for the latest MacOS wallet ? Mac users are still waiting for an update.

Care to elaborate  I would like to know what you are working on, as would everyone else! You should show your face more often! We are currently working on the poll of the website for our first wildlife charity donation, we will for sure be more active as soon as we have some things (like the website) and other exchanges etc. sorted out. Its good to see that interest is here, we also had some inquiries for forks of MaruCoin or more precise, the X13 algo.. Of source everyone can uses it, even though MaruCoin uses X13 as the first coin, it is open source, fork as you like, thats what open source is for. A block explorer would be nice, if anyone is willing to create one, we could discuss about a bounty for that. On your webpage you say maru has darksend technology. Is this true? Also, could you update the title to reflect that is it gpu/mineable and include binaries to the gpuminer in the OP? Thanks. I'd be willing to help out on offering bounties if you need it. Yes, we've basically forked DarkCoin and EMC2 and ported it to X13, so MaruCoin is Darksend capable. We've updated the OP with the miner and also the title of the topic. Thanks for your great help !
