Actually hell. I'll pay 2btc for a couple of stick figures (happily) exchanging a bitcoin for a handful of cash representing an exchange.
It would be nice if you can make it square for an avatar and I could pay a little more if you can make it vector I suppose.
If it's too much work screw it.
Here you go:

https://i.imgur.com/DNbOol.jpg

I took some creative liberty on it. Wink Let me know if this is what you have in mind, which one you like most, and I'll vectorize it for you. It's going to take at least x3-x5 more work than a quick drawing, so I'd appreciate a proportional payment, but anything will do since this is mostly for fun. Smiley If anyone wants to pool in for the commission, that might be cool.

I would, i'm still mining some coins myself though. I have a grand total of.... 0.23 BTCs  Grin

Once i have something more worthy i'll be back  Wink
Fair enough. Maybe this is a good excuse to try funding this via witcoin. You can put in your 0.23 BTC and encourage others to join while I update with progress on the piece. Smiley I'll see if there's a reasonable way to set this up.

you ever do any animation with these?
I've messed around with short 20~50 frame GIF animations back in the day, but I found it more interesting and enjoyable to express motion through still art. It has been a while though, I wouldn't be against it if you have something specific in mind.

Thanks for the compliments! Smiley This is something I really enjoy doing (both doodling and seeing bitcoins fly into my wallet Tongue), so I would love to continue. Anything I could whip up for you?

will pay you 2 btc to stick figure a 3 piece (stick figure) band rocking out. Drums, Bass and guitar (shaped sorta like an acoustic guitar), with something like this logo on the kick drum.

Excuse the bad lighting/blurriness (I think you can see that it's being lit up by the monitor, ugh), if you need it with more clarity I'll take another photo tomorrow in the daylight. Smiley Let me know.

Update: Replaced the old photo with a slightly better one taken in better light. Smiley

A stick figure mining for bitcoins and maybe a few stick figures on the same coin (to represent pooled mining) would go for far in the mining side of things.
Ooo that's a good one, I like it. Would you like to commission this piece? Smiley
I'll tip for this not matter what he does.

Awesome man, I really dig it. I'm probably going to use one for my avatar right now. I'll send you enough to make the vector worth your time for sure.
I'm assuming you'll be redrawing it completely for the vector so if I wanted some slight changes that wouldn't be a problem?
When I figure out exactly what I want I'll send you a PM and btc's.

Keep up the good work, never thought I'd be so impressed with stick figures.

Wow! I thought you were just going to be some stupid kid with mediocre drawing skills that wanted easy money, but these are amazing! I'll give you 10 BTC to make a logo for my minecraft server. Try and be creative with it (From the looks of it, you won't have any problem with that,) and make it evident that it has to do with minecraft. Maybe one of your stick figures leaning against a generic dirt block like this one?

It wouldn't have to be isometric like that, or even include that at all. Just make something in your style. Just an idea, I'm not the creative one here. Smiley Let me know if you would like more BTC than that.

I just updated the original post to include instructions for vectorizing or digital inking.

I added two requirements:
1. You must commission a draft sketch first and approve it.
2. Since vectorizing or digital inking is a lot more work than a quick sketch, I'm setting the minimum donation at 10 BTC for those. If you can't afford that but need it for a really special reason, we can work something out. Smiley

That would be great when you get a chance. Thanks!
Done, edited the post with the new one.

Awesome man, I really dig it. I'm probably going to use one for my avatar right now. I'll send you enough to make the vector worth your time for sure.
I'm assuming you'll be redrawing it completely for the vector so if I wanted some slight changes that wouldn't be a problem?
Thank you. Smiley Yes, I'll be using the original sketch as a foundation, but I can make adjustments to it. Let me know what you have in mind.

Oh man I love Minecraft, this will be fun! Smiley Does your server have a name? Any kind of theme you want me to go with? Inside jokes? Send over the BTC to get me started on some drafts for you. Once you approve one, you can pay more for a vectorized or digitially inked version if you want. Smiley

Great! I'll send the BTC as soon as I get home. I just started my server a couple days ago, so It's not ready for the public yet, but it's rylandland.com (couldn't think of a better name, haha.) So if you wanted to put "Ryland Land" "Rylandland" (I haven't decided whether Ryland and land should be seperated yet,) or "rylandland.com" in it, that would be fine. No general theme yet aside from just having fun, and no inside jokes yet either (I'm the only one who has been on the server.) How much for a vectorized version after?

I went through my other uploads and cleaned them up a bit. Now they look like they've been faux-scanned. Tongue

Here are the new versions:

https://i.imgur.com/RqE5Os.jpg https://i.imgur.com/NPdQ4s.jpg https://i.imgur.com/s49tFs.jpg

Also before everyone goes along and sends exactly 10 BTC, it would make things easier if everyone sent a slightly different amount (and tell me how much you sent) so I can tell apart who paid and who hasn't without having to make a separate payment address for each of you. Smiley

Suggestion: Make a unique address for every customer. Anyone can have a look at your address and state he was the one who sent the e.g. 10.74 coins: http://blockexplorer.com/address/1D7FRyhu1QzvdvjePVR6geui4DNaSgrM2E

I really like what you’re doing btw. Great addition. Grin
I'm willing to do that for anyone who sends me a PM asking for a one-off address.

So far, the process is working with someone making a post on this thread saying "I'm sending 32 bitcoins for blah blah" and then magically 32 bitcoins show up in my client. It's pretty safe to assume that the first person who makes the post is the one who made the commission, and I don't imagine my services are popular enough for people to sit here and snipe other peoples' commissions. Smiley

But as I said, if you're worried about wanting to make a big payment, send me a PM and I'll make you a special address.

And thanks. Smiley
