Sooo i've been playing a bit with PS the last couple of hours, let me know what you think.  Smiley

Nice, very nice !

Ty, it's hard to tell how bad your work it is, because you somehow tend to get used to it while working on PS and in the end it's really really difficult to have an objective view on something you made.
This is my first "coin logo" try, every constructive criticism is really welcome.

I like it but it should be more yellow and less brown. No one should say it's shitcoin.  Grin

this coin made one of my mining machines explode today !

it was sitting to my right on a stand that my mouse was on when all of a sudden all at the same time
i heard a couple super loud banging popping type noises a really bright flash through my see through PC case side window
and a flood or nasty smoke started coming out like crazy !

so coin dev what is the mailing address to send the bill to..
i hope your can get my PC fixed for me soon i am losing mining revenue Sad

warning people don't mine this coin or your pc will explode too maybe !!!

Hmm just sounds that your card overheated, I don't think any coin can make your card explode, plus you are saying your card is inside your case.

Running scrypt in a closed PC case is a bad idea, why do you think all rigs are on open air custom cases? if anything had to do with this

it's just poor ventilation and overheating..

it is a case i had modded for ventilation with an industrial fan blowing into and i never said anything about a card did i ?
for all you know i was cpu mining it.. and i was too !

CPU mining this? uff that's going to be even hotter then.. true you have not told anything about a card, but seriously mining with CPU's is really not worth it plus you risk damaging your CPU what happend to you.
the only time I have CPUmined was to try out CPUminer and when I saw the temperature the CPU would go I was like F this shit no way I'm risking that.

You didn't have an temperature monitoring app running that prevents your CPU from overheat? there are tons off app were an alarm goes off if it gets too hot, and some can even put your PC to sleep if it gets over a certain temp.

my temperate was perfectly fine.. i have made my own pc and modded them since 1999 so i don't need much advice eh Wink
i lapped the cpu that was running for example and the Nvidia gpu i was running was as hot or hotter so your logic is well.. bs lol
You have no clue who your dealing with so why bend over backwards lecturing me and scolding me for running my pc ?

the psu blew up.. heat or what i used to mien with actually had nothing to with it.. it was the load and extreme old age of it that caused it to fail.
i know this because i opened the case up and took they PSU out.. i didn't assume things over the internet lol

OC'ing machines since my Pentium I & II cpu's Smiley

I hope the dev can pay me fro repairs soon i need my pc fixed Sad
your crappy coin clone made my pc exploded dammit !

To the devs of this coin... please do not be taken in by this guy's posts as he is a serious troll; he's trying to extort you and that's all there is to it.

The logo is VERY nice BTW!! Like the prev post said, some more yellow/gold would be nice though.

Exactly, we are way low on total coins minted versus what the plain math says, about 1/3 or so by my calculations.

I did some calculations based on the YC blockchain, posted over on another thread, but here is the important bit:

Quote
Bit too early for me to analyse BLU, but here's some numbers for YC. Calculating total coincap is complicated because of the mixed PoW/PoS phase:

Currently at block 18300 with 21.3M coins mined, so 12k blocks left in the PoW phase.
Seems about 10% of blocks have 4k reward so another 4.8M coins, lets call it 26M at the end of PoW
1M, i.e. 4% of total YC being given away at the end of PoW by the devs in this promotion so its worth taking a cpl of min to register
9 days of 10% interest daily PoS mining follow, which will take total coincap to 61.3M

So by day 19 when the coin should be low interest PoS only, there will be around 61,000,000 YC in circulation

The difference shouldnt be affecting any mining profitability calculations, just predictions based on future coincap...

If so, the maximum of 1,000,000,000 YC will be reached after about 78 years.

POW ends when?

At block 30240 - whenever we get there.  <2000 blocks left @ 20 seconds (less than that in reality) means < 11 hours...  Probably more like 6 hours.
