hello,
what are the mining speeds of : 7950 270 280X 290 ?
IMHO High end AMD cards do not give you a good MH/s to power consumption ratio. Nvidia cards do much better on JPC. GTX 750Ti does 5.5+MH/s @ 60-70 watts.

Bringing in more investors is always a good thing.

Lazy nah? Just have read through too many BCT threads in the past. Needs a good indexing, don't you think? Anyone tried the Geforce GTX 970 and 980 to mine JPC on?

Check the crypto mining blog post for the 980 test results. http://cryptomining-blog.com/3503-crypto-mining-performance-of-the-new-nvidia-geforce-gtx-980/Spoiler: 15Mh/s at 165 watts. 16.2 with OC. keep in mind this was on ccminer optimized for the 750ti, while they're both Maxwell, there could be optimizations to further enhance it. Also it seems two 970s will be much superior and at a similar cost.

15000 KH/s?!? Ohh sweet George!!! That would have been nice to have back in May. Hey gettin' lonely on this topic.. see all the replies ? it's almost me here talking to myself LOL Did ya drop this coin and come back ?
No, I never drop the coin, I've been holding stacks of it, all the time. Even mined some on a 750 Ti card I put in a gaming computer for my nephew hehe. But I have been doing other things, yes. I want to see if 1.6 is coming out soon, I have such "not responding" issues with my 1.5 on Win 7 Pro 64, that's all.

It makes it a bit harder to use the wallet, but I hope v1.6 will be free of that instability.

hmm.. No wallet issues on W7x64 here. It's just an intel celeron, 4gb ram, 750ti rig too, and it's also mining 24/7.

Had this problem from the beginning. I was writing about that, but nobody cared It was freezing on Win Vista x64. But it ran normally on virtual XP 32bit... So I've used the wallet on virtual PC for some time. Now on Win8.1 x64 it freezes once in two weeks... Actually got only one situation when it crashed, then did not started and then started with lots of "not responding"... But now looks like works well again...

@SolidStateSurvivor hey yeah me too with the not responding thing occasionally.. Win7 x64 too
It makes it a bit harder to use the wallet, but I hope v1.6 will be free of that instability. i should add that i noticed the issue when updating a lot of blocks mostly.. once it's updated i don't see that problem *much. i also CPU mine and juggle how many threads i use making it lower or higher so i have some room left for other tasks on my Intel i7 4770k / Haswell 3900 mhz So i am fairly sure i am not choking out the wallet is why i said that.. i monitor my CPU usage with a custom made OSD with Aida64's sensor panel. I also noticed it's maybe more sluggish when i pulled out my fast new SSD Samsung evo 260gb and replaced it with another WD Black 1TB 7200rpm SATA load times are crazy long now LOL i was using a ramdisk for the wallet but i had a couple power outages in a week or two and my block chain files got corrupted bad and i had to re-download the whole thing so i dumped the ramdisk concept for now but i've been thinking about setting it back up with Primo ramdisk. anyway make sure you leave enough CPU computing power for the wallet to run and stake etc and i know most wallets use a lot when updating block chains i see most spike up my cpu from idle to full 100% usage on all cores.. just some random thoughts LOL
