Why am I continually getting staked coins that never confirm? 500 in the last 2 days
Anyone? If you use V1.4, move mouse over the mining icon on the right bottom corner, then you will see the estimate when you will get the reward. Depending on your balance, it takes sometimes more than a week to get the first interest.

Depending on your balance, it takes sometimes more than a week to get the first interest. I'm getting staked coins that confirm in between the ones that don't. My question is why am I getting staked coins that don't confirm? 2 of the them today of about 250 coins each.

Those are basically orphaned blocks, someone else managed to get a staked PoS block confirmed on the block-chain before you did.

These orphaned blocks will be restacked later, so you don't lose anything. V1.4 will not show those orphaned blocks anymore, so upgrade it.

Yes sorry I should have mentioned, if your PoS block is orphaned you don't lose your stake-weight, so it becomes more and more likely you'll get an accepted block as time goes on. When you get one accepted, this will reset your stake-weight (time since a PoS block was accepted).

Thanks for all the replies. New wallet up and running. Just 1 more question. Is there a way to create more addresses in the wallet to split up the amount of coins into equal sizes? If I understand POS correctly that will make for better staking. Thanks.

(1) send out all coins to another wallet or exchange (2) create multiple addresses on the target wallet, (3) send back coins evenly to the new addresses. However, I don't know whether this will help for better pos staking though.

Hi guys, I have computers with 4 graphic cards on each -R9 280X running on windows software. I HAVE BEEN MINING SCRYPT , X11 AND X13 coins. I want to mine Jackpotcoin. Can you tell me what I need to download in order to mine Jackpotcoin?? I am not very expert so make it easy for me please. I usually mine at dedicated pool and I have sphminer for X11 and cg miner for scrypt downloaded on my desktop. I click on it and edit the windows batch file for any new coin and put the 4 digit # of the new coin and it runs. write to me what miner I have to download(link please) Help me to set Jackpot coin to mine please.

Thanks for your interest. JPC looks a small coin now, but a big wave is coming. Only a good investor can catch this. You will see big news in a few weeks.

The best GPU for JPC is nVidia 750TI. 280X is ok, but it is the best option for this coin. To use R9 280x, you need to use AMD 14.6 driver with a optimized sgminer. Here is the info, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=584481.msg7485969#msg7485969For pools, check the op. I like http://jackpotcoin.miningpoolhub.com/http://dwarfpool.com/But most of others will do the almost same. Always set up two pools, one is primary, second is fail-over backup.

Hey some instructions here http://jpc.hashatme.com/index.php?page=gettingstarted, but use the enhanced AMD sgminer with thr 14.6 divers tha atomrigs mentioned. Make sure you use the right algorithm command.. it's "jha" instead of "jackpotcoin". edit: as in the link that atomrigs posted.

What's the proceedure for upgrading existing wallets without risking your coins? Obviously back up my wallet.dat...but anything else I should know before I upgrade? (from v1.2).
you were mouthing me off before about wallet conf's and you said that ? wow and if anyone wants to know the answer.. just extract the contents of the zip file into your current wallet location and over write when asked.. that is for windows and on linux etc it will be similar. the roaming folder for windows users is where your wallet.dat file *should be so there should be no risk of overwriting it or anything when updating. i never back up my .dats on wallet updates ever.. i just update the .exe and run it
