As I announced briefly yesterday, I have been in talks with two professional coders (who know each other) about working on encrypted messaging + other features for Cinni's wallet alongside CinniCoin(dev).  They are confident that they can complete the work in a timely manner.

Those talks were finalized today, and they have agreed to take on the work for 50,000 Cinni.  I have currently raised 25,000 Cinni for their work, and I would like to ask the community to help fund the other 25,000 Cinni.  If you are willing to donate to this, please send me a PM along with the amount you are willing to donate.  I will be posting a public bounty address for this fund soon.

Thanks

We need to raise a total of 50,000 Cinni (25,000 has already been donated), so we are asking the community to help raise the remaining 25,000.

Here is the link for the bounty address for encrypted messaging:
http://cinnichain.info/address/JeJAHrAq6JTsfiiuJ4GFHx7hKWYh86QUT7

After you make a donation -- send me a PM with the TX ID and also the amount.  This is primarily so I may keep a record in case the coders do not deliver for some reason, in which case you would all be refunded.

Thanks

send what you can spare peeps  Smiley

Ok this is how i managed to get my PoS working again after wallet update and also get back all my missing coins that where gone from my balance...

Credits for this go to "digit" and "fox19891989" who from their posts and help i managed to solve my problems, i just took their combined info to make a nice clean guide.

Restoring a old wallet.dat backup from before the update and then using the old wallet solves it, but also leaves all the rejected PoS coins from the new wallet visible. So the following method is a better way which will tidy up your wallet and fix all problems caused with balances and will have you staking coins without a problem.

You will need to have your wallet unlocked at all times to carry out this fix

1. In NEW wallet make sure CoinControl is active (settings>options>display). Then go to send coins and click inputs in CoinControl panel, from there click on list view. Scroll through the list and right click on each address displayed there and copy the address then post it in notepad.

2. Now you have got all your addresses including the hidden change addresses time to export the private keys. Open the console still in the NEW wallet (help>debug window>console). Type into the console dumpprivkey <CinniCoinaddress>, where <CinniCoinaddress> put your address here (example: dumpprivkey JVgfbKMk9MrdwZry7X6iCTunTtdS2h1fYP). Do this for each of the addresses you got in step one, after each dump your private key for that address will be shown in the console window, copy and paste each of these keys into notepad also best place would be below each of the addresses your copied earlier so you know which key is for each address.

3. Now you have all your private keys close the NEW wallet and download the OLD vesion from http://1.cinnicoin.com/get-started/ and also the blockchain from https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=573232.msg6866461#msg6866461 . Once you have both replace the NEW wallet exe with the OLD one you just downloaded, then go to AppData\Roaming\CinniCoin move the wallet.dat file to somewhere safe just in case something goes wrong, then delete everything from the CinniCoin folder except cinnicoin.conf if you use it. Then open the blockchain file you also downloaded and copy the two files into the CinniCoin folder.

4. Once all that is done open the OLD wallet, you will have a balance of 0 and a new address (dont panic). You will now need to import the private keys that you exported earlier, once again open the console (help>debug window>console) this time you will need the command importprivkey <CinniCoinprivkey> [label] , where it shows <CinniCoinprivkey> [label] you wil need to enter the private key you exported earlier and for label you can put anything you want that address to be called (example: importprivkey SR3MP8bJDAjl1GTnQ99ZoK13rSzwT3rTomotS8eEiFfgYLE8XMz8 WALLET 1) once you press enter after typing the command you will have to wait a bit and the wallet will seem like it is not responding, just be patient and after a while the key will have finished importing. Repeat this for all the private keys you backed up earlier.

5. Once finished importing all keys close and then open the OLD wallet your balance should now be correct and all rejected stake will have gone, the wallet will continue to stake correct also after this. You will need to stay on the OLD wallet for it to continue working and staking well.

Thanks - just used your method to fix my wallet. Long process but got all my coins back!

http://Cinnipool.co is the most profitable place to mine, period.

Well that is obviously correct.
Whats the profitability been like on the pool recently... 0.004 to 0.006/MH/day?
I know that $3 a day SOUNDS like a lot. But trust me, it is!

I better stop before I die of a sarcasm overdose.

I'm going to release a wallet update today that fixes some things that were in the last one.

Glad to see Cinnidev pop in.
Obviously not a man of many words.

I bought basically all the way up and then kept buying on the way back down, and if I ever sell, it certainly won't be for a price that's near anything we've been at yet.

Can anybody explain to me why encrypted messaging will be innovative? Is it a game changer where once it is established, every other altcoin will try to adopt it (kind of like the anonymous fad going on right now). Thinking about investing more into cinni as the prices look cheap. Thanks

Think to yourself...why would one want encrypted messaging? There are multiple reasons, the obvious one being privacy. I dont think encrypted messaging will be a fad, i believe it will be a new addition/feature to crypto that will not go away. Why wouldnt people want to adopt encrypted messaging is the real question.

With the fight that is going on in the laws against freedom of speech and betting on internet  surveillance, this new feature Cinni devs are building will help assure a secure line of communication + transactions between parties, it is a real game changer as over time it will get closer to becoming a communication app [with secure transactions (virtues of cryptocurrencies)] , people are still doubtful over this, but over the last week you can see an accumulation phase going on, this is thanks to the lack of trust some investors still have + day traders, but as soon as the messages are working and people starts to find more about it for android platforms and other devices, well, just imagine an app like whatsapp, but with encrypted messages (only you and the related party can read them, no administrator not other person who takes care of the network) + one of the best POS cryptocurrency wallet, that would open the cryptocurrency world for a whole new market level, viral social platforms are where most online users are indeed, and there's only 15 million cinnicoins (BC has 75 mill for example and look where is at), one can only imagine what will be the future of cinni, but i bet if they continue to create and deliver it will be a pretty nice one.

If you feel that someone is accumulating CINNI that is not me and I have nothing to do with it.
I have no CINNI. no buy orders, no sell orders.
I am not doing anything.
I am all in btc, and have some BC and CAIx that I don't touch.
