for any active project - it should be relevant to always have information that is being presented up to date - especially if the next update is planned for a few months down the road still.

for example, it says that you need $170,000 USD to run a master node which requires 10k DMD - at current price that would only be $5,000 USD - so what is the other $165,000 USD needed for?

The pool provided that details how to mine BTC and exchange for DMD is no longer operational for this purpose, I believe it meant multipool.us? maybe?

and yes volume is down - it is at zero on the one exchange and about $45 USD in the past 24 hours on the other exchange.

I would say the information needs updating, but to each their own.

This is an information resource that was created to answer basic questions primarily about the wallet.
The V3 Protocol needs updating first of all.

It is better than saying "sorry, we know it's outdated and not that accurate, but hey sometime in the near future - date unknown - we will update it when the DMD v4 comes out..."

I removed the estimated value of MN in dollars.
Once again, I emphasize that the main update is the V3 Protocol itself.
it is this part that requires so much time and that is why we are seeing a lack of new users right now.

if someone got access to ur wallet.dat + password or ur private key he can import that to any other wallet and do transactions

the coins are stored on the blockchain

but whoever control the keys can move the coins

You don't need to shift your personal security concerns to the DMD.
If you used your computer to play games or made parallel stakes with other coins or launched miners, this is your personal problem.
Users makes POS staking mode  with wallets containing tens of thousands coins and no one has any security problems.
Of course, your system should be fully configured for continuous operation and your computer should not have third-party programs and games.

ur keys ur coins ur responsibility

as u described a transaction happend

its ur responsibility to take care ur keys ur unlocked wallet are not accessable by someone else

the biggest danger is have a wallet without password protection or unlock without checkbox "just for" checked

in both cases anyone with access to ur screen keybord can initiate a transaction
