Am syncing the wallet from my oldest backup available was just before i updated to new version, so will see if that fixes the balance and PoS. If not i will try exporting and importing the private keys into a new wallet.dat file.

Now I find my missing coins

We should used the old wallet and use dump/import private key to recover my missing coins.

solution:
1. you can find your all address(including change addresses) from coin control features. use the coin control wallet(new wallet) click on settings>options>display and click on coincontrol then press OK.

then go to the send coins and click on inputs...
then click on list mode.
that shows you all the addresses you own.
see if there is one you missed

and then input : dumpprivkey <CinniCoinaddress(including change addresses)>

2. backup and move wallet.dat to a safe place, use the old wallet to import you private keys of all addresses. Waiting and reopen your wallet it should show the correct balance.

So all the updates are going to be late coming out? The wallet was late which was whatever because coin control isn't anything special. The messaging system is good and I am waiting for that but any update? I know battbott said a few ddays hopefully but the wallet was delayed when it was suppose to come out. Just everything I read is anticipations of something coming out or when it is coming out. Can we have another update list/time frame since the one that's already out is no good cause the time line is delayed. I know you devs get tired of hearing it everyday. I'm not looking for everything little thing. Just an updated ttime lineof the uupdates.

I send 1 coin to my MP, it shows up on my deposit, seems normal to me now, if you have problems, use the old wallet

I find that the old wallet is in same block with cinnichain, the new wallet seems more quickly(more 3-5 blocks) than cinnichain.

Now I am successfully sent my coins to MP

Fake rally? Nothing fake about buying in a 9000 and selling at 11000 is 10 minutes.

I tried to use the old wallet, pos blocks are not shown up on cinnichain.info

if you didnt use a backup/virgin copy of your wallet.dat then the orphans will stay logged in your wallet.dat from the other client.  just ignore it or you can export the privkeys and import into a new wallet.dat to clean it up.

you will not lose any coins, and will be able to restake the "orphans" by leaving it open.

I just tried to export privkeys and import into a new wallet and i thought I had backed up my wallet.dat yesterday

I am a noob and it turns out it was an old backup of my wallet.dat, does this mean that any coins i sent to addresses generated after the backup are gone forever?

i'm not sure what you mean.  i was meaning the PoS orphans that stay in teh wallet.dat.  the blockchain doesnt record those, but they stay in the wallet.dat making oversized and cluttered.  you use the method above, or revert to an older wallet (that contains the same addresses) as way to clean it out.  Any coins you have sent will be at the addresses you sent them to, so you need import the privatekey for those if they are newer addresses you created after the backup wallet.dat .

Yep seems to be good here now also, old wallet now showing correct balance just waiting for it to stake now. It worked fine just by importing the old wallet file from before the update, but that still showed some of my old rejected stake coins still and a balance a little higher to the blockchain only about 0.01 difference.

So exported all my private keys from the new wallet using the coincontrol method posted by "fox19891989" to get all my addresses, then imported them all into a fresh wallet.dat is perfect now all old rejects are not showing and  amount of transactions match the blockchain exactly. The balance is still a little higher this seems to happen when you import the key from a change address.

When importing the keys the wallet will hang and show not responding, just be patient and wait as once the import has completed all will work fine.

Is it normal to get some rejects when staking as the old ones i mentioned where from before the update, there was only a few like about 10 from the last month.

nevermind, i just deleted my wallet.dat because i thought i had it backed up and lost 15k cinni to the abyss...i feel like the turbo king of stupid right now
