Can someone explain to me when the staking is supposed to start? And how does it work exactly?

Day 8 I believe  it starts daily and yes. As long as you have the wallet opened and not locked it should increase

Bump - Dev has not addressed why he split up the premine and never published the address to begin with.

Why does Dev not address this?  And moreover, why do not many people seem to care?  This is extremely shady looking.  And I ask as an interested investor.

I see great things for this coin, Just hope it can find some ways to differentiate itself from the other quick mined POS coins.  If it can find a way to stand out in the crowd it is to the moon for sure!!

No, if your coins are on an exchange, you will not receive any stake.

But the point is, that this is done to hide the 5% premine and call it only 0.5%.
The dev holds 33% of all coins at the moment!

I was invested in this coin since launch, i have mined it with over 80MH and I have bought a lot of coins at bittrex. After I have read about the premine, I decided to dump all coins with a little plus and invested all in whitecoins and cinnicoins.

Maybe somebody is releasing a new coin without premine and with this nice PoS of 10% daily for a few days, then I'm all in

These PoS blocks make estimating coin return from mining harder  - looking at the blockchain a 4000YC reward block is only being generated every 90secs or so. Not necessarily a problem but something to remember when doing calculations.

This 5 mil coins are worth 60BTC at the moment.

ultimately, I don't really care about a premine.  But as a potential investor, I would like transparency with the pre-mine wallet and how it is being used.

The Dev has not provided this transparency.  But more than this, the Dev has split up the pre-mine funds into several wallets in seemingly random amounts - and has provided no explanation for it.  And the only reason we know this, is not because the Dev informed us, but because of those who did some digging.

So, again - Dev, explain yourself.  Or else this looks extremely shady and I don't see why anyone would invest in a coin that seems like the Dev may be laundering to dump the premine.

Dev still has not addressed the above accusation.  Please respond Dev.
